Well, I firstly gotta reply to maria41 who must have been on drugs when she was here or is just on another planet!
I came here with my WIFE - we just recently married and this was our Honeymoon.
Getting married was the best and happiest day of my life and I think its distgusting that you decided to try and slate the Wedding that was here.
That Bride and Groom were having the times of their lives and whichever way they decided they wanted their day to be is theur choice!
Well, on to the Hotel.
We arrived at tea time and were quickly checked into our room. We had a problem with our fridge - just wasnt cooling, so they had one of their engineers come and replace it for us straight away.
Rooms are of a good size, we had room 3112, not much of a view out our balcony, but we were able to nosey at the coaches coming dropping people off!! The advantage of having the room at the back was that when the sun started to disapeer at the pool area, we were able to go up to our balcony and get another hour or two of sunbathing in!
You get all your usual kitchen needs, decent sized bathroom, although the bath was small, very good shower though.
The pool is 1.6m deep the whole way round, but for non swimmers like myself, you can go down a few of the steps and sit, they got these at either end of the pool as well as the normal steps that you usually climb down.
Had to leave my towel down at about 8 every morning, 1st day I went down at 9 and every lounger was taken, but then it was the middle of the season, so you expect it to be busy, they were supposed to take towells off unattended loungers, had a sign up saying they would lift them between 8&10 am but they never did, so you got to get down early!
Entertainment was on everyday at the pool, the water gym probably only was designed to get the females boobs bouncing, but its Turkey, you know what the Turkish men are like, but you weren't forced. A previous review said the daytime entertainment was for kids, but it wasnt, they mixed it and had the adults joining in too, but again this was the middle of July were families do take their kids on holiday, so obviously your see alot of younger themed entertainment, this was also the case at night, there was a show on every night, everyone that was there when I was there seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Food at Hotel is really nice, and its not expensive to eat here. When you go out you can find cheaper restraunts of course, but the Hotel wasnt any dearer than any other of its quality.
We went on the Dalyan trip, Mud baths were stinking but a good experience! But dropping people back to their hotels made me feel so luck that we came to Aida.
The place is only up about 3 years and the others dont hold a candle to it!
When you come out of the Hotel, turn right and walk down the street, on the right hand side you will come to a restraunt called Minder, turkish people even eat in here and everynight it was packed, not that dear, but the food is simply the best!
We plan to come back next year, the hotel is great and the staff are good, tho some reviewers and people there at the same time as me seem to get a bit obsessed with it all. They seem to worship one of the entertainment team - Shaggy, Im sure he's a nice guy, but impression aI got was that unless you showed him a bit of attentention then he wasnt interested, some of them will walk right past you and not speak but the majority of them are really good, Fish is crazy and is a lovely guy, Reggie and the boys at the hairdressers are great to.
If your booked to go you wont be disapointed, you'll love it!!!!
