The name of the hotel is missguiding. Palace and Resort make it sound luxury when it is not more than any 3 star hotel on Costa Blanca in Spain. Present of Russian speaking staff as exagerated, even breakfast tags are in Russian. This is fine for low budget Russian families to enjoy simple swimming pool. No Arabic or Middel East experience at All. It's more than one hour drive from Dubai and transportation fee is very high. Food is terrible, rooms are uggly, bed sheets and pillows smell urine. Very very old bathrooms, no soap available. Worst experience ever !

Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights with 4 adults and 3 children. Large and clean apartments. Paid for 2 extra cots. Good facilities overall. Food quality and service are average at best. The buffet restaurant is chaotic and the staff were always frazzled and seemed lost. The entire checkin and checkout process is slow and disorganised. They never blocked our credit card at checkin and we had to pay by cash or card after making purchases. The front office staff were very slow to understand our concerns. Not bad for a short get away but would not recommend for anything longer. At best it is a serviced apartment concept with pool facilities. Beach is nice.

We have been to the Dubai area 13 times so didn't have to do the usual trips into Dubai instead we took a trip to Musandam (Oman) and enjoyed a Dow trip to see the mountains and dolphins - only downside to this was the one and a half hours waiting at passport control on the way back.
We spent our days on the beach at the Al Hamra Palace and enjoyed swimming in the sea - lovely sandy base with no rocks or stones to worry about. The hotel does well with entertainment for children - both during the day and at night - a good family hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well presented - also we had no problems with cleanliness throughout the hotel. We had seen some negative comments regarding the restaurant staff before making our trip but found them to be very attentive. In our opinion, some guests need to treat them with more respect and be more appreciative of the service provided. Only negative comment from us as being all inclusive guests was the lack of a bar area inside the hotel - we had one rainy day during our stay.

Room Tip: We had a high floor sea view with a corner balcony - ideal for our early morning coffee and watching...

We stayed in a junior suite and it was very clean, spacious and comfy. The service was excellent, even the breakfast by the pool was perfect with plenty of choices. The beach was on the opposite side of the hotel so a buggy trans was provided. The beach was lovely with plenty of activities for kids and adults.
Thumb up for this hotel.

the beach is amazing: lovely sand, so delicate you feel like walking on silk... the service was very nice and they did provide us with shuttle service to the beach, which is less than 5min away walking... but the chalet could use a make-over, and the towels must be changed as they are overused...the breakfast was OK without great variety...

Room Tip: Chalet overlooking the Golf Course.

Stayed for a long weekend in the main hotel. Room was beautiful and large, as was the bathroom with separate shower.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, all seem to have a permanent smile on their faces.
The hotel now has a large buffet area, but unfortunately this is a bit cramped for the number of guests. Food is good.
Plenty of room on the beach and easy to find shade and comfortable sun beds.

Room Tip: Pesto's Italian restaurant in the adjacent Golf club is quiet and unhurried. We were on the 2nd...
