For families with children who just want a hotel holiday this would be ideal, most people enjoy the food but the all inc bar choice is limited, location is not great and seems to have two addresses ,for the same hotel ,as this is the hotel option in club cettia resort and appartment several travel agents seem to mix bookings up with these two and the cettia beach resort like ourselves other couples had presumed they had booked the latter and either stayed here or got relocated to their chosen hotel after a few days, the staff do try and are very friendly bar staff and restaurant, sun bed booking with towels seems part of hols now and is a 7am start here with a coffee from restaurant at 7.30am cheap dolmo to marmaris but hard work if kids and pushchairs as they get full. This double identity hotel needs highlighting as its misleading.Good luck Chris the rep thank you for help.but ents need a tweak midget giant is mind numbingly bad go see ozzy for tips at the beach resort.

Room Tip: dont be fooled by travel agents with sea views here or jetty thats the cettia beach resort

stayed here for 11 nights in the so called busy summer months..food great always a good choice with show cooking on the grill outside also..never waited to long in line for food a and it was really busy..entertainment team work like mad all day long and my kids never got bored and thats a first for them on holiday..coco is mad as a brush..kids loved him hes a true asset(hope ur there next summer).. got some real quality photos done onsite the guys are great at there job..wife loved the turkish baths, so much infact she went twice(thus costing me more cash lol) seriously though good value for money..dont know why all the negative reviews..basically
1. if u dont like kids or noise DONT book a family orientated hotel
2.if u dont like the all inclusive buffet type foods DONT go all inclusive..eat out on holiday simples
3. if u dont like it busy DONT go on holiday during school hols ect.
IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE FOLKS..

We arrived mid afternoon and check in was easy and we were taken to our room by a bell boy which after leaving home 12 hrs before was a godsend as we were pretty tired, but not to tired!!
Went down to check out the pool area and was very pleased with what we saw, plenty of sunbeds to be had at anytime of the day so no need for the early morning rush to get one. We had heard that there had been a fire earlier in the week but the staff must have worked like trojans to clean the place up as the only thing that lingered was a slight burn smell and the place was shining like a new button. The food was well cooked but a bit on the repetitive side and while the waiters were very good with the children, my wife and I was only offered a drink with our meals about 6 times in the whole 2 weeks we were there, still I have legs so no major drama. Never ventured outside to the main entertainment so can't comment on that but the karaoke that is supposed to start at 11:30 never really got going and the couple who were running it were the most miserable people in the whole resort. The room we had was a good size but never got any sun on the small balcony, so we asked for a change and what was offered was a good balcony but a smaller room, we decided to stay where we were and on reflection was a good choice as the room stayed quite cool and was a nice haven from the sun if needed. The room was cleaned everyday and the towels were changed as well but the towels that are provided are in a very bad state and worn out, I know they are used every day but so is my towel at home, and is not that worn or threadbare. The reception and managerial staff were very helpfull and approachable at all times. The jewelery shop on site will clean all of your jewelery for free, and with a smile, we bought a very nice bracelet and ankle chain from there which they made to order from one original long chain for a very reasonable price. The pool area was cleaned every night and reset up for the next day, the pool, though cold initially, was still warm enough to swim in everyday once you got over the initial shock, this was because it was cooler at night and it was the end of October. You had to be careful negotiating around the pool area as if you stepped of the mats then it was like an ice rink and I saw quite a few people take tumbles. We went into the town a few times and felt very safe wandering around, Marmaris is very clean and modern looking with stunning views all around and the people are very friendly, I would definitely go back to Marmaris again.

Stayed here October half term family of 3, this was recommended as being the best hotel in marmaris, I can assure you that this is far from the best!

First of all the food was consistently the same old stuff just in mixed sauces, chips, rice and soup that tasted horrendous! The drinks were fine for an all inclusive package however one of the bar staff was very rude each time we was served by him... However the second member of staff 'petro' was friendly and never ceased to smile or make a funny remark.

The maid services were excellent and met every need we had- we did have black bugs all in our bathroom however they did do there best to get rid of these. The reception staff always seemed to have a real effort to get the wifi to work however discovered later in the week the wifi was down because of the fire.

Not to go on about the fire however this ruined many facilities, a 'free' Turkish bath and pamper treatment was sold to us by thomas cook however once getting here this wasn't the case and we was asked for 45 pound each for this!! Due to there being 2 fires in a matter of weeks you would think they would have WORKING fire alarms, however this wasn't the case the one outside our rooms had some wires cut and the plastic casing hanging off the wall, the next nearest alarm was far down the hall!!

Being constantly badgered by people trying to sell you stuff or having sly remarks made about being British or blonde wasn't the highlight of my holiday and being asked to be brought for camels got a bit old and boring. The evening entertainment lacked big time and 100 liera bingo got very repetitive. The pool area had plenty of sun beds however the pool was freezing and crowds by inflatables and show off kids.

Overall our holiday was good however I cannot say I would return here with my family again.

Visited here for the 1st time in Oct for a week with the family (6 & 4yo). I was quite worried having read the previous reviews about fire / sickness etc......no need to have worried.

This is a clean, modern, well maintained hotel. The food is EXCELLENT (and I'd class my self as a "foodie"). Lots of choice, all fresh and very tasty. We did go at the end of the season, so over-crowding / no sun beds etc wasn't an issue, but could imagine it would be in the high season.

We went for a family Turkish Bath & Massage, sorted through Danny at the hotel. Yes it was expensive (£100 ish) for the 4 of us, but it was AMAZING. Well worth the money. We recommended this to so many others who also thought it was excellent. Yes, you can get cheaper if you look around, but not the same quality......you get what you pay or I guess!

We had some photos done by Serj, again, circa £100 but we got lots of OUTSTANDING pics of us all which are in the process of being turned into a canvas.

It was my daughters birthday whilst we were there and the staff couldn't have made more of a fuss of her.

Oh, and if you do decide to venture out at night, not only is it very safe, but the price of the meals (right down on the front) were so CHEAP - £35 for the 4 of us, inc steak and drinks !!

The only downside (hence the but...) were some of the "clientele" in the hotel. I have never seen such fat, greedy, rude individuals in one place (minority). I was ashamed to be British on more than one occasion.

We would recommend here despite the last paragraph. Look beyond the fatties and you will have a wonderful holiday. Great staff, excellent bargains (go to the bazaar) awesome food and some great treats (massage & photos) to be had

Try it, you won't regret it

Stayed here during the October half term break with my 7 year old daughter and my mother. The hotel was nice and the staff were helpful. There was always food available but it did become a bit repetative. During the evening meal the food cooked outside on the grill was usually better that what was available at the buffet. There was a lot of choice. Drinks were available all day. The rooms were cleaned (brifely) everyday and towels were changed if left visable for the maids. The bedding was changed after 3 days. My daughter enjoyed playing by the pool, which by the way is freezing. The eveing entertainment was not brillant and took place outside which got rather chilly in the evening. The children's mini disco was the same few songs every day but the kids seemed to enjoy it. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to a beach in Icmelar - this beach is ok, nothing special. A bus stops outside the hotel which goes into Marmaris town centre its only 2 lira and takes less than 10 mins. I would recommend this hotel for families, all the children seemed like they were having fun. The weather was lovely around 26-28 degrees during the day considering it was the end of October, but bring a jacket or jumper as the evenings got chilly. The hotel toilets were cleaned regularly and the hotel always looked clean. During lunch and dinner the staff are happy to bring drinks to your table if you ask.
