“Great holiday, very good value or money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2012

Got back from this holiday on Thursday ( 18th) and just wanted to say we had a great time. Good location, very clean , looks good, food ok, as you can expect really, pretty much standard for these sorts of hotels. I'm vegetarian and was getting bored with salad so mentioned to one of the chefs and he made me my own personal veggie pizza! Waiter very friendly and helpful, bar staff, some more friendly than others but always polite. I thougth the choice of free drinks was perfectly adequate, and after the first glass of wine, tasted great! Lol entertainment isn't great, but it's what you make of it I guess, it was ok as we were a group of 3, myself my mother and my daughter, so was fine. If you want something more exciting you can go with the ents team to bar street for a late night out, or go just outside the hotel to either Diana.s or no name bar on the corner of the high street, which puts on entertainment which was .quite cheesy but fun. Book trips from either mr travel or one of the other kiosks, we used a couple of different ones and were all fine. Definitely recommend the jeep safari, great fun, be prepared to get very wet! Overall couldn't really fault anything, hope to go back next year :)

Room Tip: Most people seem to want he pool view rooms but I would definately go for the back of the hotel agai...

We have just arrived home from this holiday, in fact just 6 hours ago!!
Our first time in Turkey and wasn't sure what to expect. The reviews for this hotel were, in the main, excellent which boded well. We weren't disappointed. It's a lovely looking hotel set in a sheltered wooded cove. The cleaning staff kept the grounds, rooms and public areas spotless.
The bar staff kept us watered with good quality Turkish beer (Efes) from 10am to midnight. The missus said the local vodka was OK, and she drank enough of it to form a very considered opinion!!
We were there on an All Inclusive deal and the food in the restaurant didn't disappoint. Plentiful, piping hot and a massive choice at every serving. So much so that I even spoke to the executive chef, who could be seen in the restaurant every evening, to express my compliments.
The pool area was kept organised by Charlie the pool manager who is the hardest working guy I've ever seen. He never stops from early morning to early evening sorting beds and mattresses and generally cleaning up after us less than considerate holidaymakers.
The entertainment team were brilliant with the usual pool games and mini sporting tournaments. They were never pushy and always polite. A big hi to Naz, Merih, Jamil, DJ Sonic and all the team.
The rooms were well appointed with supercooling air con and kept clean with a daily maid service.
The hotel isn't on the beach but it's only a five minute stroll to the nearest one.
We'd definitely return to Turkey and would certainly consider this hotel again. We had a great time.

Room Tip: The pool views offer a nice outlook to the wooded hillside and get the sun on the balconies at some...

Me and my fiance went on holiday to grand pasa from the 5th october-19th october 2012,

Housekeeping Cleaners- The housekeeping were good at cleaning the rooms always took there time on each and everyones room job well done.

Swimming Pools/Slides- The Slides were very fun and the swimming pools were great i loved the depth of the swimming pool it was up to my neck all the way along it was always kept clean by charlie the pool guy which was a very hardworking fast person always picking the rubbish up and getting people sunbeds and parasols.

Entertainment Team- The entertainment team were just the best they were so nice to you and would always speak to you and i would like to name them Mary,Jamel,Mas,Dj Sonic. Mary really did love her kids as she was the kids club animation team she would also go round giving people hugs and kisses on the cheeks mostly ladies for the kisses.

Turkish Bath/Sauna/Steam Room/Jacuzzi/Massages/Foam Baths/- Antonio was the turkish bath manager he was awesome he was a very talkable person to speak to always waves at you when he walks round to see if you want Turkish bath. The turkish bath and the rest of it were just the best i really recommend you get these done.

Food- The food in the hotel was quite good the breakfast was mostly the same but it was lovely indeed. The lunch was very nice was different food everyday and the dinner was extremely great as it was always a different menu i would recommend eating the peking duck that was perfect.

A'La Carte- We visited this place once and it was so posh and u get at least 4 courses it was nice.

Reception- The Chinese looking lady was a nice lady to speak to always smiling but the young looking man when we checked in was very grumpy didnt even see a smile buy halfway through are holiday he did smile it was like he doesnt enjoy his job. The check in was really fast got are room straight away went and unpacked and went straight to the swimming pool.

Night Entertainment- The entertainment was good especially the karaoke which i took part in and the mr grand pasa which my fiance took part in. They also done a comedy show which was fun to watch as Jamel dressed up as kate winslet and pretending to do titanic sailing across the swimming pool. The only thing that wasnt too good was the breakdancers they get boring and that isnt even a talent.

This was a perfect holiday i would totally recomment do not listen to those silly people saying bad reviews we are hoping to go back when got the money.

PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT AND PERFECT!!!!!!!!!

Stayed here from 24th Sept to 8th October and what a stay it was.
when we got to the hotel we were well impressed the reception staff were cheerful and very helpful. we were shown to our room which was room 409 this had a pool view which we had requested by e.mail a few days before we arrived. the bell boy was very helpful and showed us how to work everything.

that first evening we went to the main resturant and found the food to be plentyfull and a good selection. we then went out to visit some friends that own one of the bars close to the hotel.

on our first full day there we had a walk along the beach front to the mariner to book a boat trip with Romeo and Alex who own the Blue Paradise boat which we use every year they are a good set of lads never a dull moment with them.

we found the staff at the hotel very helpful and always had a smile for you. the pool lad Charlie is the hardest working person i have ever seen, he never stops. if you cant find a sun bed he will. he is always happy.

the bar staff also work hard and this is my only gripe, they only have one barman on at all time so you had to wait to be served, he is also responsable for collecting the glasses which at times was a pain in the backside.

the rooms were very clean and the maids worked real hard , your towels are changed daily as are your sheets. we had opted to keep are room on till 5pm and when we opened the door to leave there were 4 maids waiting to turn it round.

the entertainment team started work at 10am and worked throughout the day and night. most evenings we went out and about. we enjoyed a few night in the Diana bar which is not far from the hotel, you can have a great night there. the food is second to none there. my husband had a T bone steak there and he could not finish it.

the only down side to the holiday which had nothing to do with the hotel was the death of a man who died in the pool. he had a heart attack, the staff and holiday maker tried their best to help.

so in summing up the grand pasa i would say a good 4 star hotel that could be a great 5 star with a few tweeks. would i go back the answer is YES.

Room Tip: room with pool view is a must. room 409 gets afternoon sun which is ideal if you wan to leave the po...

We stayed for 10 days and leave tonight.
Great value for money. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily with fresh towels whether you wanted them or not. Air con worked well.
Food good selection in the restaurants, lots of choice, you would need to be incredibly fussy to struggle to find nothing to eat. The Turkish food was the best as they seemed to have drummed a lot of the spice etc out for Brits! Drinks beer, wine, spirits all fine. You get one meal included in the al a carte restaurant book ahead.
Everyone bags their subbed before breakfast whatever the signs say. Pool is fantastic lovely and big.

Get the all in spa treatment the works on your first day. Your skin feels so soft and the massage gets rid of the aches from travel. The guy selling is not pushy! He explains the offer and doesn't harass you. The beauty place does an ok job no top coat on your nail varnish and not the best Turkish shave ever. All of the shops take sterling, euro and dollar. Little need for lira.

Staff are all good.

Entertainment the music and good morning songs etc can be too loud and cheesy but thankfully not on all the time. Sunday's are great when it is their day off!

Recommend if you want a lazy holiday in the sun on an all inclusive basis. Great value.
