Having used the sea front loungers in the daytime and had a snack we returned to try an evening meal.
Food however was dreadful, they blamed a new chef. When complained the previously attentive staff were unavailable and they even overcharged on the bill. Paid and left, wouldn't return.

This was our first stay here, It is a bit more than basic the rooms are clean / cleaned often.on the small side but perfect for sleeping/relaxing/dressing and washing.getting ready for the day/night.
the staff are great we found them, friendly/helpful /funny in a good way .
it is right on the beach front as close too all the bars.shows.shops. that you could ask for.
the food is fantastic,at a very low cost .there is no POOL only the sea.just 14 walking paces away from the bar so NO NEED FOR A POOL..
we went the 16 july / 29, july it was very very hot at this time off year but the air con in the room is a more than welcome thing
we have booked again this year for next year 2014 in july. we live in manchester england.

Room Tip: there all the same .but if you can ask for the sea view room they are breath taking..

Although we didn't stay at this hotel (we unfortunately stayed at the hotel Selen just behind) we felt that we should tell everyone about it and what a great place it is and if anyone says otherwise IGNORE IT. All of the staff especially '' the sexy chef'' and ''Paul'' were excellent, they were all so friendly, helpfull, polite, very funny and the hospitality was second to none. All of the food (try the ''sexy chefs'' lamb) was superb and excellent value for money. Its location ,right on the seafront, could not be better and when using the sunbeds on their section of the beach they wait on you hand and foot ( my idea of heaven) We cannot comment on the rooms but our friends had viewed one and said that they were very good and clean and tidy.
This was our first visit to Turkey and to Marmaris and and we can honestly say that we have never met such a friendly race of people, always polite and friendly and a please and thankyou goes a long way as it shows respect to them.
If you are looking for a bargin with the ''genuine fakes'' head down towards the marina and go shopping in the bazzar/arcades, we found they were better value than the main road shops. Whilst there and if you looking for gold jewellery try the Diamond Centre ask the sexy chef for details.

Arrived home early hours today from a really friendly hotel. All the staff are happy, chatty, friendly and always had seemed to have time for a smile and ask if everything was ok for us. We stopped by on the off chance they had a room available for a couple of nights and with it being early season they did.
It was clean, fresh towels of the beds, spotless bathroom and a balcony with a view to die for, at the front of the hotel looking towards the harbour.
'Charlie' at the front of the house is brilliant fun, he's not really called that but thats what we named him. The hotel owner was there each evening and always came over to see if we were happy too, the manager was brilliant, Peter Andre lookalike brilliant.

Food was excellant, we had lamb chops 1 night ...Superb!! Seafood platter on another, with seabream, prawns and calamari all dressed on a large platter. The set menus of 3 courses looked excellant value too.

We certainly was made to feel welcome and left vowing to return as old friends, thank you so much x

Room Tip: Beautiful view at the front rooms.

Reading the recent reviews attached to this hotel make me think we are in a different place! We travel to Marmaris regularly on business as we have land nearby in Kechi Buku. This was one of worst experience ever, reminding me of Turkey 20years ago. We booked ahead, told them of our arrival time (it was in mid November) which was around 2130. When we arrived no one seemed to know we were coming. We had booked for 4 days. The room was poorly maintained, the bathroom dirty. There was no wifi on the third floor as advertised, but OK on ground floor. The double bed was new and comfortable, but only had a sheet for a single bed on it and two pillows without pillow cases and no blankets. There was one towel. This was quickly rectified after we complained to the "night manager" . There was no hot water. We were advised that breakfast (included in the price) was between 0700 and 1100. At 0730 the night manager was asleep on the sofa in the breakfast room. There was no hot water in the morning by 0800. There was no breakfast available at 0830 or at 0930. The manager woke about 0915 as we were leaving the hotel to go elsewhere. We went to a place 200 metres toward Marmaris and were welcomed given a free breakfast, a suite at no extra cost which was great.
Later that day we spoke at length with the George and Dragon hotel owner who eventually agreed that our treatment was unacceptable and promised to rectify all the problems by the time we came back later next year.
We never met the "Chef". The only thing we can agree with the other reviews was that the position is great. Pity about the rest
