On arrival to our hotel at Princess Kinli Hotel, around 11pm, we were shown to our room. After ten minutes the manager moved us to another room as the gentleman, Erol, had allocated us to the wrong room. On entrance to the 2nd room I immediately noticed a cockroach on the floor and Erol had backed away and leaped over the balcony and entered the next room via the back door. He moved us again and offered us a free drink in the bar to apologise or the inconvenience. We accepted the offer and went down the bar. Whilst we were there we noticed a lot of cockroaches on the floor and around the pool. Not long after, we discovered cockroaches all around the bar, liquor bottles and around the pool. We felt very uncomfortable, so decided to go to bed after a long day of travelling. Back at the room I looked around. The bathroom was smaller than 2 metres wide and very cramped. The “shower” was a shower head and when I turned it pointed over the toilet. There was no drain visible until I moved the toilet brush over the other side of the bathroom to discover a small hole in the floor filled with water. Obviously this was where the water was to drain after a shower and as it was already filled with water neither of us had a shower that night at the risk of flooding the room. I inspected our facilities, as we were self catering. We had a 2 burner hob with a loose knob and one was also missing. The fridge was warm and inside was mouldy and rusty. We didn’t even have a kettle! The plug sockets were loose and screws were missing. I didn’t feel safe leaving our luggage at the hotel while we were out as the back door wouldn’t lock. After half an hour of being back in the room we went to bed. When I pulled back the bed covers there appeared to be tiny dead flies on the pillow. I assumed this was because the windows were all open when we got there. After 20 minutes sleep I woke up to hearing my friend screaming. A cockroach had fallen from the wooden slatted ceiling onto her whilst she was asleep and she woke to see it on her arm. The wood looked warped and damp. From 12am until 7am we sat on the balcony as this seemed to be the only place we could go without seeing cockroaches coming from underneath the sofa and the fridge. All night we could hear the back door of the previous room banging open and closed. At 7am we walked to the beach and wasted time until 12.30pm for the arrival of our rep, Mark Emery, at 12.45pm. On his arrival I expressed my concern about the above matter. Without delay he came into investigate and confirmed that all the above were indeed problems. He asked me to fill in a complaints form and I had stated all the problems above. He also happened to drop into conversation that a holiday maker who departed a few days before our arrival had mumps. I was disgusted that we hadn’t been told by the transfer rep on the arrival to the hotel. Immediately we made the decision to request to move hotels. Mark said that the cockroaches are about because of the weather and the time of year. I beg to differ was we didn’t see any outside of the hotel and when we asked locals and other holiday makers they said they had no problems with infestations in their hotels. From 1pm on Monday 27th until 6pm mark had been making calls backwards are forwards with his manager finding us alternative accommodation and suitable prices. While waiting for a call back mark had been to see the manager to ask her to sign the complaint form to say that the problem had been recorded and we could hear her arguing with mark. She was telling him that we were over-reacting. She didn’t even come up to the room to identify the problem for herself or to see the cockroaches that we’d caught under a bowl. We were finally offered the Romance hotel for £480.00. We reluctantly paid the amount we began making our own way to the romance hotel with our luggage. Admittedly mark as very help and understanding.

Room Tip: the rooftop room so if you have cockroach they arent outside

just back from princess kinli hotel family run hotel that just seems to be hattie. we booked under the impression that it was mesut or we wouldnt of booked.the hotel was left unsupervised most times my cousin asked for a fanta lemon and hattie and erol thought it ok to give orange without asking.we have been going to this hotel for 9 years now and recomended it to others most of my family had rooms 2 years ago for my daughters wedding .the last week of our holidays there wasnt even a table free for the paying guests as it was hatties birthday and they were all placed together and set.the hotel itself is filthy and the poolside itself was only washed down once the two weeks we were there.there is no chance of getting a drink b4 you go to bed as the night man cant speak english i got my family a drimk and made a note of it a good hotel just being run down .we will never be back.

just been to the kinli it was supposed to be lisa and mesut but alas it was hati, this woman is going to run the hotel into the ground she has no interest in the guests, quite often she went out and errol always did a vanishing act so we couldn,t buy a drink and hati,s son is a spoiled brat who took over the pool table with his friends. i asked for vodka and was given bacardi because she had run out of vodka i wasn,t asked if this was suitable and i had to pay for it even when i left it on the table. some of the sockets didn,t work and the landing light went out and wasn,t fixed until the next day . liked this hotel but now it,s time to pick something else.

first of all when you arrive you will see a puddle, well thats what i thought it was, however it actually turned out to be the pool, but hey, i can live with that.
the dirty scruffy waiter who is also the pool cleaner, and the chef (wouldnt let the dirty scruffy ***** cook my food i can tell ya) he was always asleep on the sunbeds near the puddle cos he was out all night partying with the hotel guests. his name is errol and he is the most filthiest person ive ever come across
the hotel seems to be all one click with the majority longstayers who dont like anyone else who they dont know, which can sometimes make you feel rather uncomfortable
would never return to this hotel ever again

a small family orientated place had no problem with staff at all but the apartments need updating and very soon really outdated and in bad repair pool is fine but only gets sun until approx 3pm never had a problem with getting a sunbed owners seem to cater for returning guests asked for a room change we wr in the 3rd floor studio very small and cramped never got changed although some guests whocame after arrived were moved to bigger apartmenst pool facing but seemed to know staff and owner like i said she seened to prefer returning guest . seems a bit unfair considering the price we paid wasnt cheap good location tho and other guest very freindly even tho some did stay at pool area until the early hours but didnt make that much noise
