We booked this restaurant from England as a special occasion dinner to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary by email to Mr. Marino Gherardi (F & B Manager) who immediately confirmed our booking.
On the day, as we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted by name by Ageev Bhugawoo (Restaurant Manager) who showed us to our table. WOW!!! it was stunning, we were lost for words. Spectacularly set out with candles and petals in ice buckets surrounding our table - 'Congratulations' spelled out in different pasta shapes under the glass table top together with our names printed on paper and burnt round the edges and pressed flowers - such a tremendous amount of work and attention to detail. Thank you so much to Ageev and waiter Gary for all their efforts.
The food presented to us was exceptional and beautifully plated - antipasti, pasta, lobster, seabass and many other dishes. The whole meal was truly amazing and the service impeccable. At the end of the meal we were even presented with a beautifully decorated cake and hand made card signed by all the staff here who came out and sand 'happy anniversary' to us.
We give highest praise to ALL the staff in this restaurant but in particular for the arrangement, service and attention to detail, way beyond normal standards and must mention by name Marino (F&B Manager) for arranging this wonderful meal - one we will never forget, Ageev (Restaurant Manager) who personally looked after us, Massimo (Head Chef) who supervised and cooked our lovely food and took time out to personally ensure everything was to our liking and last but not least Gary (Waiter) whose smile and charming nature ensured that this would be a truly memorable occasion.
We can honestly say that we have NEVER had such service, fabulous food and attention to detail anywhere else in the world (and we have eaten in many 5* restaurants).
