Club Anastasia is a fantastic hotel. I travelled in a group of 9, we had two seperate self catering apartments. One room had capacity for 5, the other for 4. Apartments are smallish but have everything you need and are in no way basic. Our group were not fussed on Marmaris as a resort because we couldn't really find our bearings at all for the duration of our stay however the company and the hotel made up for it.

Ideally, you would not need to leave the hotel for anything. Pool games/fun starts at about 2pm each day. This includes childrens games, water volley ball and dancing. There is a fully functioning restaurant in the hotel called Bella Blu which has lovely food at a reasonable price. The pool side bar (The Havana Bar) also serves food during the day and the food is again lovely and reasonably priced.

We had a bad experience with the staff at the Havana Bar. The first two nights we were there, we ordered fish bowls. Literally, a fish bowl full of alcoholic cocktails. However on the third night when we ordered them, we didnt watch the bar staff making the fish bowl up and there was little to no alchohol in it. The hotels price for a fish bowl is quite expensive...50lira. You can get one in town for about 30lira or 35 lira so when we paid the more expensive price for less alcohol we were very annoyed. We explained this to the bar manager and all he offered was free shots. From then on in, certain members of the Havana Bar staff were quite rude to us. For example, leaving us standing at th bar without being served and then throwing the reciept book across the counter.

Also on another evening, we had been sitting at the hotels entertainment after being out shopping. We did not order any drinks but a bar man came up to us and told us that unless we bought a drink, the table would be taken from us because they need to make money. However, when we paid the price for the hotel, we paid for the entertainment so he had no right to threaten us with this. He was quite rude in his manner. We found that the barmen were pleasant in general but were even more pleasant and helpful to groups of single girs on holiday. They were quite ignorant to the rest of the customers in this sense.

Although the bar staff gave us a bad taste, the rest of our experince in Clud Anastasia was fantasitc. The reception and restaurant staff couldnt be more helpful, the rooms were cleaned daily and the maids were also very pleasant.

The hotel is not in the centre and is about a 10-15 min walk away...hard to do in 40 odd degree heat so if you get a taxi...expect to pay between 8-10lira...no more than ten though.

Just returned from 2 weeks in Club Anastasia and cant recommend it enough, the complex was clean and tidy with the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. The entertainment day/evening was very good and the Havana boys are first class. Their dancing with flares and fireworks is a show on its own.Had the turkish bath which is on-site and can highly recommend it. There is a jewellers at the pool (Te-Ta) run by Rico and Eddie, two of the nicest guys around where you can get some lovely jewellery at a good price. Bella Blu the restarunt attached to the hotel is a must with great food and a really friendly atmosphere. All in all a really good holiday and would definitely go back again.

Like so many, was a bit dubious about even going to Turkey - with no reason!
Club Anastasia was a wonderful place to stay, the holiday was really made by the 'Havana Boys' the all singing all dancing hard working Pool Attendants/Entertainers/Waiters etc They really go out of their way to make your stay feel very special. There's pool side entertainment all day long for all the family!
Make sure you go to the Turkish night....great food and great value for money....
On our arrival we got a very small room on the roof which was particularly hot and just too small for a family of 4 - though the Head Receptionist was quickly able to move us to a more suitable room the next day... this room was a better lay out and had a good balcony overlooking the reception area - still a little basic, but comfortable and very clean - regular towels and sheets etc and the surprise 'towel artwork' is worth wating for...
The sunbed culture means a 7.30ish start to get your towels out - but they will remove them if you abuse it - some folk put towels down and didn't show till after 11ish to find they'd no beds, and that's fair enough!
Anastasia operates a card only scheme to pay for things around the hotel which is very easily used - was a bit sceptical about this before we went - didn't need to be!!
10-15 mins to the beach, bartering for bargains was great fun and not as intimidating as you might think!
Watch your bills in the local restaurants - got diddled a few times! You can haggle with the restaurants for free kid's meals, but watch out for the 2 for 1 drinks, it's more like 2 for one and a half.... a lot of folk took up the in house half board option, we like to eat out tho, and the dolmus takes you into the heart of Marmaris for about 70p !! Tho the taxis can be dear if you need to go any distance - agree your price first!
Also, we were not aware of the strict weight allowances at Dalaman airport.... £12 for every kilo overweight....we just about made it, but with all your purchases be warned - your bargains might cost you more than you think!
Ladies, you'll love the Turkish Bath - if you want to get touched up by a Turkish hunk....guys you'll love the Turkish shaves (all in the hotel) if you want to get touched up.... joking, you'll really enjoy it for less than a fiver...
Eddie and Rico the on site Jewelers befriend everyone - and you can't help but fall for their charms....(sorry)
Club Anastasia is a great value holiday for all the family, would recommend it to anyone trying Turkey for the first time... nice mix of Norn Irish, Scots, Welsh and English folk early July and we made great some great friends....everyone saying they would go back again next year!!

We stayed at the Anastasia for the second time this year and will definately be returning next year. Its a great place to holiday if you have young children and want them to be kept entertained.
The rooms are a little small but are spotless, cleaned everyday.
The Havana boys work so hard to make everyones holiday great and the food in the Bella Blu is fantastic value for money (special thanks to Alattin & Jacob).
There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool and lots of entertainment during the day both kids and adults.
If you plan to do any trips book with Uncle Johns which is just a few doors away, he also offers pretty good rates on currency too.
Fantastic jewellery shop on site run by Rico and Eddie - I have brought jewellery twice now and haven't been disappointed.
