very disappointed in this hotel considering we were very excited about our holiday before we arrived!
Arrived Friday midnight very tired after our journey to have a grumpy receptionist shout at us to close the reception door as he was cold (barely giving us time to get in before closing it)
very quickly noticed that the shower was filthy with mould on curtains,walls & shower base .!
Bed covers & sheets were soiled & quite clearly not clean on !
floors & furniture were dusty , drinking Glasses had stains of dirt on them .
Food was barely warm and in our view definitely not to Health & safety standards , table covers , milk fridge and eating areas were very badly covered in soiled food & drink causing them to go mouldy.
Reported all these problems to the Rep on our very first morning & she assured us that they were going to do a deep clean of our rooms etc ..only to be totally disgusted & annoyed to find that they done no cleaning at all & they only swapped the bed covers from one bed & put them on the next bed , as if we wouldn't notice the same dirt marks on them !!
The Rep asked us to give it a bit more time as a 3 star in Turkey isn't supposedly like a 3 star in 'Our country' ,we agreed to do this & spend our 2nd night in this hotel , but found nothing to get better ..food was still being served under the safety temperature for eating & cleanliness of eating areas were left as they were when we arrived.
we were all inclusive & yet we did not eat or drink in this Hotel after the first day & paid to go out to other venues to eat due to fears of the hygiene issues & catching a nasty bug !
next morning Sadly for us was a Sunday therefore the Rep informed us that she was going to get us moved to another Hotel but as it was Sunday the English offices were closed so we had to bare it & stay a 3rd night !!!!
We as a family of 7 were disgusted that we had to spend 3 Nights at this hotel before Paying an extra £750 to relocate to a different Hotel on the Monday !!!

One Good thing that I can pass on to anyone wishing to go here is that the Sea View was fantastic and it was in a great location for the Beach ..shame about the rest of it !

I have posted a few photos but I do have lots more & also have video footage of the extent of the mould and filth on the fridge & table cloths etc in the dining area & general hygiene of the hotel .

I just wanted to clear up a few things regarding this complaint, so to start at the beginning. I'm sorry if you found our receptionist grumpy but i can promise you he is one of the loveliest people and one of our most popular staff with other guests. his name is actually mentioned a lot on trip advisor in nice ways, so i can only assume that his broken english came across as rude.
regarding the room,when we heard you weren't happy with your room we immediately sent cleaners to go and clean your room and we were as surprised as you were that the room had not been cleaned and we trull apologise for this, somehow it was missed, there is no excuse for this and w humbly apologise however when our cleaners had finished the room was left spotless for you and beds were all fresh with clean sheets. we did also check over the dining area however it was spotless a with no signs of mould or food stains. we are sorry you did not enjoy our food as we get many compliments on our food. and yes we are a basic clean friendly hotel in marmaris and it is true that the star rating in Turkey is not like a star rating in England however we have many repeat guests that love to come here again and again but we do hope you enjoyed your holiday with the higher star hotel that you stayed at. many thanks for your review

went here in may 2014 for 7 nights...... the hotel is down what seems an back ally and has 2 buildings, 1st building has the reception area with seating area (this is the only place in the hotel you can get a internet signal);The other building has the dinning area . the bed room is v.v. basic with what looks like a hand built cuboard ( single ), room could do with a tidy up and modernising , exposed wires at the t.v. point. The handle came off the door to the veranda ( seemingly this happend in other rooms ). The shower flooded the toilet area every time you used the shower (seemingly this happend in other rooms ) the toilet door looked as if it came off of a skip and was all chipped and dirty looking., the hair drier kept on cutting out (seemingly this happend in other rooms ). they only changed towels every 3 days and beding , but did come in every day to tidy up. The food was ok /esspecially the soup s were good ....but not much choice . the pool bar in the corner was like a spare area made to look like a bar they only had 1 pump for beer and a few btls of boose and a coffee/tea and juice machine s to the side.( PLASTIC tumblers which looked well used ). the other outside bar was alot better but you had to pay for this bar when it opend in the evening. Only 1 evening of 30 min. entertainment, belly dancer which only lasted 15mins then she was off in a taxi, and 4 break dancers - they were good. Staff were nice and helpful and polite esspecially Aladan (daytime ),Trevor( nighttime ), and the cheif.Sorry but i would nt go back it s deffinately a 2 star not a 2 star plus.

Thank you for your review and we are sorry you didn't have a good time with us but i would just like to clear a few things up.
Firstly we are not based down a back alley as you put it, we are not on the main street but slightly set back down a lane, our guests like the fact that we are set back as its a little more private and you don't get so much noise pollution. yes we are a basic hotel however we are clean and friendly and we really do our best to give you good value for the little money you spend to stay with us. (£10 a night in the time you stayed) we do know that our furniture needs to be modernised however to do this our prices would need to go up dramatically and we feel that if we did this we wouldn't be able to provide holidays for the working class people, so modernisation will be done gradually one year at a time so we don't lose our valued return guests, however dated our furniture may be, it is clean and all in good working order, Towels are changed 3 times a week and bedding is changed 2 times a week and rooms are cleaned daily however if you want more towels all you need do is ask! If there was any problems with your room you could have called on reception and we could have dealt with any issues you had gladly. We have entertainment 1 night a week on a wednesday and this consists of 3 acts and lasts slightly over an hour depending on the acts. again we are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us but for the £10 a night you payed to stay with us in the beginning of the marmaris season we believe we give very good value for that money. thank you again for your review.

Hotel in good position food basic and not self service funny sort of all inclusive choice of wine beer pop brandy vodka gin or raki finishes at 10.30 prompt
Staff try hard
Rooms basic but clean Dennis on reception and Alex on cash bar great people up for selfies

Thank you for your review, we are glad you had a nice time with us, just wanted to explain why we don't have self service on the hot food counter, you can serve yourself on the salad bar and with soft drinks and coffee however for safety reasons we have a server on the hot food as we don't want any accidents however you can go up to the counter as many times as you like and our staff will always be happy to give you more, many thanks again for your review x

Been at this hotel several times but missed last year only due to a change in holiday destination. Every time we have been here the staff have been so accommodating in making our holiday a a great two weeks.. From the reception staff Denis to Ally and oscar on the bar.. The maids did our Room to a high standard.wondering if any of these staff are still there. !!!

we stay here in 2012 just got on trip advisor so here is what we thought of this hotel the room we had was on the end of the corridor 3rd floor it must have been a family room as it had two room which was very clean the food was ok I my self are a funny eater but I got by the pool is small but you can stay on the free if you drink with that bar etc ask 1st most are free. The roof top bar is great at night you can see for miles the staff are helpful you only have to ask. Would go again
