me and my partner, nikki and paul, just got bac couple of days ago. Imparator is a fab hotel, friendly, funny, enjoyable place to stay. Staff harry and ali were amazing and make ur holiday, they make u feel more like friends than guests.
Strip 2 mins away, beach on a straight ther walk is 10 min and lagoon is bout 15 min. Location of the hotel is brill as everything is close to u but not near enough to hear the noise. Would deffinatly go bac to oludeniz because of its charm and beauty and deff bac to this hotel.
Make sure u go paragliding as its the highest and most beautiful place in europe!!! x x x

Room Tip: we had poolview although we were on ground floor so couldnt see the pool but this ended up bieng bet...

I have to say this is one of the most relaxed and chilled out hotels. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel really welcome by all the staff. We did have to pay for a safe and the aircon, but we expected this, as it is pretty standard for hotel apartments in Turkey to charge for these extras.
The apartments are comfortable and very clean, the pool/bar area is kept imaculate. One major factor in our satisfaction is the fact that the other guests were all so friendly. We met some lovely pepole wich helped to make our holiday even more enjoyable!!! ( Hi to Zak&Sam, Charlie&Katie+Mum&Dad :-) )
We really enjoyed the turkish night, it was great fun and great value for money. Generally the food was excellent value and of a good standard. The hotels location is fantastic, out of the appartments turn right, then left, then right and your on the main strip, with all the shops and resturants you could possibly want. I have to recomend the Sultan Ahmet (it is officially the best meal we have ever eaten in over 7 trips to Turkey!! The value was great (about 90 lira for 2 people inc 2 courses and drink) which is about £36 pounds, but the service is even better. We also did a couple of boat trips which i totaly recommend (there is a boat on the beach called Ninja which was great value, taking you to some beautiful bays and coves, which you would never normally get to see)
I loved this place and would definatly return, i cant understand some of the poor reviews i have read previously !! Harry and Ali were both great blokes, friendly, hard working and very accomadating !!! The cleaners are sweet lovely young girls that are very polite, when we were leaving i thought the cleaners were that nice i felt the need to tip the girl that had looked after our room. She was that supprised she nearly cried bless her!! The Imperator staff are very humble, hardworking people.
I hope this review gives you a good impression as i cant recommend this place higly enough x

Hotel is clean, towels are clean and bed sheets are clean. Rooms cleaned eveery day. We were surprised to find on check in that the airconditioning is at a daily charge and is not included in the room price. Also the safe is charged at a daily rate both around £5.00 a day. Once paid for aircon it was well worth it as the room got cold in not time. They prefer you to buy bottles and cans in the hotel rather than bringing them in from the supermarket. We went bed and breakfast for a week and the breakfast is more contiential. Cheeses and cold meat with bread or toast etc. The rooms are small enough to fit two single beds pushed together and a small desk with a mirror with a small balcony. The hotel is in a great location, 2mins from the shops and a 4/5min walk to the beach front. There are private beaches further down the beach front where you can get a dolmas from the hotel to the beach and back for free, you just have to flag them down.

Just returned from 2 weeks staying in the Imparator, have been to OluDeniz many times now but have never stayed here before. Rooms were very nice but air con is a must, rooms got very hot at night time. Breakfast was just a normal Turkish breakfast just a shame it was always full of wasp as it was outside around the pool area! We don't normally spend much time in our hotels but as it was so hot this time we did spend most of our time round the pool area, if i ever stayed here again i would never be doing this the prices to drink and eat in the hotel were mega money and the staff seem to only like you and talk to you if you drink from there bar! After a day trip we went to the bar to buy a bottle of Fanta which in the supermarket is 2tl in the hotel was 12tl.... Other then Harry the bar man being a big mouth and a moaner and the cleaners throwing dirty looks at you, i would stay here again for a nice cheap break but not in a hurry.

Just arrived back from 10 night stay at the imparartor hotel olu deniZ.

We arrived at around 0300 and we were helped to our rooms by the reception staff.managed to wake up in time for breakfast which is typical turkish fayre with plenty of choice and if you don't fancy this other breakfast are available at extra cost.the rooms are basic but are cleaned everyday and had fresh towels too.there's plenty of sunbeds so you don't get people getting up at 6-7 o'clock reserving sunbeds.we did the Turkish night which was ok for £10 but people were probably more interest in the England game that night as for the staff Harry and Ali are great there was no pressure to buy anything and if you wanted to sit at the bar you could.extra cost were £3 a night for security box and £4 a night for air con overall we had a great relaxing stay and would deffinatly go again.

We had a wonderful holiday in Olu Deniz returning yesterday but I would not not recommend the hotel for one reason, the poor attitude of staff and in particular 'Harry' towards guests. If you plan to sit by the hotel bar and spend lots of money then this is the place for you. You will be treated superbly. If however you want a holiday on a budget and not drink all night then you will shunned, ignored and generally treated like you are not wanted there.

The hotel operates a rather over the top hard sell policy with 'Harry' constantly trying to flog drinks during the day. It all felt like his priority was to make as much possible for the place rather than generate the sort of atmosphere which is conducive to wanting to spend money there.

Our cardinal sin was to not go to the Turkish night (which had very poor reviews from other guests while there). After that we were persona non grata and even ignored by 'Harry' when we left. On top of that being charged £20 for late check out when my wife was ill on last day was pretty poor and by this stage having any kind of conversation with him was proving impossible.

Aside from 'Harry' the place is pretty decent and what you'd expect of a 2 star Turkish hotel. Cleaning is good, place kept spotless, breakfast thought was decent. You get what you pay for and this is ok for a cheap break. Ali is lovely, seems to do all the work and doesn't come with bad attitude.

We will be back to Olu Deniz but never to the Imparator. The attitide of staff here was in stark contrast to the rest of the resort. Do come to Olu Deniz but try one of the many other similar hotels which offer exactly what this place does without the attitude.

Big recommendation for Kumsal Pide restaurnt on front by Belchik Beach hotel. Superb seafood, steaks and casseroles at best prices in the resort

We arrived about 16:30 and were greeted by Harry and Ali. The hotel is basic but very clean and friendly. Harry and Ali work their socks off to make sure you have a great stay. Without these two Im not sure how the hotel owners would cope. My children, 8 and 5 adorred Harry. he was greta with the children and always made sure they were safe and happy. Food at the hotel is also very good although we didn't eat there much as there was so much choice. We especially liked X factor and the Secret Garden.
My advive for greta food is to saty away from the main front, apart fron Buzz. You get much better value for money and service away from the sea.
