“Loved the Hotel-Loved Turkey-Loved it All !!”

I'm fussy and always have high expectations and I wasn't dissapointed. This is the most beautiful setting of any holiday we have been on. It's not a hotel it's a complex of lovely little chalets nestling on a private island. The photos in the brouchure do it no justice at all. We went on the evening speed boat trip and it was fabulou; the highlight for both of us..... Ok the food isn't quite as good as a Riu, but it's still excellent, the waiters don't wear waistcoats to serve you, as someone has commented before !! but it's not that kind of complex and it would be out of place here; think relax.

You don't even have to leave if you don't want to there are loads of activities to do on site..We went on some trips, which were brilliant but if we hadn't we wouldn't have spent any money.

We only go home last night and yes I would go again definatley.

Do be careful if you don't like walking as some of the rooms are difficult to get to, but there's always the golf cart to take you !. We love walking so got a high room with veiws to die for.

Room Tip: If you're using a hotel hairdryer, and the button you have to hold down annoys you- take a small...

This was our first time to Turkey and on a couples holiday, it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived we were taken care of; all the staff were friendly and polite, the environment was relaxed throughout, the weather and scenary were beautiful, an impressive buffet display catered for all, activities and facilities were suited to all ages. Our aim of the holiday was to relax for the week so we only ventured out into Marmaris vía the taxi boat a couple of times to shop and have a drink. As a couple in our early twenties we would fully recommend this holiday to everyone and like every other guest we've spoken to are agreeable in wishing to return to this hotel in the future.

This is the perfect location if you want to have peace and quiet and have a relaxing holiday. It's about 15-20 minute bus ride to Marmaris at a very good price to get there, collecting you from the front gate of the hotel and dropping you back there.

The rooms were nestled in the trees on the hill, so a bit of a workout to get up to our room, which was one of the highest rooms, but it’s worth it for the view you get from the balcony. You can lie in bed and look out the bay to Marmaris and the mountains around. The lower rooms are nestled in the trees too, but by the looks of it you don’t get as good a view. When we arrived, they took you up to the room in golf buggies and also collected you and your luggage when you had to leave. Everywhere was kept very clean. Rooms were cleaned daily and we had a surprise coming back to the bed sheet in a bow shape with flower petals nicely arranged.

We were there for a week and could have easily spent the whole week there just chilling out. There are so many areas that you can be so it’s not repetitive and the same atmosphere. There is the beach, a pier and decking area, an activity pool (where there was a daily quiz and water polo) and a relax pool. There is also a well being area where there are hammocks and bean bags set up in the trees on the sea front. You can make the holiday as active or inactive as you want.

There is a water sports area where the guy who owns in (Strong Man) looked after you well. There are many activities that you can do there from jet skiing to the rings and you are able to hire out a speed boat for as long as you want to explore the coast and bays. We took this out for 5 hours and it was so relaxing as there are many quiet bays to drop anchor and go for a swim. On site there is a small gym which has the main things you’d need there to work out, the heaviest dumbbell was 20kg. There were well being classes available like Pilates and you could also play football, basketball, table tennis, tennis and archery and also go mountain biking.

The food there was really good. A buffet for all meals with plenty to choose. The waiting staff couldn’t do more for you and very polite. They would bring you drinks or you could get them yourself at the couple of bar areas. There is a selection of fruit juice, soft drinks, and a local beer and wines. If you wanted to you could eat most hours of the day! There is a snack bar that serves more hot food, like pizza and burgers, as a late lunch. There are a few bars spread around at the main areas like the beach and pools. There is a selection of cocktails at the breeze bar by the pool.

To have a look around the local area, we got the bus into town and found a place to rent a scooter. This was a good deal at 30 Turkish Lira (TL) for the day! This is a great way to cover a larger area and cheaper than the taxis out there which charged about 30 TL to get to Marmaris from the hotel!

We would greatly recommend this hotel and would go back again.

Room Tip: The higher up you were the better the view you got, but be prepared to walk up a few steps, about 10...

We are sat in reception lobby waiting for our transfer back to the airport, hoping they don't turn up so we can stay for another week!
Our holiday was a last minute booking and I have to say I nearly missed the holiday due to the initial picture on the Thomson web site as it really doesn't show the beauty of the place. It really is a gem of a hotel. The staff are so polite and we've never had a language issue, rooms are spotless, the grounds are kept immaculate and are a credit to the gardening team who work hard to keep the area looking so beautiful. The food is plentiful and delicious, there really is something for everyone and I'm quite a fussy eater. I had no trouble finding yummy things to eat, my only problem is I need to visit the gym every day to burn it all off now! Our waiters Kadir and Faith always greated us with a smile and Faith taught us new Turkish words everyday.
The evening entertainment is well done, it's not a club 18-30 raves every night and the entrainment is geared to Couples, we especially enjoyed the Cinema in the amphie theatre.
We didnt go on any excusions other than the dolmus into marmaris, as we were only staying one week but we did join in some of the onsite group activities such as the daily quiz, cocktail making and archery, which were all enjoyable especially the archery which we went back for a few times. We can highly recommend booking a slot with the hotel photographers, they are really lovely chaps and produce wonderful pictures and a keep sake with out any 'sales pressure' to buy.
The spa is wonderful and definitely worth a visit, we had the 'sweet couples program' which was £150 for the two of us, for a whole morning of treatments it really does work out good value and a thoroughly relaxing way to start your holiday.
I can not recommend this holiday enough, if you are reading this with a view to booking it........ Just do it, you will not regret it.

Room Tip: We were in room 111 which was a suite, amazing location right next to reception. There was never any...

I thought we would never return to the same hotel, but we had to it was even better this year. Thoroughly enjoyable. We enjoyed everyday, waking to blue sky, we arrived June 21st even had same room as last year. We were amazed at how many said they were there on second visit. Recommend sunset boat ride from hotel, most enjoyable way to see the lovely Turkish sunset. The staff were lovely Ceylan in the restaurant looked after us superbly. We said will be back maybe in September, but definitely next year hope to meet up with all our return friends. Just a shame we had to come back to England and the rain and grey sky. Kettle and friidge in room, just wish we had ice making in fridge could of stayed on balcony. Fantastic views peace and quiet best of all no screaming childreb. BRILLIANT. See you all again

We have just got back this morning after a wonderful 10 days at this hotel, the weather was hotter than last year but there is always plenty of shade and the food has been fab so varied. The people that leave negative reviews I feel would not be happy anywhere if they can grumble about this place it really is the best place we have stayed and we will be returning for our 3rd visit next year. You will not be disappointed it really is a magical place. Go and enjoy every minute :)

Room Tip: We requested a low room and asked for the same room this year and got it

Just returned from an idylic 14 days stay in the Marmaris Imperial. I think we have at last found the Garden of Eden. The setting is fantastic with tranquil gardens, secluded rest areas, cooling breezes & fantastic views. The staff are all extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. The food standards are extremely high and I can honestly state that the quality, freshness and choice of foods is fantastic from exciting salads, fruits, pasta dishes, fish & meats and much more as well as very exciting and tasty local cuisine. The complex is approx 9 km outside of Marmaris but the local bus runs from 8am -11.30pm, every 15 minutes & is very cheap at approx £2.50 round trip. Can recommend the excursion to visit Rhodes Old Town as well as taking the water taxi to Ichmeler market (Wednesdays) if you like to grab a bargain, absolute shoppers paradise. If you can't find it here you'll not find it anywhere. Looking forward to our next visit.
