We stayed at this hotel for 2 days in our honeymoon. Wonderful rooms and garden make us feel like we are in heaven. Very kind and friendly staff. I advice fish for dinner. There is a very small swimming pool but it has very bright fresh water from mountain. Also there is a small brook in garden. Turtles, ducks, cats, birds, chickens make the hotel more wonderful.

We were very fortunate to discover Mountain Lodge. We wanted somewhere to chill out for an evening meal near where we were staying. The owners couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming, as though we were their first guests of the season, not some of the last. The fresh food, all locally sourced (beans even from the garden), was delicious and plentiful. They even lit a fire for us as the evenings were starting to get chill, although we were the only guests there. The sunset from the terrace was spectacular, the view over the valley is stunning. Well worth a visit, and we would definitely stay there if passing through again.

Stayed for one night, owners did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The dinner was delicious and the room was lovely as well. Would recommend anyone exploring Tlos or saklikent area to stay one night!

We chose this place for three reasons - it looked great, it was close enough to allow us to independently visit Saklikent gorge (dolmus) and Tlos ruins (walk).

It met all three criteria but we were surprised just how much we liked the hotel - the staff, food, room, gardens - everything was to all intents faultless; including the other guests who were v nice.

No attempt was made to capitalise on effectively captured guests with inflated drinks prices and the evening meals were delicious.

In terms of value in 'boutique' hotels, your money goes a lot further in the mountains in Turkey than on the coast and the price, particularly if you eat in the hotel, is also appealing.

We've 'done' Saklikent and Tlos but have found a couple of additions to allow for what we hope will be another visit in the not too distant future.

Room Tip: I only saw two and both were very nice

- inviting places in a beautiful garden
- inspiring talks in the evenings (embedded by sundowns)
- nevertheless the very well choosed, prepared and arranged meal!

We crossed ways we´d properly never found, if we weren´t guided by Sönke (one of the owners)! Thanks a lot!

We have rarely been received with such friendliness in a hotel. The lodge is just a Heaven of Peace and lush green gardens - a real blessing from the scorching summer heat in Turkey. Everything about the place feels fantastic: the people, the rooms, the gardens, the rooms, the pool. And the kids were over the moon chasing ducks and frogs. It is only 15' drive from the Saklikent Gorge and the Tloss ruins are just up the road - so you can visit them early mornign or late evening, long before or after the crowds. Don't hesitate a minute to stay here.

Room Tip: Nous avions une chambre à double lit avec deux lits superposés. Parfait pour nous et nos 2 enfants.

This really is a lovely small hotel: peaceful, pretty, beautifully looked after and with very good food. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the gardens full of colour and water, the views great and a good - un-chlorinated - pool. Breakfast is as good as you will ever have including interesting cheeses and home-made jams, the dinners the best of imaginative Turkish cooking. It is very well run and nothing is too much trouble for the charming and very well informed owners. It made a wonderful base from which to explore both the coast and up into the mountains. If you like walking or exploring Sonke is a mine of helpful - and inspiring - advice!

Room Tip: We stayed in two of the better (ie more expensive) rooms and they were lovely!
