“visit to jabel Hafeet”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

this is the highest mountain in the chain extending from Oman to UAE. There is a beutiful garden by the name of Green Mubazzarah at the foot of the hill and a natural hot water spring. The facities are good and the whole place is well maintained. The road to the top of the mountain is good and there is a hotel Grand Mercure on the top.

“feels like view from moon”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

starting from green mubazzarah - a nice place for a halt ,dam and green surrounding , you move towards the top of jabal hafeet . At points on the way you can get good view of the city and would love driving uphill . On reaching top of the mountain , there isnt much view of the city but feels great to be at the top. And at night the view is just mesmerizing.

“Amazing View”
Reviewed 23 November 2013

Dubbed as the highest point in Al Ain. Amazing scenic views and cool atmosphere especially at night. Good for picnics or a venue for hanging out with friends.

“Breathtaking experience”
Reviewed 18 November 2013

I went by taxi to the top of Jabal Hafeet. The road to the top is amazing in itself. I loved the desert mountains & landscape. The view from the top is like you are looking out of a plane.
A must see when in Al Ain.

“Fantastic Drive!”
Reviewed 8 November 2013

The driving experience was fantastic. The roads were extremely well-paved, well-designed and well-lit at night, and it give our Mini Cooper S Cabriolet a very good workout. If only it were less crowded...

It was rather disappointing at the top though. It was very crowded, and the views were not exactly fantastic, although there were a couple of interesting spots. The metal fence also made photography challenging. There were many people smoking there, which will be disappointing for people who are hoping for some fresh air at the mountain top.

On the whole, it was still worth the trip for the driving experience and a few spots for nice photographs. Do however avoid stopping at Mercure for dinner though. The service there was poor...
