I didn't know much about this place before visiting but the kick of walking round the ruins of a 2,700 year old building atop a hill with a great panoramic view was superb. Being able to touch the smooth-as-silk basalt rocks with their inscriptions which look as if they were carved yesterday brought the place alive. Well worth a visit.
