“Definately recommend a stay!!”
Reviewed 10 September 2012

Just returned from this hotel, and felt the need to write a review. Really enjoyed the holiday with my boyfriend, we had a totally relaxing time at Grand Pasa. First day we paid for the Turkish bath, it was definately worth it, with 2 hours of total relaxation it was a great way to start the holiday and you couldnt find it cheaper eslewhere. To answer concerns from previous reviews; You dont get your mini bar stocked with water everyday as some people complained about, however at dinner every night you get a big bottle, you can take with you and fill up at various different water coolers, so no need to stock the mini bar really. We only left the hotel once as our plan was to relax and not move pretty much all holiday and Gran Pasa allowed us to do this. The food was plentiful and great choice, with something for everyone. There was enteratinment if you wanted to get involved but you were left alone if you preffered not to. The room was cleaned every day and spotless on arrival, as was the pool. The air conditioning the room was great, it even had a nightmode on it which slowed down the fan enough for it not to keep you wake, like some people complained about. Great hotel, not so sure about marmaris itself, not my cup of tea, but we were cacooned away in the great setting of Gran Pasa. Would definately recommed.

Room Tip: from with 47 in the room number has no view at all, would not recommend staying in this room from wh...

Well what can I say about this hotel, we have been to marmaris several times but this is certainly one of the best hotels we have stayed in . Food is quite good plenty of choice it's the first time we have been away and only had chips once. They don't really do English breakfast but the other choices out way that . The only downside for me was sunbeds some were up at 6 am to get the best place ,when your on holiday you don't want to get up for a sunbed scrap may be they should look at this . Excellent place to stay simply the best for us

This was our first time to Marmaris and after staying at a wonderful 4* hotel in Olu Deniz in May, our expectations were pretty high.
First impressions........... the hotel layout, reception & pool area were very good, the rooms were excellent with a double bed and a single in each room, flat screen tv, and huge bath/shower. The rooms were spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. We were given room 548 which was very nice however when going onto the balcony we were looking at a wall. A few words with the reception staff and we were moved to room 406 which overlooked the Pineta Park Deluxe hotel so all was good.
The Bad Points.........Food was absolutely disgusting, we have visited many 3 and 4 star hotels and this was by far the worst food we have ever had. Stew of some sort every night, lasange which looked like it had been cooked 3 days earlier, lunch was whatever was leftover from dinner the night before.
Dinner............every single 3 and 4* star restaurant we have ever stayed in has always welcomed us into the restaurant and asked us how many people was in our group so that they can seat us, and then took our order for drinks. So as we were staying in a 5* star we expected this, however, you had to find your own table and get your own drinks which i feel was unacceptable for a 5*.
Drinks...............These were awful, no replicas of Bacardi etc, cocktails was just coloured syrup and lemonade, and all served in childrens small plastic beakers. I understand the need for plastic cups for around the pool but in the evening, whilst watching entertainment, I want my drink in a glass. Having said this if you wanted to sit upstairs in the lobby or on the verandah you could get drinks in a glass.
There was no ice-cream in the all inclusive package, not even for children.
Pool area........This is fantastic with a large swimming pool, waterslides and large sunbathing area, the pool guy works his socks off from 6.30am to 8.30pm and if there is no sunbed available he will find you one.
Entertainment................The entertainment team worked their socks off and entertained us all day long, however the acts they brought in were hit and miss. we had break dancers 2 nights on the trot and it was annoying after every act they went round asking guests for tips...........we have already paid for entertainment in our all inclusive package so why should we pay again!
Location...............The hotel is located on the edge of Marmaris but with plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. A 5 minute walk will take you onto the main street where their are bars, resataurants and shops galore, however be aware when you want to cross the road as the traffic is very fast and its a case of run when there is a break in the traffic.
The shopping is excellent and there are copies of everything available from Jimmy Choo to Hollister, Super Dry, Armani etc but remember when bartering these are all Copies! The shop staff are very pushy and can be very intimidating but a firm NO and walk away should do the trick.
Beaches.......This was my biggest disappointment, Marmaris beach is dirt coloured and gritty, we were told Icmeler beach was better so we visited this but it was stone, grit and shingle, we are used to lovely sandy beaches in Cyprus so this was a big disappointment for us.
Tips.....There are tip boxes situated around the hotel, however we were horrified when the bar staff informed us that the hotel manager unlocks and empties these once a week and keep every penny to himself, so if you want to leave a tip, give this directly to the person, otherwise the hotel manager will take it.
All in all we had a lovely time, but spent alot of money eating and drinking out, for me to visit this hotel again, there would need to be a massive improvement in the food & drinks and the general service would need to be improved.

Great experience. Caring, fun staff. Clean hotel in all areas. Food excellent. Far enough from the crazy main street. Would certainly recommend. We went in August and although it was full, always found beds and a shade round the pool

Just back from a 9 day stay at Grand Pasa . Cant really complain about the hotel but will say its not five star !!!! Food was ok but a bit repetative but if you like cauliflower and rice pudding for breakfast then you will be ok ... Rooms were nice and cleaned every day . Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpfull , its just a shame the receptionist weren't the same they could really do with a course in customer service , and learn to smile !!! . Make sure your up at 6 in morning if you want a sunbed by the pool !!! Our best experience at the hotel was having our tattoo's done , Emrah is an amazing tattooist my boyfriend had a tribal tattoo done on his chest and shoulder which Emrah done freehand , Im the biggest coward ever and i hardly felt him doing it he is very gentle , we were made to feel very comfartible and relaxed by emrah and his wife Tammy so a big thank you to you both . We love our tats x . One more thing when booking any trips dont book with Mr Travel we booked a full day trip to turtle beach and were up at 7am to be picked up for 8.30am and they didnt turn up , we went back to the office and we weren't even offered an appology, just told we can do it another day , when the day came we arrived on time at the office and were kept waiting another hour for the bus to collect us , when it did come it was jam packed we had to stand all the way which was so dangerous !!! As we arrived at the boat late we were left with no seat for a 2 and a half hour boat trip !!! We weren't amused to say the least . If you eat out go to O'Yes restaurant which is at the marina food was excellent , if you want somewhere nearer the hotel we highly recommed the Sandam steak house which is 5 mins away . All in all we had a good time these are just a few pointers for anyone going.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet night at any point dont choose a pool view room

Have been back from Grand Pasa 5 days and miss it like mad. Had the most amazing holiday and it really was made extra special by the staff! Cannot do enough for you and are such good fun.

Hotel would be suitable for a young couple, family, girls/lads holiday or older couple just has something for everyone. Location is fab aswell as you are just a short walk away from pretty much everything.

My most favourite part of the hotel was the tattoo shop. Emrah and his wife are two of the nicest people I've met. I've already got 4 tattoos and Emrah has just done a new one on my foot, he is the best tattoo artist I have come across I couldn't be more happy with my tattoo. Everyone told me it would be really painful on my foot but I promise you he is so gentle it was almost pain free. Would HIGHLY recommend him.

So get booking people you won't be disappointed.

There is always something to eat and i am very fussy, i also had a tattoo done which was very good. the rooms are always clean and spacious, Charlie The pool guy works his socks off and is very helpful. we will be going back and look forward to seeing them all. i had read lots of reviews about this place and was a bit nervous i really shouldnt of worried. i didnt find anyone rude and treat people like you like to be treated and you will love this place.
