“See you next year”
Reviewed 4 November 2012

Hi everyone, we have booked again for next August because we loved the place so much. We stayed in August this year for 2 weeks and had a ball. The food was great, the room was good enough and the staff where fantastic. When we go back next year we will be using the meal deal because we ate at the hotel most nights anyway. I would like to thank Coco, Chucky and the entertainment staff for keeping a smile on our faces for 2 weeks, day and night. The staff are really good at the Aida and none better than Deniz ( just a pity he supports Man U ). We travelled as a family of 4, and our 6 year old daughter loved the kids club while our 16 year old loved the night life in Marmaris and was always looked after by the staff (thanks Rocket) and other teenagers from the hotel. We met some really nice people here, some come back every year which says it all ! We are really looking forward to returning and hope to see you soon.
I hope to see Ian and Nicola (mancs) again and Nick and Kelly (Essex) !!!

Reviewed 28 October 2012

We visited Turkey for the first time and stayed at Club Aida self catering apartments from 18th October 2012 for 7 nights. I was a little dubious and wasnt sure what to expect. We travel as a couple with 2 children (6 yrs and 16 yrs), the hotel/apartments were fantastic, especially for a family, i couldnt fault anything which is very unusual for me. The apartment was modern, clean, had one twin bedroom (beds were comfy) and a lounge/kitchen with a sofa bed and a chair bed, modern bathroom with large shower/bath, patio doors opening out to a large patio. The brochure stated rooms were serviced twice a week but ours was done daily with clean bedding and towels and bins emptied. We had a groundfloor apartment, i asked for pool view and got a room facing the open restaurant/bar/entertainment stage. I cringed when i saw the entertainment in the brochure before we went but was pleasantly suprsed as it was very amusing. The hotel is perfect for children and they do so much entertainment to keep the kids entertained and lots for adults too. i would say this hotel is more for a family, if i was going away as just a couple without children i would not choose to come here as it is very family orientated but not in a butlins/tacky way. The entertainment is on until 12 midnight and the staff around the hotel are excellent and very helpful and friendly. The food is of a good standard and reasonable prices too, local restaurants around marmaris are reasonable too, its very cheap to eat out in turkey, infact everything is cheap except food/drink at the airport which is expensive. The pools are great, very clean, lots of staff around, very child friendly. About a 7/10 minute walk to the beach. Staff are excellent. Meals can be slightly more expensive at restaurants around the harbour, do visit here as its lovely, ichmeler was a bit disappointing, preferrred marmaris. Shop in hotel is cheap and has the same prices as shops outside the hotel, has a good games room for the children and a spa, hairdressers and bar. Cannot fault anything about the hotel or self catering apartments, we all had a lovely time. Weather was mixed, hot, warm and rainy for late october, if returned to marmaris would definatly stay here though would go earlier in the year to guarentee weather.

Room Tip: If you want a very quiet room do not ask for a pool view as you may end up near the entertainment st...

Stayed here for a couple of weeks for a winter break. Overall a great hotel. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. During the daytime the music and entertainment around the pool is amusing without being too annoying, although we didn't participate they don't hassle you to join in.
Bar good and reasonably priced, free Wifi being a bonus. Didn't eat here that much as prefer to escape the hotel at night.
Downside is the Aircon and Safe are extra, didn't need the Aircon in October but you would do in the summer so add £30 a week.

Room Tip: Don't stay on the corner facing the Car park, we did for the first 2 nights and its incredibly n...

Just returned after 2 weeks at Aida.
Where do I start.
GOOD POINTS.
Rooms and Hotel are very clean.Bar prices
are very competitive with local bars.

BAD POINTS
Expensive charges for Air Con,TV and Safe.
These should be included in the price.
Poorly equipped "self catering",Ok if you
only want tea and toast.
Entertainment (if you can call it that) was nothing
but 4 of 5 guys and 1 girl turning out the same
crap every day.Their main object during the day
was to make sure you did not relax around the pool.
From 10-30am it was a constant stream of music
which was played far too loud, and stupid games.
If you wanted to just relax and read a book, you
were not allowed.Constant harassment by the
entertainment staff.
It got so noisy that we left the complex during the day
and got our relaxing holiday elsewhere.
We returned most nights around 10 to 10-30
after eating out at local restaurants which are
very good and inexpensive.
The "entertainment" on every night consisted of
"Kids Disco"- same games same songs every night.
"Speciality Act"-Egyptian Mummys dancing??,
Breakdancing,Michael Jackson dancing,
Karaoke,Quiz Night, etc etc.
No professional acts at all.
All very poor.
We then at to endure "Open the Box" every night.
If this was not a "con",I must be a Chinaman.
Although they sell a strip of 5 tickets for
5 Lire they only increase the prize money
by 40 Lire a night. What happens to the rest??
When i asked Ginger,who sells the tickets,about
this he just shrugged his shoulders and laughed.
To finish the night off we then had "dancing on the
stage",the same 4-5 dancers,plus members from audience
doing exactly the same 5-6 dances every night.
"Entertainment" finally finished around 12.

As we enjoy dining out and visiting "the local"
restaurants we never dined at Hotel,so cannot
comment on food.

In conclusion,if you are female age 14-24 you will love it,
and the male staff will love you.
If you are 40+ there will be very little to entertain you.
If you are 60+ you will probably hate it.

Room Tip: All rooms have different features. Some have sun all day, others no sun. Pot luck really what you g...
