When we booked we were told that we would be in the main building but were in the small building across the road, we checked into our rooms there was a fridge which was dirty toilet that leaked, a hot plate that only had 3 legs instead of four and an airconditioner that didnt work, my mum was in a room upstairs from us her kettle tripped the electric every time she used it she had cupboards doors hanging off an a broken shower! We would complain about this but no one would ever come and see us after continually asking about the air-conditioning we eventually bought a fan which when we were seen bringing it in we were told we would have to pay 5 lira a day for electric when we refused they eventually tried to fix the air con! The pool was never cleaned and my sons were swimming one day and there was human feaces in it when I complained about this they said well it's gettin fixed now and didn't see why I was angry! when holidays 4 u went bust we were asked to the office I had been in contact with the CAA and they had told me that the hotel had to make a claim from them and they would be getting paid! When in the price they kept saying h4u owned them 20,000 pound and we had to pay our accommodation again we told them we didn't have money for this and they said credit card we told them we didn't have this, then the manager started shouting and banging things off the table and told us we had an hour to pay or get out the hotel this is with 3 children under the age of 10 and 4 days before our flight, we had to phone family an ask them to pay! The only good thing about it was the bar staff happy to help pity the management dont have the same attitude!!

We booked this hotel through Thomas Cook. (Having an extended family outing, we booked four one bed apartments at the complex.)
First the good parts.......
Great location. Center of everything. 10 mins walk to the Point Center Shopping Center. Main enterance bus to town center and main gate drop off as well. Mini mart just outside apartment is expensive, but thats the price you pay for convenience. (You can get same things for a third the price at large supermargets like Tansas or Migros)

Pools is great, clean and slide is a fabulous addition, even for the big babies in the group! The pool area has a great advantage of having a shady part at any one part of the day. (One half of the pool has shade in the morning, and the other half in the afternoon. So sun lovers and sun avoiders are equally at home here) Like any resort, be sure to place your towels early.

Apartments are clean and big enough for a family of four. (One of our four apartments had a faulty airconditioner, and dripped condensation onto the floor. Desspite best efforts of the engineer and staff, unfortunately it couldn't be repaired. So we ended up with towels and pots and pans underneath to catch the drips. But it worked perfectly though........"C'est la vie." Make sure your fridge is working when you walk into the apartment. It is usually turned down, and you need to turn it up. Hot water is solar heated. Best time to shower is between 3pm-5pm. MOST IMPORTANT.............Airconditioning is worked on a separate kay as roon door key. So if you arrive after say 11PM, then unless you have prior requested airconditioning keys to be left with the night watchman, expect to be sleeping in the warmth of a hot Turkish night till the next day.
(All electrics work though, sans the AC until you get the remote the next day)

The manager, is more than happy to help as much as he can. bottom line is, that the accommodation is not 5 star, but very comfortable. If things go belly up, tell the mamager first, and he will try his best to sort things out.
(If you like perfection, then this is not your hotel, choose 5 star!)

Room Tip: Ground floor Rooms 104, 105 aand 106 have best views. First floor rooms 113 is best.

this year was our 3rd year staying i the ceylan, and yet again we never had any problems, good food, friendly staff and clean appartments, good pool etc, anything we asked for we got, which was appreciated, like the last person i also got a tattoo in the appartments by Toner (great guy) who designed what i wanted and is a great artist,i agree that his studio needs air conditioning so the owners would need to look into this,

he may even tattoo a smile on their face for free as they dont seem to have one lol

Room Tip: water was cold through the day,for a shower

My family n I stayed at Ceylan for 3 weeks in june/july. We all had a brilliant holiday .This was the second time wev stayed at Ceylan n I would highly recommend them 2 anyone. Our ages ranged from 6 months - 69 yrs old. My son who is 13 loved every minute he was there. He made lots of friends , all the kids got on really well. The pool slide is brilliant for the kids (& adults lol). Ceylan is an excellent choice for families with children of any age. The apartments are spotless , the maid service was brilliant n the staff were fantastic. A BIG HELLO to Zac , Semi , Martin , Melissa n every1 else , we miss u all but will hopefully see u all again next year. The entertainment every night was great esp the pool parties n the turkish nights , food was delicious. I made the most of happy hour every night between 10 & midnight . 2 local alcoholic drinks or cocktails for 10 tira (£4) :-) . Semi nicknamed me BOGOF lol. I got my first ever tattoo this year in Ceylan. It wud b great if the owner of Ceylan wud install air con in tattoo studio , its really needed. Thank you 2 everyone for a great holiday n see u all in 2012.

Room Tip: Be honest n if you are able 2 climb stairs please leave lower floors for families n elderly or disab...

We stayed here for 2 weeks this Summer and had such a brilliant time. The apartments were cleaned daily, the pool area was really friendly and the food was delicious. All the staff were lovely, we miss them a lot! I definitely recommend these apartments to everyone (families, couples and groups of friends) Can't wait to go back! :)

Room Tip: Get a room with the balcony overlooking the pool!

Myself and a small group of friends were looking to go on a budget holiday (most us us are students so we had a very small budget!) We eventually came across Club Ceylon Apartments. The pictures looked good, however many of the reviews we were read said otherwise. We really couldn't afford anywhere else so decided to cut our losses and booked! We became increasingly worried when readying reviews, when we arrived at the apartments we were bracing ourselves for something bad...

On our arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff. We were taken to our room which was basic, but clean and perfect for what we needed: small kitchen area, beds, bathroom, also a balcony which we hadn't expected. In search of a supermarket to get some necessities, we bumped into our holiday rep, holiday rep?! We didn't know we were getting a holiday rep! He sat us down, went through all the bus routes and different buses, how to get to places, recommended clubs and restaurants. We booked all our activities through him: Turkish baths, the calcium baths, all inclusive all day boat cruise, moonlight cruise, all for 116 TK which is the equivalent to about £45. We would not have been able to afford half of these things if we hadn't of booked them through the rep, as all the stalls that sold these events were charging extortionate prices. We booked through Low Cost Holidays, who I would highly recommend.

All the activities we went on were brilliant, we still cannot believe that everything we did amounted to about £45. We all had such an amazing time. The staff at the apartments were brilliant, all friendly, funny and up for a bit of banter. They made our stay at the hotel and we couldn't thank them enough when we left for making our stay so enjoyable. We spoke to many other people who were on holiday there, all who shared the same views on the apartments and the facilities as us, so we all found it hard to believe all the bad reviews that we had read.

I would absolutely recommend the apartments to anyone. They were a 10min walk from the beach and the more lively strip in Marmaris, buses run regularly, even the shop opposite selling all the basics: water, bread, milk etc were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall it was a fantastic holiday and we would all love to go again.
