“Great Hotel, Great Staff, Going back next year, ignore the negative reviews”
Reviewed 19 September 2013

First of all, I really am clueless to where these bad reviews are coming from, nothing at all like what we experienced, first of all.. if you want 5 star luxury then book a 5 star hotel and pay the premium for it, secondly, if you go round hunting for problems, your gonna find some, in ANY hotel, and third, if you treat the hotel staff like crap or with your nose stuck in the air then your not exactly going to get 1st class service.

Went here for 10 nights (1st - 11th Sept) with my brother purely for a getaway from home, we had a brilliant time here, so much so that we'll likely stay again next year.
Firstly, the Staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, nothing was ever too much trouble, all very friendly, always chatting with you about everything and nothing, they work very long hours so i heard and you would never tell with the way they treat you, always smiling. They even did us a few favours on a couple of occasions (when they didn't have to). Our particular thanks go to the hotel owner, Ismail, what a top bloke. Also thanks to Oz, the receptionist and the bar staff, our hol' wouldn't have been the same without them, quality people.

Turkish night was hilarious (20 Lira - well worth it), my brother ended up getting the rough end of the belly dancer and ended up 'grinding' on another lad, random, (if anyone reading this has a video/photo of that i'd love a copy purely for the comical value), email me on here.

The hotel itself, rooms are good condition and as expected, good size balcony's, decent sized rooms, fridge, cleaned well and regularly. Pool area is clean, huge pool, plenty of room for everyone, good amount of loungers, one section of the pool is in the shade for a few hrs through the day, but this is not a bad thing in the blistering heat, if your a sun worshipper though there's plenty of beds in the sun all day long. Good atmosphere round the pool, met some great people. Free Wi-Fi is available in the hotel lobby with sofa's etc.

Our room in particular had an amazing view over the beach, mountains, and overlooking the pool. The Hotel is located in an ideal location, directly adjacent the beach, loads of bars and restaurants surrounding it, and a short easy bus ride along the promenade to the wilder end if you want some crazy nights, (although you can walk it if you want) everyone uses these little buses, every 3 or 4 minutes, 2 Lira, green bus one way, orange the other, simples.

Can't comment on the food because we always ate out.

Overall, deffo worth a stay, DON'T let the bad reviews put you off... Loads to do, the turks make sure you have a good time, good hotel location, clean, and in particular, great service... Get it booked !!

I checked in at this hotel on the 9th sep 2013 and her is what I find
Some costumers they don't care about the room that much, just they need a place to sleep, but am different so lets start:

Very rude staff:
I never saw a rude staff like these people, I ask for extra bed cover at 10 pm the boy on the reception (( I can't give you, come back tomorrow )).

The tube in the bathroom leak and all the bathroom with water and I try to talk to the house keeping to find me someone to fix and again(( tomorrow ))

The beach is nasty , full of Cigarettes and stones and sharp broken glass.

The Carpet is nasty too I'll upload some pics and let you see what am talking about.

The hotel far a way from the center.

I don't recommend this hotel for no one , its 1 star hotel not 4 stars at all, and I would love to tell the turkish people just one thing:

We stayed here after walking out of our booked apartment as it was awful, walked into here and they did us a great b&b deal, the room was big had a bath as well as shower air con and was cleaned every day, the pool. Was nice, we were also near the beach and on the main area for restaurants and bars, the hotel is a 3 star o don't expect 4 star qualities but the staff make you feel very welcome and I would recommend this hotel,

Dirty bed sheets on arrival and told they will be changed every 3 days-they weren't. On arrival, towels were filthy, were changed every 2 days for an exchange of filthy towels, covered in stains. Shower spat out water and was not in working condition.
Brochure stated air con was included, that was a ripoff. On arrival we discovered there was a charge.
Chips, beans and some tasteless processed meat and grease for breakfast.
Reception staff extremely rude and arrogant, liked to pretend they don't understand English in order to not have to do any work.
The fridge and TV were out of order. When we mentioned to staff twice, the reception girl jotted things down on paper, but nothing was done. The jotting was done clearly for show.
One sour-faced girl at reception leapt out of her chair and almost had a fit when she saw one of us take a bottle of water upstairs. Hotel should buy a water cooler with their boll***s 4stars.
Overall, worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Bad service toward guests, appalling staff, food and cleanliness atrocious. Will not be returning to this hotel. Ever.

Me & my boyfriend recently stayed at mydream. We enjoyed our whole holiday, room was clean, we had no problems, great pool area, turkish night was hilarious.
The only one thing I would mention was that on our way home we didn't get picked up from the hotel until 7pm at night, but had to be out of our room by 12pm. We spoke to a receptionist who told us there was nowhere to leave our cases, no shower room, and that she didn't know if we could pay to keep our room as the manager wasn't there and he had left his mobile so she couldnt even call him.
When she eventually spoke to him, apparently the hotel was full so we had to leave. Luckily we had met other people and managed to leave our cases in their room and get a shower. If not we would of had to sit from 12-7pm in the hotel lobby with our cases. Massive problem.

Before that we had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoted ourselves.

Just got back from Turkey and had a great time! Plenty of activities to keep yourself occupied, great reception from the Turkish people (extremely accommodating and will bend over backwards to get that tip from you!) great food (if you go to the right places!) and some fantastic deals to be had... the only problem was that the drink was on par with or slightly more expensive than in the UK.

Our Hotel... We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, great location amongst the strip, right next to the beach and a good welcome from the reception. Nice enough looking decor and clean !

Room... Your standard holiday room, had to push the beds together to make a double bed but other than that the bathroom was nice and it was clean and the balcony was great and very spacious. You have to put the key into the socket in order for the electricity to work meaning that the fridge turned off when you were out the room. Nothing to moan about though...

Pool... small to medium sized pool. Did the job and had music playing and a bar for drinks, snacks, meals etc. Only problem with the pool was that the hotel is sandwiched between two larger hotels which means you only get full sunshine from 10.30am till 4.30pm. Unless you move your sunbeds about. Overall a relaxing atmosphere and again not much to moan about there.

Restaurant... This was a bit of a disaster. The breakfast was rather horrible, the meat was extremely strange and processed, a pinky, reddy, purply colour (inedible), the eggs looked like those duck fetus eggs people eat on shows like I'm a Celebrity and Fear Factor etc. the beans were strange and the chips soggy. Chips for breakfast as well, that's a little bit odd. I resorted to cereal after the second day. The Mrs just stuck to bread and jam which was pretty much as solid as bread and jam can be. I'd recommend popping across the road to The No Name Bar and grabbing yourself a full english for £1.75! Can't really go wrong with that.

Moving onto tea... This was slightly more acceptable, decent enough chicken but again stay away from their processed meats. Not good. The salad and fruit were nice and fresh. Butttt overall the thought of tea puts a slight nauseous feel in my stomach (I reckon I liked it as I was comparing it to the dismal breakfast - so on it's own it was definitely below average) again I'd recommend you go to one of the local restaurants or get the bus to the marina (only 5 minutes away) and treat yourself.

They also had a menu that you could order from, I didn't try this as I'd rather spend money on food outside the hotel so can't really comment on this. Some of it looked reasonable enough though!

Facilities (gym etc.) ... can't comment on these as I was a lazy bum this holiday.

Next, the thing that annoyed me THE MOST... Me and the Mrs had a fair few excursions booked plus in the night we sometimes had ourselves a dry throat, what with the alcohol we were drinking. So we thought it a good idea to pop to the local shop and get ourselves some bottles of water, couldn't be dehydrated n all and I didn't fancy none of that nasty tap water...I came walking into the Hotel and through reception with the crate of water on me shoulder and next thing this nutter receptionist got up from her seat, ran around the desk and confronted me and started kicking off. 'You not allowed this!', 'You buy from Hotel!' she actually blocked my path. Obviously I didnt appreciate this and explained why I had the water, she then said 'if you thirsty in the night then you go down to the bar and get a drink', I lol'd in her face and told her 'not to be ridiculous', again she argued and made quite the scene. I however didn't agree with their rules, ignored her rants, told her to go away and carried on up to my room. Now I agree with the rule 'no food or drink from outside of the hotel to be brought into the pool area' that's quite fair. However the rule 'no food of drink from outside the Hotel to be brought into the Hotel' was totally absurd. Angering in-fact. The next day we awoke to fresh signs around the Hotel reiterating their iron fisted rule. Quite pathetic really. This obviously made me rebel and bring more 'contraband' into the Hotel. Seem's your oppressive rules backfired this time My Dream!

So from then on it made it very awkward between us and my new receptionist nemesis.

But don't get me wrong, generally the staff were very nice! Just that one idiot.

So overall the Hotel did the job, good location, good room, decent pool. However it was a shame that the food was as bad as it was and a shame about that stupid rule and the one receptionist that tried to enforce it.
