“Stay at the Delta hotel.”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Had a great time whilst staying at the Delta hotel, room superb, always spotless, staff were so helpful at all times, and the restaurant downstairs has to be tried, all in all 10 out of 10..well done to all concerned, back again in October....

Room Tip: Ask for a seaview, stunning views looking over the sea to Fethiye.

The Delta Hotel is ideally located along a pedestrian walkway running the length of Calis Beach. A sea view room is definitely worth it if you can get it, and a bargain too. The room was bright with a nice balcony. It was a little dated, but it was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast at Bella Mama’s restaurant was good with a nice selection, including made-to-order omelets.

Nice and cosy hotel situated more or less on the beach. Perfect for a couple looking for quiteness and stressing down. The couple owning the place are just so hospitable and make you feel welcome. The promenade in front of the hotel is quite and slow and good entertainment when you sit on your balcony

Room Tip: Chose a room with seaview. It is absolutely neccessary

Modern hotel, great location on Calis beach. Beautiful outlook from the restaurant downstairs and the room. The bedding and pillows were so comfortable.

Close to the minibus stop and water taxi into Fethiye. The owner came and spoke with me over breakfast, very nice lady. Staff all friendly and helpful. Lovely views from our balcony, tea and coffee available and the room is cleaned at any time of the day..

On the negative side the shower leaked, WIFI not very consistent, breakfast - very plain and the same very day. Room needs blackout curtains and curtains do not fully close so is very light when the curtains are closed. Don't get room 203 (the one we had), it is close to the Loca bar next door and you can hear people and music at night and day. Although these are negative comments, they did not ruin our stay at all, it is a beautiful location and comfortable hotel.

Room Tip: Don't get room 203 - right near the roof top terrace of the bar next door - very noisy.

We stayed 3 nights and thought this was a great hotel and fantastic value for money. The service was excellent and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean, modern and well equipped with hair dryer, tea and coffee etc. The shower was super powerful and there was always hot water. The only small issue I had was that the bed was a little firm for my personal preference. The sea view was superb and with the doors open you could listen to the sound of the waves from within your room. The breakfast was more than adequate and it was a delight to be able to sit outside by the sea each morning. Highly recommended.

We booked this hotel last minute a day or two before we were supposed to arrive in Fethiye. While I think that vacationers looking to stay put for a while might really like this hotel, we felt it wasn’t the best placed for a 2-night stay over while we waited for our Blue Cruise to begin.

Location: I can see why people like Çaliş Beach – it has a lot of restaurants and a great view. The hotel itself had a lovely spot on the main beach stretch, and had an excellent view of the sea. But if you’re looking for any taste of what Mediterranean Turkey is really like, this isn’t the place to be. It’s full of expats, which was affirmed by the availability of English Breakfasts on offer along the strip each morning. Çaliş is also much farther from the City Centre than we had been anticipating (the dolmuş does stop right outside the hotel and is super cheap).

The room: Given that we booked late, we were given a 2nd floor room with 2 single beds the first night, and were switched to a double bed room on a higher floor the second night (unfortunately, we paid the same price for both rooms). The 2nd floor room was very noisy from the restaurant below and had terrible wi-fi. The higher room was much quieter on the second night and it seemed to be closer to the wi-fi router because the signal was much stronger. Both of our rooms had an amazing view of the sea (the sunset was lovely). Both rooms were also very modern and clean and had huge bathrooms with soaker tubs.

Staff: The manager (maybe owner?) was very friendly and helpful. It’s obvious he’s very proud of the hotel and takes his job very seriously.

Food: On the first night we arrived quite late and ate in the hotel’s restaurant – Bella Mama’s – for dinner (we were told the restaurant closed when the last customer left which was great given how late and hungry we were!). We had high expectations given the price, and the atmosphere of the place. However, we were disappointed. The pasta and pizza was only ok, and not worth the price given how many restaurant options there are on the strip. The next morning, we went down for the breakfast that is included in our room price, and again were greatly disappointed. There were very few choices, no fresh coffee (only instant), and no hot food apart from boiled eggs. There was a menu with some hot choices faced backwards on the buffet table, but no indication of where to get this food, and no effort on the wait staff’s part to help us out.

Three of us stayed at this hotel last May and were very impressed by the modern decor, comfortable rooms with fabulous views at a great location. The hotel is very well run, with easy access to Fethiye centre, Oludeniz etc.

Room Tip: If you prefer to avoid the afternoon sun, ask for a room on the estuary side (which happens to be th...
