This was the best hotel we have stayed in! The staff were amazing and so friendly! We couldn't have wished for anything more from a holiday! We have 3 young children and the hotel had all the facilities we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!

We went to stay at Cettia in April 2010. We were there during the Volcanic situation and was only going for 4 days but ended up staying 9!! The hotel is spotless! Not a picece of dirt anywhere! They are always cleaning! The food was excellent! Loads of choice for everyone! The staff were great very frendly! The entertainment staff were amazing!! Gerry, Ozzy and Eddie were soo much fun they made our holiday! The location was great not too far from anywhere! You have to go down to the bar street on the evening as the clubs were great, the entertainment staff come out and party with you... any reviews on here that say it was bad are blind and stupid! This hotel was exactly what you want for a 4star hotel! There is loads to do in the day for the kids and they have a great slide and activities. There is a great spa and beauty salon on site. we met some amazing people here and it is a holiday we will never forget! We are going back next year!

What can I say... one of the best hotels I have been to! First time staying in Turkey and will definitely be returning to the Cettia.
Clean, tidy and comfortable - what more could you ask for?
Brilliant choice of food through the day and evening. Chicken, beef, salad, chips, pizza, rice... you name it!
Good location. The 'Bazaar' (shopping) is only a short buss ride from the hotel for 1.25TL. (Make sure you get the number 3 there and back)
The staff are just brilliant. They are great with kids! Eddie, Jerry and Aussie made us laugh every day we were there.
British restaurant and bar opposite the hotel ran by two lovely women, where you can get sandwiches, breakfasts, steaks - you name it! All for cheap if you ever get bored of the hotel.
I would strongly recommend visiting the hotel spa whilst you are there, sooner rather than later if you are going to have the Turkish bath. We had the Turkish bath the second day we where there and it just leaves your skin feeling amazing! You tan so much better too. Emrah will look after you there - a genuinely lovely person.
Marta, the hotel manager cannot do enough for you. She is always walking around chatting to the guests making sure everyone is OK and enjoying their stay. You will be well looked after.
It was my boyfriends 22nd birthday whilst we were there, because of the Volcano incident we were 4 days delayed. I paid the kitchen 25TL (£10) and they baked him a cake and decorated it, put balloons up outside for us during the day - it was lovely.
Thomas Cook really looked after us during the Volcano crisis, and kept us on All Inclusive at no extra cost. Our rep Gemma worked her bum off that week and was shattered, but did her job really well - thank you.
The rooms in the hotel are modern, comfortable and you can ask for big comfy duvets and extra pillows if needed. The only down side is the walls are paper thin, so if you are unlucky enough to have a pair of brats next door screaming the place down like us then I would ask to be moved...
They also provide Sky T.V at a cost of £15 for two weeks (less for one) if ever you fancy having a night in.
We didnt really visit the beach, we went once and it wasnt that good! Full of stones rather than sand and really small. The hotel have their own beach though which we didn't visit, its private and the shuttle will pick you up and bring you back for free.
The hotel was really quiet for the majority of the time, obviously due to no flights coming in... so it was lovely! However when the flights started to come back in and it got more busier you do notice the difference, queues for food etc and the restaurant gets quite cramped!

Anyway - don't let the bad reviews put you off (if their are any!). I can honestly say it is a great hotel and the staff are brilliant.

Go and see Jimmy the jeweler withing the hotel (Pacha Jewelers), he has some amazing items at great prices.
Thank you Cettia, we will be back soon!!! Sofie & Ross x

We stayed at the Grand Cettia hotel on an all-inclusive basis. The hotel is fantastic, really clean and spacious. Nicely laid out on a large plot not too far from town but far enough to be quiet. The staff at this hotel are amazing. Our holiday was during the Icelandic Volcano incident and although Thomas Cook moved us from the Cettia the management and staff went out of their way to allow us to come back and spend time there. I have never stayed anywhere where the staff take so much trouble to make you feel like part of the family. One waiter (Seveth) even picked us up from a bus stop late at night and took us back to the hotel. The food is very good and unusually for all-inclusive, a table service is provided. Our only criticism is the Tuborg lager which my husband didn't enjoy but seems to be a favourite amongst all-inclusive hotels. The entertainment staff were brilliant - we travelled with a 15 and 11 year old and there was always something going on organised by Eddi, Gerri and Ozzy for them to participate in. And, you have to visit Joseph and Black Jack in Pasha - the jewellers. We got some beautiful jewellery, including a hand-made ring to order, for an amazing price. We would also recommend the Turkish Bath experience - never have I had such a relaxing full-body massage. See Emrah! I would highly recommend if going to Marmaris, to stay at the Grand Cettia. I have just got back from the Cettia and can honestly say I have never been anywhere where people are so friendly! The staff were lovely and the hotel was lovely too. I am a vegetarian and there was a great selection of food for both myself and meat eaters. I can not fault the place at all and would reccomend it to anyone who is thinking of visiting.

We arrived mid evening after a long journey from the airport. We were greeted by freindly staff at reception and the bell boy who never seems to sleep.
It was still early season (10 April 2010) so hotel was quiet, bar and resturant staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help, Gerry the entertaiment guy is mad but in a good way, as the week progressed it started to fill up a bit but then things came to a halt because of volcanic ash!! We were advised by our travel company to move to a cheaper hotel run by them, we relucantly did, and after one night couldn't bear it and went back to Cettia, again more of the same first class staff who go out of the way to help, a wonderful clean place with a lovely pool, great food and plenty off it.
Even though it was clear the hotel was not getting guests in because of the no flight ban, they never stopped makeing every effort to keep us all entertained. Special mention to Esra & Ugur from Cettia Tattoo who were brilliant and our waiter Servett
will definatly go back next year! But before the mass exodus from Britan in the summer, I imagine the atmosphere changes somewhat, we had a clue as we were leaving and people arriving.

I must say that this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We were there when the volcano erupted and had to stay an extra five days. The staff could not have been more helpful (Marta, Eddis, Gerry, Ozzy,Emra,Black Jack, Jimmy and all the waiters, bar staff and cleaning staff-I cant remember everyones names-sorry) The rooms were cleaned every day and there was a good selection of food. We met some wonderful people and became known as 'The VAVS (Volcanic Ash Victims).
One last mention for Gemma our Thomas Cook Rep who was amazing. Hope to return next year.
