I have just returned from the Aegean Princess and had an excellent time. The rooms were large and very clean. The maid was in every day and changed our bedding and towels every other day. The kitchen area is very basic which could be a problem for those who want to cook but we found that we had everything we needed. Air conditioning is £50 for 2 weeks and the safety deposit box is £15.
We found the staff to be very friendly and extremely helpful. On our first day we found that our air con was leaking and somebody was up to fix it within 5 minutes of us reporting it to the reception.
The pool area is quite small and quite deep but I found it to be adequately sized for the hotel. There is a nice garden area with more sunbeds and cushions. I think that the apartments could do with having a few more sunbeds, that was probably the only down side.
The bar area was nice and the food served in the hotel was lovely although a bit more expensive than some of the local restaurants.
If you go out of the hotel, turn left and then right you will come to Tespos where you can buy bottles of water very cheaply.
There are a few nice bars and restaurants within 5 mins walk of the hotel. There is also a pretty good nightclub called Club Pacha and a crazy golf.
The hotel is a bit less than 15mins walk from the beach front and we didn't find the walk to be a problem at all.
If anyone is missing a good old english chippy while on holiday there is one 5 mins walk from the hotel at the Club Illayda which is a good place to stop off on the way home from a night out..
Overall we had a great time in Marmaris and if anyone has any questions about the apartments or the area feel free to ask.

some staff members were like sexual preditors with girls .three girls (all in there 20's)in next apartment to us had to be moved to another apartment as the turkish man on night duty went into their apartment and sexually assalted 2 of the girls. 4 other girls also made a report about the same man and he was only suspended for 2 weeks until us holiday makers that knew about the inccidents went home, because we reported it to the holiday rep the rest of the staff treat us terrible and would not speak to us for the rest of the stay. we were so glad to leave.
apartments basic 1 teaspoon between 4 of us and 2 cups, not enough cutlery for 4 people , we only had 2 chairs on the balcony and no table! asked if we wanted a sea view we couldnt even se the sea as its a good 30 minutes walk away from the apartments. on the whole a very dissapointing experiance would never go to marmaris or this hotel again.

we have stayed in this area of marmaris for years with friends from Scotland and always look for a relaxing place and the aegean princess was always a nice quiet place to stay, the rooms are lovely, nice and big with a great bathroom, although the cleaner was not the best we've had ,went 3 days without sweeping and i had to ask for the bed to be changed, the public areas of the hotel are spotless, the downside was the music if you can call it that, gangsta rap and garage which is full of foul language and not suitalbe for a family hotel, day and night at high volume, and the bar stayed open all night and i mean all night people drinking till 5am and then leaving their towels on sunbeds which the hotel does'nt have a lot of,it does have a nice garden area were we sunbathed,be warned if want to sit in the garden it's sort yourself out we had to get our own beds brollies and tables because the staff were to busy serving big john his breakfast beer, most of the staff are really nice ali the manager, adem and the two young lads were great, just a shame it was so noisey so take your ear plugs or request a room away from the bar.

Just arrived back from Turkey after staying in Marmaris at the Aegean Princess apartments. What a lovely clean place that was. The apartments had 2 single beds which we made up into a big double and a double pull down couch in the main kitchen dining part. There was only myself and my girlfriend stopping but it was more than big enough for what it was originally equipped for 3-4 people. The maids of the place surely did an outstanding job of keeping our room clean and stocked with fresh towels. The transfer from Dalaman airport is a little less than 2 hours, the tour operators stop off though so you can have a stretch of your legs, get a drink, have a fag etc, this is the same on your return to the airport.
Out side the Aegean Princess there are 2 supermarkets that literally sell everything you need, to the right of the entrance about 100 yards down is the main supermarket called Tespo which is 30% less than the ones outside the Princess. It is roughly about 15 minute walk to the beach which doesn’t feel like 15 minutes, we got lazy back end of the second week and got a taxi which works out at £3. There is so much to do though, you wont ever be stuck for somewhere to eat or drink, some places obviously are nicer than others, the nicer ones being the more expensive. There are bars restaurant and places to eat on every corner each with the same welcoming attitude. Ive been to a lot of places in my life but I have to say the Turkish are the nicest people ive met.
Outside the princess its about 5 minute walk and you can pick the shuttle bus up and for 65p it’ll take you into marmaris town. Where it picks you up on the top road again it has plenty of bars and restaurants. It even has its own club called Pacha which after 1am is booming, youd think you were in Miami. I haven’t a bad thing to say about the princess at all. I found it well worth the money, nothing at the Aegean Princess was at fault. Brilliant holiday, brilliant place and brilliant staff, it was a pleasure visiting Turkey and stopping at the Aegean. To be totally honest ive not done any work this morning for trying to find another holiday back to the Princess at the start of September. Anyone who has anything to complain about the Aegean Princess’s staff friendliness or cleanliness of the hotel has some serious mental issues. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks again for the fabulous holiday we wish we never had to come home x

This was my 3rd time to turkey but my first to marmaris.. well what an amazing holiday i had. I can definetly say this marmaris is x10 better than any other resort in turkey and i been to hisaranu and alanya . The hotel was a bit far out but the rooms were spacious and the food was great. We had such a buzz there cause all the staff were lovely.. big thanks all the staff, adem and especially little ayhan who was a genuine, lovely and helpful bloke. they were great with my kids who would have been bored otherwise. the people in marmaris are very friendly but i must warn the ladies that some men are quite flirtacious lets call them! however young ladies most certainly wont be bothered at this hotel, all the staff are 100% decent. oh i cant forget the maids, they worked so hard. thankyou to everyone who worked extra hard to give us a great hol

i defo reccomend jeep safari if u have kids and quad safari. kids can be bored at night i have noticed that... some bars offer free internet and wifi. this place is great... coming back this year it was so good. see u soon guys.

stayed here for 2 weeks in june it was a nice qiite place last year thats why we went again this year. what has gone wrong, loud ganster rap music till the early hours of the morning then the people who drink at the bar till 5 am put the towels on the sun beds near the pool and go to bed for the rest of the day, the garden area is nice but it gets very hot so you have to keep going in the pool to cool down the two young lads mesut and cockrill work very hard the rest of the staff are lazy and the maids just give you dirty looks so i will not be staying here again.
