GOOD:
1. Free Wi-Fi in room.
2. First line from the sea with private beach.
3. Free daily transfer to Dubai Trade Center.
4. Big rooms with shower and bath, minibar, teapot with free daily tea and water.

BAD:
1. Expensive breakfast 40$ per person for an ordinary buffet.
2. After transfer to Dubai we were informed by the driver that the bus back to hotel would be at 9 P.M., not 8 P.M. We came at 9 P.M. and were told by phone, that the bus left at 8 P.M. without us, and we had to wait 2 hours for the next one. No excuses - nothing.
3. We bought expensive fruits and cakes in supermarket for 35$, and left it in room. Next day hotel staff stole them. We complained to hotel management and get a small compensation. So beware of hotel staff thiefs!
4. Sea is dirty with lots of ships anchored in front, pouring out waste.
5. Very small beach. Could be lack of sunbeds in high season.
6. Lots of Russian tourists with auful behavior in hotel.
7. High prices in hotel restaurant: e.g. 25$ for Ceasar salad.
8. On check out they tried to charge us a minibar we did not use! Looks like it is hotel staff stealing again!
9. Only 2 small outdoor pools in hotel, both with very shallow water (waist-deep), and crowded with children.
10. In room for 2 persons were only 1 cup for tea, 1 for coffee and 1 glass for wine. No booklet with hotel information.
11. Prices in internet online booking portals are much higher, than in tour packages of travel companies.

Room Tip: Better book sea-side view rooms, otherwise you will see only construction site nearby.

I rested at this hotel with my family. Nice hotel, the quality matches the price. Lovely beach and the sea. Used the services "kids club", for my child. Thank you for caring about my child. Pleased with the trip, I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The Thai wife and I spent a night here recently just to try this new hotel out. We had pretty high expectations and were not disappointed. Things started well the day I made the booking with an email from one of the managers requesting extra details for our stay. I decided to keep things simple and just indicated the newspaper I'd like to receive.

We arrived around 3:30pm. The check-in process was a little slow however it was clear the person serving us was relatively new to it and looking to get everything right, which she did. While being checked-in the manager who had emailed me introduced himself and welcomed us.

Being SPG Platinum we were hoping for an upgrade and got one. We were on a high floor overlooking the beach/Arabian Gulf and on the northern end of the building. The newspaper I'd requested was already on the coffee table and shortly a couple of knocks at the door delivered our bags followed by complimentary fruit basket and soft drinks.

The suite had a pretty standard layout although the full length wide balcony and huge bathroom are worth a mention. Also the shower which was the size of some bathrooms I've been in and praise the Lord, had a rain head.

We lazed around and went down to the buffet dinner in Vista. Service was attentive but still learning and maybe a little nervous. There was a wide choice of food types although not a lot of variety within the type. Plenty of red meat for the carnivores. All the food was high quality and well presented although the roast lamb was a little dry and tough. The dessert selection was my wife's favourite and she deliberately ate lightly on the earlier courses to enjoy a number of selections.

Earlier we'd watched a wonderful sunset from the balcony and relaxed there again before sleeping reasonably soundly. Breakfast next morning was great and we loved the fact that pork bacon and sausages were available. The latte coffees were quite good although the second cup was not that hot.

We lazed around the pool and accidently positioned ourselves for a front row seat to the morning ladies water aerobics class. That was the highlight of my weekend, although the Thai wife became a little green eyed.

We could have stayed till 4:00pm but left around mid-day. We will be back for a longer weekend stay or two before we leave Dubai.

All in all this hotel is on the way to being a genuine five star experience. It is clear there is a huge focus on superior customer service and with time as all of the staff become experienced and in some cases a little less nervous, this is going to be a highlight of future stays.

On the down side and mentioned here for the purpose of letting the management know, the toilet roll holder in our bathroom needs to be higher on the wall as it hits ones leg when seated since the toilet is positioned very close to the wall. The writing desk and fixed height chair make it near impossible for a man to get his legs under the desk and therefore the chair has to be set back making the writing or in my case, laptop usage position uncomfortable. The bottom edge of the front of the writing desk should be scalloped out.

Room Tip: Choose the ocean view side.

We spend a great weekend at the Ajman Saray, the hotel is just few months old we got two connected rooms sea wiew, the rooms where extremely comfortable with all the expected amenities of a 5 star hotel. The beach and the pools area is great, with enough space for kids and adults, there's also a kids club for the youngsters. We tried the buffet restaurant they had a great choice of different food and a good wine list, the service is attentive.
I really recommend this hotel for your weekend or short holiday.

Room Tip: Sea wiew and high floors, from 5th onwards
