We stayed in this hotel in September 2013 . The hotel has everything you need and all the staff are lovely ! Beds always available around the pool ,rooms are lovely and clean ! Bathrooms could do with updating . Food very good and great cocktails at the bar ! We are hoping to go back next year but for longer this time :)

Room Tip: Like the ground floor rooms best

exceptional value,, rooms are basic but very adequate, location is great. just a couple of minute stroll to the beach and strip. on , we have been here for the last 2 weeks in september both this year and last and the weather has been early to mid 30s on both occasions. owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, in particular a chap called ali who is a huge assett to this hotel, and makes your stay very enjoyable...ps take him jaffa cakes and he will love you forever, on a whole, well worth looking at, enjoy `

we left here on the 28th September this is a family run hotel run for the family not guests, the 5 year old child of the family was noisy rude and disruptive and allowed to do as he pleased, to the detriment of the guests, the rooms were very basic and sometimes they omitted to clean them. our floor was never cleaned in the whole time we were there, it is noisy the music is supposed to stop at midnight but was only turned down , to accommodate people that wanted to stay in the bar until the early hours. Ali and Mustaffa worked hard and the owners sister was helpful, but the rest of the family did not acknowledge that there were any guests there.

This is a very very low budget hotel and this should be considered when considering it for a holiday. We will not be returning, in fact we used the Olu Deniz hotel round the corner for the last week., far nicer cheaper and very welcoming.

Room Tip: upstairs at the back

We stayed here in September 2013. The rooms/accommodation is as reviewed by others: basic and clean with some minor upgrading required to bathrooms, which I understand is planned for completion by the commencement of Summer 2014 .

Great points:

• Close to the centre and far enough away from the noise (with the exception of bingo night at the adjacent hotel – which clearly would depend upon your room location)
• Clean and tidy – towels changed as often as you wish
• Accommodating staff – family run
• On site restaurant as good (if not better) than some restaurants – and good value
• Drinks competitively priced and a good variety
• Higher rooms may have sea view (albeit slight)
• Ground floor rooms may be dark but would be safer for small children
• All rooms have air con/fridge/safe availability (approx. £10 per day for all 3)

Things which would turn a good experience into a great one:

• Ensure you leave the ‘make up my room’ sign outside your door if you wish your WC bin to be emptied daily. This is made clear when you are shown to your rooms but listening to the ‘complaints’ from some guests did lead me to believe that it may not have been made clear enough
• Take your own plug for the wash hand basin if you need one – please remember that this is a Muslim country and washing in running water is the ‘norm’ – therefore plugs are not provided
• The windows/patio doors are pretty soundproof – and so please don’t complain about noise if you are too mean to rent aircon – unless you are in a room overlooking the pool you should not be too bothered by noise from the bar (ditto early morning call to prayer from the mosque – but after all: you are in a Muslim country!)

Management ‘could do differently’s’

• More fresh fruit / yogurt at breakfast would be fantastic! It’s as cheap as eggs and cheese and would be appreciated by guests
• Have set days for maid service (change beds/towels) – This way you’ll avoid confusion(and save laundry costs) when guests either forget to leave their card on the door or keep it on repeatedly.
• If you want residents to buy all drinks / meals at the hotel – offer a small reduction in price to residents only – this would possibly prevent people walking 100m to save 1ytl on an Efes
• There are too few sunbeds for the total number of guests and if Thomson is taking 35 rooms at the height of the season in 2014, you may have some unhappy guests as those who persistently ‘reserve’ their beds before the sun comes over the mountain and then go out for the day will cause you issues.
• Start to ask for customer feedback during their stay – this way you will not feel aggrieved when they complain to their tour rep’ – there will always be those who are chasing a discount on their next holiday, and they will never return to you no matter what you do. However: those who digest their experience throughout their stay will probably return if they feel you believed they were important enough to ask for an opinion.

Stayed here end of August beginning of September for two weeks in a ground floor room , basic but clean, bathroom could do with updating but had a great powerful shower. One point pillows were so hard. We paid extra for air con and safe and rooms were cleaned every two days.We are normally beach people but the pool area was so nice we ended up spending a lot of time there, always guaranteed a sun bed. We ate there most lunch times and the food was lovely and very reasonable. It has a great bar area ,nice for meeting up with people before you go out and again for a night cap at the end of the evening. Ali behind the bar is very friendly and good at his job. Great location just far enough away from the strip, but not too far too walk to restaurants and bars. Good family hotel, felt very relaxed here, met some nice people and would definatley return.

This was my first time to Turkey. The hotel is in a great location, a couple minutes walk to all the restaurants/ shops/ beach etc. The hotel and grounds is kept very clean, as are the rooms. We had a balcony which was great to dry swimwear/ towels etc. You can pay extra for facilities such as a safe, fridge and air con. We only paid for the safe. You are meant to buy water and food from the hotel (not bringing food and drink into the hotel), we brought the water there on many occasions as they have some in both the fridge and freezer (if you still want your water cold hours later). The pool was fine, always sun loungers available, what ever time of day. Free Wifi is available in the pool/ bar area which was handy. The staff are very friendly and work really hard. Would definitely like to come back to this hotel again :)
