We arrived at 12.30 a.m. on 1st July, we were quickly booked in & taken to our room on the top floor, & what a room. Plenty of space with twin beds, a fantastic double shower room, good wardrobe space & all spotlessly clean. We had a sea view & even in the dark there is a fab view along the promenade to Marmaris port.
We stayed here on half board.
For breakfast there is a huge choice of Cereals, Fruit, Cheese, Pastries , Hot dishes, plus Omlettes & fried eggs cooked to order. Try the yogurt with honey, mmmmm. We ate on the terrace above the pool facing the promenade & the beach, but there is another terrace at the back of the Marbella in the shade.
Dinner is an experience with a huge choice of food which was never repeated. This included Sushi, hot dishes & i counted a choice of 34 desserts plus fruit & plus ice creams, fantastic.
The hotel is very, very clean throughout & the pool area is mopped late every afternoon as this is also used as the dining area.
The Blue Flag beach has loads of beds with parasols & was never crowded. Food & drinks can be ordered & brought to you from the pool bar.
The staff here are all polite & friendly & nothing is to much trouble for them.
The Marbella is towards the Icmeler end of Marmaris but only a short walk from the bars & shops. Marmaris port is in the opposite direction, just a short Dolmus ride away.
We went on a boat trip bought locally which we boarded on the beach, & crewed by a family who also cooked a very tasty lunch.
We did the walk along the promenade to Icmeler & back, our tip take plenty of water but catch a Dolmus or Water Taxi back, its 10k or 6.5 miles, phew.
The weather was fab reaching 44 degrees at midday & 29 at 11pm.
We had a fantastic time & cant wait to go back.

Room Tip: Book a seaview.

We have just returned from our annual family holiday and honestly this is the best hotel room I have ever had. We stayed in one of the family rooms (the one just under the Marbella sign) WOW what a lovely room and spacious. The view was breathtaking and could look both sides of the hotel. In the morning sunshining through with the sound of the sea, beautiful. Extremley clean hotel, before we went I read some of the reviews and everyone was saying the same( how great) so thought sounds to good to be true, but honestly it was great. Very clean and modern. staff really friendly, pool a bit small but ok and the sea is behind, and lots of sun beds, there is a beach boy who looks after the marbella section and will get you your drinks and food. The. most comfortable bed I have ever slept in

LOCATION - Great location on the beach and many, many restuarants either side, about 30 minutes from main Bar Street/Harbour. Supermarket MIGROS is about 10 minutes behind hotel on the main road. and about 20 minutes from Icemeler. Marmaris is a busy spot, restuarant near by had entertainment everyday so once we came back at night, just listened to them.

MARKETS - Tuesday on main road behind hotel, be pre paired to be hasseled, just say no thanks and keep walking, but really haggle you can them down to a quarter then the first price, my daughter wanted a braclet which was priced at 100 lira and after a bit of haggling we got it down to 30lira BARGAIN.

The weather was perfect, went on a boat trip to Dalyan mud bath and turtle beach - was great saw one turtle which was ok, the mud bath was good but really smelly but a great day out. my husband had a turkish shave for 10 lira which is £3 and they even done his ears/nostrils and eye brows. Funny to watch and a great experience for him.

What a great holiday hotel stunning, weather fantastic, remember you will be pestered walking about to go into shops, restuarants and booking trips but no thanks should do it. Very cheap place to eat and do things. I am already looking at going back again next year. Never really fancied Turkey, but can see why people go back year after year great weather and cheap.

The Marbella hotel is very clean, modern and In a great location right on the beach of Marmaris.

We stayed half board for one week and found the breakfast buffet very good with lots of choice. The dinner buffet also offered lots of choice with freshly cooked food and lot's of desserts.

The bar staff/ waiters were very attentive and seemingly took no time off to make sure we had everything and we felt very looked after.

The beach, although covered in small stones, was spacious and we had no trouble getting a sun lounger.

View was great, weather was hot all week and we would go again tomorrow.

This is our second tome in marmaris and we went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This hotel was the perfect place for the occasion, located right on the beach, very modern decor ( hotel only recently been refurbished ), swimming pool is nice although not very large and there were always
sunbeds available. Hotels private beach is quite big and very clean.
Food is good, we especially enjoyed
breakfast, if you go half board
dinners are tasty and good selection but can be a
bit repetitive. Staff are amazing, especially the bar staff. The will go extra mile for you and are very friendly. Overall, great place, enjoyed our stay very much.

I stayed here with my wife, 3 grown up children and my daughters boyfriend for 1 week at end of June. We had 2 family rooms and 1 twin room. From start to finish, it was the best family holiday we have ever had. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily. The maids were always smiling and friendly. In fact all staff were friendly - without exception. Especially Tom in the bar and Freddy in the Restaurant. Tom makes a point of remembering everybody's names and couldnt be more helpful. Freddy teased and joked with us every day, adding to the eating experience every evening.
The food was probably the best we have ever eaten at a hotel - and we have stayed at some of the best hotels over the years.
The choices were incredible - even including sushi dishes on some evenings, and some rarities like Samphire.
There was no problem with getting a sunbed on any day and the week was the most relaxing I have had. I would certainly return there without hesitation next year.

Room Tip: Asak for a family room on the top (4th floor)
