Cinbal restaurant in Kaya Village is an amazing, traditional, unique restaurant very close to the 'ghost town' of Kaya which should also be visited.

Cinbal is certainly a favourite of the local Turkish people but of course many tourists visit too and are very welcome, which I have done for the past 8 years :)

Wonderful experience sitting outside under the grape vines taking in the lovely atmosphere on a summer's night. Your meal starts with mezes of your choice. This is followed by the cooking of lamb, chicken etc on your own small BBQ with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. All food accompanied by tasty salads, bread and even chips if you wish. Or if you prefer the very hardworking, helpful staff will cook your food for you. Try the local alcoholic drink Raki or beer, wine etc available too.

You can drive to, get taxi, ride on dolmus or be transferred by Cinbal staff to and from restaurant.

JUST GO VISIT NEXT TIME YOU ARE IN FETHIYE AREA - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED :)

Breakfast very good (5/5), sucuk very delicious, kuzu tandır rocks! (bi konya değil ama), atmosphere very nice, a little smokey due to all the barbecues in every table but a "must try" overall if you visit kayaköy.

This is a regular favourite of ours.

You choose your meat and salads from the displays and then they bring you your own blisteringly hot barbecue so you can cook your own food.

Very popular with local folk and fantastic value for money, 6 of us ate like kings and had drinks/wine & coffees as well for under £15 per head!

We ate with two other families at Cin Bal on a busy Saturday night. There was a mixture of holidaymakers and locals which is always encouraging. We sat on a large raised Ottoman and had a splendid meal. We had some Meze for starters (the chilli is very hot!) and then the house speciality of slow cooked lamb which was absolutely amazing. We ordered chicken and kofte (meatballs) as well as lamb chops (you order by the kilo) and you cook it on your own small BBQ which they bring to your table. A couple of plates of salad and chips and a couple of generous baskets of bread complement the meal perfectly. Of course we had the obligatory Efes Pilsen beer and some decent Turkish red wine. Total cost was 400TL for 11 of us, or just over £12 each!!

Beautiful spot, lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a fantastic lunch here. Excellent food and service. We will be returning next year!

We arrived early one lunch time to an empty restaurant as the staff working extremely hard to make the place spotless. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly with a mixture of locals and tourists.
