Hotel excellent , food good , entertainment fantastic , rooms clean if not spacious ,staff very friendly.Getting a sunbed a bit of an issue. Not enough for everone during full occupancy.Rep only wants to sell tours. You do not necessarily need any Lira for local shops / restaurants , Sterling is accepted everywhere.HSBC cash point will dispense sterling but only in £50 notes!
Recommend the lazy day boat trip from Icmeler , booked with Stevie wonder on the beach kiosk.Take plenty of drinks with you as they are expensive on board.A ride or two on the Dolmus is a good experience , the fountains at night and bazaar are well worth a visit.I think the Turkish law must be that you will be prosecuted if you are not using a mobile whilst driving!! WiFi is poor and chargeable , it should be free! keeps going off.English style pub great for coffee or any other drinks.English breakfast readily available at lots of local restaurants , we used Yes Sir , great service and cheap as chips , £2 for full English /Scottish.Ray Ban sunglasses for £3 everywhere.

Room Tip: Pay for an upgrade.

Just returned after 10 days at Julian Club. We have not stayed in a complex for a few years as we have stayed in a private villa but what a great time we all had. There was nine in our party(including a 17 month old). Yes the food was repetitive, but always something you could eat, yes it was busy but all in all a great hotel, great staff, clean and tidy. Rooms were spacious and good enough what you need on a holiday unless you plan on spending 24hours in them! Maid service excellent. Mini fridge in every room. We did not have any drawers for clothes but asked at reception and they bought a set up. YOLO entertainment team were the best we have ever seen. We will not name individuals as they were all fab. Plenty to do every day and lots of dance routines to learn. Love the Crazy Frog dance! Loved little minx hair and beauty salon. Will certainly look to book again.

Went as a family of three to Club Julian in July. Weather is fantastic! People are amazing! Hotel was really clean, room was a good enough size and they sorted a pool view and extra bed for my son as requested. Yes balcony not massive but good enough to sit on for all the time you spend in a room on holiday! Tv had cartoon network, itv2 and news so was food enough when little was on. Air con was well needed and cooled room down nicely. Maid cleaned room to high standard every day without fail. Food wasn't the best, could get by but preferred to eat out as partner and son are quite fussy but could have utilised better. The entertainment team were brilliant especially Jay and Ayko :) - Jay is great at pool and very sweet - Ayko is plain bonkers and great entertainment! Loved the pool dances and the way they got everyone involved! The cleaning staff around the bars were good and never left ash trays or empty glasses for long. Only down side to this hotel is there is a real problem with wasps at the pool and round the bars (they love the juice) not sure a lot can be done here but if you are scared of them then can make you nervous - I don't like them at all but if you leave them then you will be fine - perhaps could get some traps or something? We done something different nearly every single day thanks to Andy at Ago travels down the street. He really looked after us and was an absolute pleasure to deal with and every trip was an experience :) Don't go to all the dodgy guys who say can do it cheaper - yes maybe but won't get picked up, won't be insured so stick with Andy and you will be well looked after! Trips I would recommend is Turkish bath, Jeep Safari, Waterpark and Dolphins - watch out for the extras - all offer pictures which are great but Jeep safari is pics of everyone and dvd so not a keepsake but we got them all! Also go to the beach front and hire your own speedboat, jet ski and anything else you fancy - they have the lot! Would definitely go back to Turkey in a heartbeat although self catering is probably best if intending to experience all Marmaris has to offer. We spent most days eating and drinking at Jacobs bar (UMUT) across from Epic where food and drink flowed and they really look after you too but do try and go to more places as this is the only thing we should have done hence the return visit will be on the cards soon :) Shop about for your gifts as you will always get a better price and never say yes to the first one given - something learned late on! Regardless where you go Marmaris can be a holiday to remember!

Room Tip: We stayed in a standard room and for a family of three it was suffice - made an extra bed up for our son and the main bed was huge so all in all good :)

My partner and myself stayed here for a week. We loved every minute of it!

Our room was great. Plenty of space for 2 people with a lovely new bathroom. Air con that cold that we had to turn the temperature up!

The choice of food on offer was brilliant. Different choices every day for the more adventurous eaters and a stable diet of chips and chicken nuggets for the more cautious.

Pools were always lovely and clean. The entertainment team made sure that you were happy and could not do enough for you. There were loads of activities to join in with but no pressure to do anything you were not comfortable with.

Sun loungers were a bit of a pain but the hotel staff did everything they could to sort it out. People were going down to the pool at 5 o'clock in the morning to reserve the "best" beds. However if these strange people left their precious beds before 8 o'clock the staff would remove their towels and place them in reception. This did provide great entertainment for those of us who got up at half past 7 and "stole" the newly vacated sun loungers.

The evening entertainment was consistent. Kids disco followed by bingo every evening until 10. Then the entertainment team did a fantastic job of different shows and games.

This is a great hotel for families and couples who like a lot going on around them. We would go back and take friends and family with us.

We would like to personally thank Selina, Funky, Roxanne and Ayko for making our holiday one to remember :)
