Stayed for a week from June1st. On arrival we were allocated a ground floor room overlooking the road . The room itself was nice but we upgraded to a pool/sea view room on the 3rd floor which was amazing. It cost £153 but if you can afford it well worth the money. Food was great something for everyone's taste , as it's all inclusive if you didn't like it you can leave it and try something else, no problem. There was steak and chicken cooked on a bbq grill which was very tasty. Couldn't count the different dishes and salads available and the desserts were to die for!
The small shop in the hotel is well worth a visit. He's got the best exchange rate and is open until midnight. Our evenings were spent by the beach bar which had a great choice of drinks including Irish coffee and a variety of singer/bands entertaining us. Holiday over too quickly we will be back!
The only negative comment is the bingo by the pool bar is a rip off very expensive for vouchers to use in hotel and discounts in jewellery shop. Oh yes and a free bottle of wine but who needs that when your all inclusive lol!

Room Tip: Book a sea room the higher the better, well worth it.

Sat writing this review as we wait to go home after a week away here at the Grand Azur in Marmaris.
Could not fault the hotel at all. Fantastic and great service by all staff here. All staff have been friendly and welcoming.
For all inclusive, the hotel itself offered a great package. Drinks were amazing and offered a wide range including brands. There were ice creams, various snacks , a daily patisserie and refreshments also included in the package.
The stand out member of staff at the hotel was Mert. I rented a beach Cabana (as part of the hotel) as a surprise for my girlfriends birthday while we were away. Mert took care of us and went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. He made it his mission to make sure it was a great surprise and even brought her a birthday cake and sung happy birthday to her. He is a excellent employee at the hotel and smelt amazing
In terms of Marmaris, the resort was a little “busier” than we would had hoped, especially along the beach and in the main town, however we walked along to the old town which was much quieter and more to our taste. Here there were picturesque cobbled streets and great views of the marina.
We went on a boat trip to local areas , allowing us to stop at various places to swim, sunbathe etc. Drinks and food on board were all included and was a great day.
Back to the hotel, in all the all inclusive holidays I’ve been on, this has been the best. All in all, a great relaxing week away.

Me and my wife have just returned home after staying here a week. And what a fantastic week it was! We arrived in the early hours of morning to a much needed beer at the 24 hour lounge bar, and then retired to our clean, cool, spacious room with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on away from home. Opening the curtains in the morning we were delighted by the view across the gardens overlooking the bay. The food is plentiful and delicious, and the free premium drinks went down a treat. The hotel excels in neat little touches like keeping the beer glasses in the fridge, and the staff really do seem to care, frequently remembering our usual drinks orders. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully kept, as is their section of the beach. On our last full day we treated ourselves to one of their cabanas at the end of the pier, which while being quite expensive, we really did love it, and were treated fabulously by Mert, our very own waiter, who couldn't do enough for us. Fresh fruit and drinks were already waiting for us, and throughout the day Mert would bring us drinks and treats from the pool bar. I had a Balinese massage in the cabana from the hotels own spa team, and would certainly recommend this. We didn't really experience much of the entertainment, but really enjoyed going down to the beach in the evening where a band would normally play while we sipped cocktails as the sun went down. We also really enjoyed the Steak restaurant which was very quiet and The views spectacular. The hotel is perfectly situated not too far from the centre of Marmaris, which is much bigger than I assumed it would be. We didn't need to venture anywhere else, but it was nice to walk to Icmeler, a few miles down the coast. A boat trip from Marmaris harbour is highly recommended. The journey from the airport is over an hour so a private taxi is a must. Unfortunately Dalaman airport is pretty awful, so may consider the slightly longer transfer from bodrum next time.

I have been to this hotel a number of times over the years and always felt it was of a 5 star standard. Unfortunately this year the hotel has entered the all inclusive status and as a result I feel the standards have dropped. The hotel has not addressed the demands that all inclusive brings. Higher occupancy and lots more children means more staff and more organisation needed. If you want to lie by the pool you must set your alarm and be down with towel in hand at 7 am or you have no chance. The pool is lovely and well maintained but the music which is played throughout the day is loud and booming- personal headphones are required to drown out the noise of this and the screaming children. The meal times were another disappointment. The food was of a good standard and choice fair but trying to get a table with place settings could be a challenge. The staff were too few and trying to get a drink order was near impossible as they were clearing tables while trying to supply drink orders. Sad to say that some of the waiters have mastered the art of avoiding eye contact/ arm waving etc... I feel I am being very negative about the hotel and this maybe because I see the huge drop in standards. It has turned into just another bog standard all inclusive hotel in Marmaris. Great if that's what you like and have children with you but not for a couple wanting a quiet relaxing holiday. Sorry to say I will not be returning anytime soon.

Loved the Grand Azur from start to finish had it all that I would expect in a all inclusive hotel from food to entertainment brilliant the live music at night was a great touch of class. A special thanks to the two lads on the beach bar Jusef and Mastafa who kept me well hydrated with bottles of Becks on the beach thanks lads. Would also like to point out the fella that runs the newsagent has the best exchange rate anywhere for those who take English money and exchange as they need it. I will defiantly be returning to this hotel Thanks staff for a great stay.
