Central Inn

We had a very short stay, but found the room to be clean and reasonably appointed.
There were a ton of security features (staff at posts throughout the campus, large gates, etc.), which made me feel quite safe.
The dinner we had was unimpressive--there were many choices, but the cafeteria felt like dining in a senior home, and the food tasted like it was prepared in gigantic vats.
We also had a room right next to one of the outdoor patios, which made it a little tough to go to bed early.

Room Tip: If you have an early morning, ask for a room far from patios and other common areas.

I had a good experience. The staff is courteous and the rooms are spacious.I always stay in transit at this hotel. The pick n drop facility at the airport is an add on advantage. The bar is well stocked and the Wi Fi works fine.

This is a lovely transit hotel set in the leafy surburbs of Entebbe.
It has a serene cocktail garden and a scrumptious buffet.
The menu is continental and the accommodation is clean, neat and affordable.
The staff is very friendly and the management is quick to respond to clients needs.
Bikes are available for bikong around the colonial town.
Airport pickups and drop offs have 24 hours service.
It also operates a Gorilla tracking and tour service.
An excellent entry point to Uganda!

I always make it a point to stay at this lakeside tranquil inn whenever i have early morning flights which is not so often but whenever i visit with them its clear that the management is committed to continuous improvement. The interior decor of the room in the extension i stayed in could benefit from a touch of luxe. The staff are helpful and there is 24 hour chauffeur and shuttle for big groups to the airport which is just approximately 7km from the inn. For those visiting the country you can make use of the sister company www.visituganda.com and arrange overland tours and travel to any tourist attraction in the pearl of Africa (Uganda). They have introduced a buffet which offers local cuisine in addition to ala carte continental dishes available in the restuarant. I always take time to chill in the bar and i must say it boasts a formidable selection of wines and spirits and you can follow any sports channel via their satellite connection.I t feels secure too maybe because monitoring is much more effective due to its size.Definitely worth a visit immediately or sooner.

Room was quite clean but quite basic with a bed, bathroom, mosquito net, TV (with 6 channels), a small empty ref, a table, two chairs, a fan, and a closet. No safe. Internet connection was only at the lobby so you cannot work from your room.

Staff friendly enough. Nice to be able to walk around.

Breakfast was provided but nothing great.

We stayed here for a week one time. It was oK. The hotel seems to be very busy, lots of Bilble meetings over breakfast so I got the feeling it was used by missionaries quite a bit. Also met some of the UN staff here. The breakfast was OK as were the rooms. There was nothing fantastic about the Central Inn.

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the generator it will be quieter
