Take the free speedboat across from the Marina - you will get wet but when we were there it was so hot that was great! We hired a cabana which was great to escape the sun. Go in the morning for sun bathing and swimming, have some lunch (food was pretty average) then relax for a hour or so in your cabana... Heaven! Worth noting ... It's really not a place for families with small children - I would say teenagers +

Superb location and an amazing trip on the free water taxi from the Gocek marina needed to get here. We had refreshing drinks here on a hot afternoon after our visit to the hammam - great. We also visited during our final week aftermissing the water taxi on our previous attempt! Surprisingly quiet considering the quality of food and surroundings. The staff are quietly attentive, lighting a smoky mozzie repellent and allowing us to tempt the fish with bits of our bread. We sat at a table at the water's edge and enjoyed the view and food. The complimentary bread was a traditional Turkish naan type puffed bread & olives. As it was our final late evening our sons also had a chocolate souffle each which was beautifully presented and tasty. Well worth the effort to be on time for the water taxi! Highly recommended.

We went across from Skopea Marina on the tug boat which is always enjoyable. We arrived at 6.30 which was obviously early for dinner as all the waiters were still dressed in shorts and t-shirts and seemed shocked that people were arriving. We had no problem getting a table as we were literally the only people there. We were not holding out much hope after our visit last year!
One waiter brought over a bottle of water for us and tripped over the side of my chair and nearly ended up in the sea! Nobody could stop laughing, especially his colleagues.
We found the wine to be quite expensive, 60TL and 70TL for bottles we were paying 35/40 TL for back in Göcek. The menu has had an overhaul since last year, less choice but everything sounded delicious (except the chicken and mushroom vodka which had been crossed out!).
We really enjoyed the huge pita they brought out while we waited for our starters. Starters were delicious, 2 of our party had the prawns which looked and tasted lovely. Main courses were also good but we were bothered by a cat, which my mother-in-law hates. I think it was interested in the sea bass on her plate but the staff did come over and take it away on numerous occasions.
We rushed our beautifully presented desserts as we thought the boat was due to leave at 9 so as we went to pay the bill the manager offered us some free drinks as we had half an hour to spare.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, such a difference from last year. They explained that it was quiet because it was Thursday and they do most of their business on Friday and Saturday nights.
Definitely worth a visit, if a little pricey. Such a shame it is not better advertised in town.
