I am currently at the Club Dorado with my family, been here for 2 weeks and got 2 more weeks to go, We are having a great time, staff are friendly and helpful and we cannot complain about any of them, they all do their jobs well and mix with the guests equally. The hotel is spotless and the food is good, none of us have had a dicky tummy. The cups and glasses are always clean and availble and we have never had a problem with getting drinks at the bar during all inclusive hours. All in all a fantastic hotel and holiday. The sun is around the pool all day.

Room Tip: All rooms are equal, we have no complaints

Arrived early hours 9th october, friendly greeting.
Had about 2 -4 hours sleep maximum each night due to echoing noise and the local residents dog ( obviously this can not be helped).
Bar staff were friendly and work long hours.
Food was ok.
On our last day (15th october) we stored our cases in the room behind reception. My partner had his leather jacket tied around his case as we had late flights. Within the time of 4.30 to 5pm his jacket was stolen, the reception staff who was in charge was not able to operate the CCTV to check who had taken it. We asked to speak to the hotel manager being told he will be here later our transfer was due between 6.45 - 7.20. The manager would not be here in time. We asked for a letter headed document to prove the jacket had been taken from their hotel storage room this was declined. My partner insisted that the police were contacted we were told to visit them at their centre ... We would have missed our transfer and flights. People who are left in charge need to be able to access what they need n have some responsibilities. There were at least 10 other guest who were awaiting the same transfer who witnessed the lack of customer service! (Thank you to the other for all the assistance they gave us in trying to locate our stolen item)
Overall i would not stay again and would not recommend to anybody.

Dear Vicnjay13
Thanks for your review and the kind words about our food and drinks. We are very sorry about the loss of the jacket on your last day with us and we did everything possible to locate it including reviewing our CCTV coverage and informing you of our findings after you returned home. Sadly we were unable to identify any evidence of theft which we take very seriously. We will be reviewing our procedures and security for the coming season in light of this incident and hope that you will accept our apologies for the loss spoiling the last day of your holiday. After guests check-out we provide a courtesy storage area for luggage and in common with other hotels we offer this to guests free of charge but at guests own responsibility. We will make this clear with signage for the 2014 season.

We weren't too sure what to expect as our last trip to Turkey wasn't all that but after we settled in it turned out to be a fantastic holiday. Became friends with some of the guests and the staff were brilliant. Always on top form with serving and keeping the place tidy and most off all they interacted with the guests. For someone that hates eating abroad, the food was lovely and they're not selfish with the measures of vodka :) Highly recommend this place and will be going back myself next year :)

I only rate the fitness and spa centre poor because there isn't one but who cares :)

I will try to make this as unbiased as possible, I am not a snob but I have certain standards as to what I want from MY holiday and just trying to give advice to some like minded people who would not enjoy this hotel.
Stayed for 2 weeks from 28th September till 12th October
The hotel itself was clean and was well run, the staff were eager to please and the vast majority of the lads tried their best to speak to you in English as most of the guests were British. There have been several reviews stating that some of the guests were "rowdy", yes some were very loud but they were clearly enjoying themselves and please don't forget that they too were on holiday and they are also entitled to enjoy themselves in which way they please. I will give some good points, some bad points and some ideas on how to improve this hotel: -
Good points
The check in was swift and the reception desk was manned at all times.
The staff were very helpful, friendly and eager to please. The food was tasty and plentiful and all that could be expected from a 3 star AI hotel. The beer was (sometimes) good and the vodka, gin and raki was all that could be expected, The soft drinks were cheap but tasty fizz.
The chef does a good job with limited resources and we always found a good dish to eat at lunch and dinner (we ate 50% of the time at the hotel).
The room was large, basic but was no more than I expected from a cheap hotel.
The pool area was small but because of this you did tend to talk to other guests and was quite social.
Bad points
The hotel is very, very noisy. The rooms are in a rectangle around an open area in the middle on 5 floors; so all of the sound echoes around and is terrible in your rooms. Even when it seems quite quiet in the lobby area it is awful in your rooms.
Stag and hen parties are accepted and can be very loud at 05:00hrs
Due to the position of the hotel and the size of the pool area it is very hard to sunbath as the sun is behind the hotel, even when you found a sun lounger they were very tightly packed in and was not very comfortable to be there.
The pool was very cold and deep in all areas, I am 5 foot 10 and could just stand on the bottom.
The music played around the pool was sometimes extremely loud, so much so that there was no point in trying to listen to my I pod as it just overpowered my own music.
You had to be careful when walking around the pool area, I did see several people slip over and they were lucky they did not really hurt themselves.
Several times the staff cleaned around you, swishing buckets of water on the floor even wetting your feet and any bags that were on the floor, not good!
Ideas
Fill in the first floor area gap with some form of acoustic blind so that the echoes would not disturb the guests.
Have a set cleaning time for certain areas so the staff did not wet guests feet or bags when cleaning.
Install some "none slip matting" around the pool area (and in the room bath/shower area)
Label the food so guests know what it is
Have a fridge in the rooms
So, if you want a hotel where you can have a relaxing, quiet and peaceful time then this hotel is not for you. That is what I was looking for but didn't get.

Room Tip: Rooms with a pool view where bigger.

Dear eck2go
Thanks for your review. The first sentence seems to be aimed at those with a negative perspective! Happy to address both the good and bad points listed:
Good points were the food, drinks, check-in/reception services and the overall accommodation standard. The design of the hotel was also god allowing social contact to be made easily. That sounds like the vast majority of what is most important in a hotel to us. We are pleased about the positives regarding these.
Bad points
Noise, well we try and do our best to control that but as was stated in your review we have to respect people are on holiday and we must accept they have a right to let of some steam and enjoy themselves. Our pool is 1.65 meters deep all round and that is stated by markings around the pool. Tiles around the pool area have been upgraded to non-slip but we have to regularly advise guests not to run or dive around the pool area for safety reasons. Music around the pool is generally provided via small speakers behind the bar, not sure why those would have caused an issue but we take note and will reduce the volume in future to avoid disturbance.
The suggestions are helpful and some are already being implemented. We can’t do everything but we will endeavour to improve what is possible for next season. Food will be labelled, cleaning times will be notified on boards, non-slip matting is being investigated and other improvements like room fridges and flat screen TVs with UK channels are planned.
We are a lively hotel usually, not a Saga type property so thanks for your suggestions and we hope you select something more suited to your needs next time you book.

Kind regards
