Arrived at hotel with fast check in. Lovely clean spacious rooms. Good selection of pools. Staff were extremely friendly and hard working, brilliant service provided. Spa was an exceptional experience that we went twice during our holiday. Big shout out to Antonio. A true gentleman and a good friend.

The hotel location is very good near to the beach and to the center of Marmaris. Hotel facilities was in a very good level and room was spacious! Staff was very polite and ready to help us anytime! The pools very clean with nice and different activities every day. Food and snacks (we had all inclusive package) were very tasteful and very good quality. Marmaris is a very intersting place and very nice destination for holidays. Me and my family definitely will visit again Marmaris and Blue Bay Platinum!!

Got back from the Blue Bay hotel a few days ago and going to give a honest review, first check in was fast and and efficient and friendly which at the early hours of the morning was just what you need. when we booked we booked 2 x double rooms so my wife and i could have one and the other was for our two teenage children ,we hoped they they be next to each other however that was not the case they were a corridor apart so we thought we would leave it till morning and speak with reception to see if we could get anything closer, to our suprise they did much better than that they gave us a family room with two seperate sleeping areas one twin and one double with good size lounge area and bathroom!! Can not thank them enough for doing that they seem as they will do what they can if you ask nicely! The rooms were clean with pretty good storage and modern in appearance, the maids did quite a good job changing towels daily etc however beding only seemed to get changed couple of times during our ten night stay which i suppose may of been better but not going to moan to much. Some people on here have commented on carpets in the walkways to the rooms being stained which they are but i have seen worse, however being a 4 star thomson hotel you maybe should expect better. The hotel on the whole though is fantastic with impresive features four swimming pools that cater for all tastes, we spent most of our time around the pool with entertainment which kept us all laughing lots !! The animation team were incredible!! they work so hard at what they do and are very nice people, if you wanted to get involved they made you so relaxed and welcome and if you didnt want to take part they left you alone! I would like to thank the whole team for a fun filled time especially Edward and Mr Crocodile who had me in stitches with his banter (lets go its very easy game) which i may had it was'nt, however i did manage to win one of their much in demand T shirts !
We went all inclusive and got to say i was blown away at the standard of food in the time i was there i had sea bass, veal, sushi and fillet steak! plus lots of other superb dishes they even have a pizza oven that turns out huge fresh pizzas which are so tasty, there is lots of fresh salad and fruit plus a very good selection of sweet dishes. The drinks are good on the whole but mainly local with good selection even cocktails other branded drinks are available but are chargable, with your inclusive deal with thomson you get a chance to use one of the a la carte resturants which we did and i must say WOW amazing food and atmosphere! Must say a big thank you to Boris in the resturant what a great guy so helpful and kind works so hard, Nicola in guest relations is a lovely lady(from yorkshire) so knowlegable and helpful and kind thank you and last of all Paula the thomson rep who was so nice and very helpful and does a fantasic job thank you .
On the whole we had a fantastic holiday and i would recommend this hotel highly, yes there are little things that could be improved but to me if your after a good holiday you can not really do much better than Blue Bay. Andrew from Staffordshire.

Arrived early hours on the 9th August all seemed ok checked in fine staff friendly.

Room, well ok at first but in the morning found various issues. I will list them shortly.

WE ALL work hard for our money and our holidays are special times we spend together as a family as we all do. IM writing this review with this purely in mind to give you an honest review and to think before you book.

I'm going to start with the good -
1. The sunshine PERFECT
2. IL Promo restaurant Great - very tasty
3. Some restaurant staff plus barman in the lobby
4. Location good plenty of bars and restaurants.

The bad -
1. The rooms very dirty mould and hair in the bathroom, I went to the local shop and purchased bleach, scrubbing Brush and tub of bathroom cleaner MR. Muscle and gave it a good clean as complaining fell on deaf ears. The mattresses had stains on them so did the mattress protectors very poor. There were stains on the walls which were never touched as I wanted to see if the cleaner would do anything, no chance.
2. Restaurants - food would be ok ish for a week but was repeated most days the ready prepared meals in the evening were ok but at times they were cold not good.
3. Pool areas not clean in particular the quiet pool they never washed the floor area and the tables there were coffee stains and cold drinks spilt and never cleaned one morning there were wasps around the beds enjoying the spilt drinks.
4. The lifts were very dirty stained and you could see where someone had spat on the door, at the pool level there were various chemicals that could easily be handled by small children very dangerous as they left the lifts.
5. The Russians. Very rude they would push in whether at the bar or restaurant I know this is normal for them but there are so many at this hotel it drove us mad.
6. This hotel is too big for us so many people queuing to much Hustle and bustle well over a thousand people to contend with.
7. Private beach a joke dirty and not suitable for family's stay away.
8. Room fridge never filled and what ever you put in it, it never got cold.
9. Toilets around pool areas disgusting the smell was terrible.
10. Entertainment well a joke very poor and repeated if you stay two weeks you get to see the poor acts twice. The team of about 12 and the leader a Kojak look a like was a rude sexiest prat who loved himself.
11. Wifi kept failing so I went to reception only for the rude fat man to say well what can I do and got aggressive.
12. Corridor and hallway carpets disgusting and stained.
13. Drains in the bathrooms smelt of sewage as other rooms flushed there toilets it past down the soil stack in your room and sent a strong smell through the floor and shower drainage as the were no u bend traps fitted so you could smell the drains.

This is never a Platinum hotel and we would never consider going back even if it was our only option. If you want a real platinum go to the Belcekiz Oludeniz this is a proper hotel.

PLEASE consider carefully before you book I know this is hard for you as their are so many good reviews but I have taken many photos and will be sending them and complaining to Thomson's as evidence of our stay was poor.

Went with my friend and two young sons, lovely modern and clean hotel, spa and gym great, the staff are amazing and friendly (room service lady for room 2310 was rude) drinks and food always available and plenty of it (except the ice cream bar) it was so good we never left the hotel as there was always something to do, this is a amazing family hotel, grumpy older people might not like it, the entertainment staff were so nice and friendly. The majority of the staff are great at their jobs! Plan on going back! I would advice you to be all inclusive, I was and I hardly spent a penny! They have everything on offer. Amazing value for money! And a safe environment for people with kids!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the blue bay for 1 week from 7th August and loved every minute. I had never done an all inclusive holiday before. I always had a negative impression of all inclusive holidays (probably given from watching ITV's "Benidorm"!) but I can honestly say I am now converted.

We arrived around 3am and were greeted by friendly reception staff. There was a sandwich and water waiting for us which was a nice touch. We stayed in room 2211 which had a nice view of the quiet pool. It was a twin room so we pushed the beds together; after the first day the maid had wrapped a sheet around the beds to secure them together, which was very thoughtful and attentive. The only issues we had with the room were the mattresses and pillows as we found them to be quite hard. The room was clean, bright and nicely decorated. The bathroom was nice and the shower was very good. The hairdryer worked really well.

We stuck to sunbathing at the relaxed pool during the week which had a nice atmosphere. The other pools were livelier with games and entertainment put on by the animation team. The staff at the relaxed pool bar were friendly, and the area was kept clean and tidy. The snack bar is based near the lively pools. Ice cream and waffles were served between 3 - 4.30; the queue is big at first so go after 4 (the younger girl gives you 2 scoops to try to get served by her!)

The food in the restaurant was amazing! Breakfast gave you the option of a full English, pastries, cereals, yoghurt, toast, meat and cheese and fruit. Lunch included pizza flatbread, different types of pasta, salad, soup, breads, rice, and stews. Dinner again had loads of choice; you were pointed to "special food" which was beautifully plated up already (rolled chicken, stir frys, curry, fish and chips etc...) or you could go to the hot buffet. The starter/salad station again was beautifully made and presented. The deserts were unbelievable!! Look out for the mini crumbles, cheesecakes and tiramisu. We tried the a la carte "il primo" on the Monday night, and it was gorgeous!

On an evening we liked to sit in the area at the back of the hotel above the Cuba bar for a couple of drinks. It was relaxed and tastefully set out. The bars had 2 "cocktails of the day" each day, and had a good selection of local spirits. The cocktails in the Cuba bar were something special though, so treat yourself to one (they cost 12-15 lira) It would have been nice to have some live acoustic music in this area for those of us that found the animation team entertainment to be a bit cheesy! But they did work hard and some guests loved it. We went onto the beach strip for a few drinks most nights. It was a short walk down the steps from the Cuba bar and over the road. We loved a bar called Bianco's as they had live music every night and a great atmosphere.

The spa in the hotel is stunning. A man called Kasim sells spa treatments around the pool, but he is not pushy and very nice. I got a "bronzing treatment" for £40 which included a Turkish bath, scrub, fish pedicure, face back, and full body massage with bronzing cream. It took about 1 1/2 hours and it was amazing. Well worth the money. We used the gym twice; it's small but has treadmills, steppers, a bike and weights.

For those of us that had late night flights there was unfortunately no option to keep your room, or book time in a shared room to shower and change before the flight. Some people therefore spent their last day in reception waiting for their transfer. We booked onto a Thomson excursion on the last day called the "dalyan check out". We got picked up at 8, went to a mud bath, the rock tombs, turtle beach, then to a hotel close to the airport for dinner and a shower. The hotel wasn't very nice, but our last day wasn't waisted and we were closer to the airport.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are fantastic. We would defiantly return. Thank you Blue bay for a fantastic holiday!
