This Hotel has gone forward the staff do all to make you feel at ease so you can enjoy your time.Other Hotels can take a chip off this newly named Hotel which in my view earns its 5 stars.Dont listen to any nigly comments,as you always find someone who winges about something.

We visited the Hilton in July for a weekend break. Check-in was very efficient and the staff extremely friendly. A minor issue there was nobody manning the valet parking when we arrived, but then again during Ramadan I'm not sure I'd want to sit outside. Within a couple of minutes someone had appeared to take the car and the luggage.

The rooms were excellent. The wife and I had a suite. It was very spacious, clean and modern. Bathroom was the same, impressive rooms for the prices, then again we are used to Dubai prices. The others in the group all said how nice their rooms were.

There are two pools and a very nice beach. The beach appears man-made with lots of soft sand and no rocks. The pool to the left as you exit the hotel is shallow and large, the pool to the right is smaller but substantially deeper. We also noticed it was much cooler. Just what you need in the UAE summer. The cooler pool also has large wooden gazebos with sun loungers but these are very popular and you need to get there early.

Food wise, on the first night we went to Trader Vic's being a fan of that chain elsewhere in the Emirates. It wasn't a "full" Trader Vic's and more of a drinking lounge than a restaurant. The menu was limited (compared to other TV's we've visited in the UAE) but my Beef and Reef was excellent and the cocktails were enjoyed by all. A bit of a dissapointment to us Trader Vic fans who were looking forward to the usual TV experience.

Next night we dined at the pub not fancying the buffet restaurant. Again the food was excellent although the portion size was a little on the small size. It appears the hotel caters more for package guests dining inclusively in the buffet restaurant rather than those on a room-only basis. I think most guests are on a package deal as it was funny to see the poolside and beach empty at 1pm as everyone trooped to get their lunch. Personally I'm not a fan of buffet restaurants in hotels and would prefer to pay more for a proper restaurant. Unfortunatly some of our group are not fans of Lebanese cuisine so I didn't get to try that restaurant which might be what I was looking for.

We took breakfast both times in room and it was excellent. One of the better breakfasts we've had in the Emirates. We got telephone calls from room service after seeking feedback which was nice.

One big bugbear on the trip was the internet access. Yes, Hilton are famous for not providing free internet and charging a premium but at 80dhs for 24 hours, that is just silly.

Another was my wife got sunburnt on the first day (too much time on that lovely beach and in the sea). She wanted to go in the pool with a T-shirt but the lifeguard wouldn't have it. I understand the general rule about cotton goods but she was wearing a normal bathing suit and the T was clean and simply to protect her sunburnt shoulders. Unfortunaly there is not always common sense and logic applied and she was forced to hide under the umbrella.

Overall, an excellent 4-star resort which is great value, let down very slightly by evening restaurant choice if you don't want buffet style, very expensive wi-fi and over-zealous lifeguards. Even with these slight issues we'll probably go back when we want a beach weekend again.

really quiclky in check in and check out , the staff are so friendly . the bed is comfortable not to soft and not to hard . i like it so much .the room and bed are so big , can not image the bed in twins room is queen bed , if in Dubai , u can never have it . The view from the room is nice

Our stay in the hotel was very nice also I and my wife enjoined the water sports and the beach, the staff was very good so only despite the small black ants and the 30 min waiting for arranging the room, and everything was great and I recommend this hotel not only for couples but also for families

If you decide to visit this hotel, you could be either absolutely happy or absolutely disappointed. Depends on the room you get (details below) ...

POSITIVE: The hotel is really beautiful and its beach is absolutely best I have ever been to, with fine sand, clean water and not crowded at all. The hotel rooms are large enough and they have great bathrooms (with bath and shower). The beds are very comfortable and staff is always greeting, smiling and trying to be nice. And I fell in love with the hotel cosmetics (Peter Thomas Roth) :-)

NEGATIVE: The only (but very unpleasant) problem we had during our stay was our room. We arrived at night and when we closed the doors to take a rest and finally go to sleep, we were quite surprised with an annoying noise (it sounded like cutting grass all day and night). Later we found out, that our room was placed directly above an air condition. When we complained about this problem, they told us three times just "I'll send someone to check it" and did absolutely nothing about it and ruined almost three days of our vacation. I suppose we wouldn't get anything at all (meaning another room where we finally could get some sleep) if we wouldn't tell our delegate. Thanks to him we finally got another lovely room and could enjoy our holidays.

TRIP ADVICE: I recommend you to use the hotel shuttle - we went to Ras al Khaimah (for free) and to Dubai (75 AED/person). The Emirates are a wonderful country full of the greatest places on the earth and we couldn't even visit all of them we wanted to! We will definitely return (but because of our experience rather to another hotel).

CHECK-IN: was fast and efficient (it was during the week, so not sure during weekends). We got upgraded to a king deluxe room with sea view without asking anything. The view was breathtaking, especially for the sunset.
ROOM: When we arrived in the room, we could hear a sound coming from the corridor. It was a "beep" (alarm) generated by one of the IT server. I called the reception and an IT guy came and fixed it immediately. For the rest, room was clean. A bit more lights in the main room would be helpful. TV was sometimes loosing connection.
STAFF: very friendly, smiling and ready to help.
FOOD/DRINKS: We took the all-inclusive formula which strangely was not proposed when we checked in: I only found out the second day when I asked the reception why some people were wearing a wristband. It's worth to take it especially if you want to have a couple of beers when relaxing by the pool/beach and wine during dinner. Strangely, the all-inclusive "food" is only applicable at the buffet (in the main building) and not at the restaurant by the beach (you only get discount or very limited offers). Food at the buffet is Ok, not very big though, more 4 stars level but acceptable for few days.
POOL: One of them is very deep, my kids loved it; they kept diving like crazy.
BEACH: clean and huge (it stretches up to the Astoria), so you can have a nice walk. Just watch out for the jelly fish.

A very good five star hotel. The only disappointment was the room 101 we were given at arrival. We strongly recommend not to book this room as it is directly at the huge hotel air condition engine so it is pretty noisy even with the windows closed. After our complaint we moved to a ground floor room close to the pool. The staff is very very friendly and really looking for every opportunity to make the best for us. Special thanks to Inee, she still kept smiling and our children loved her. Perfect service at the table by Vinod and Akash. If you love pasta, Anthony the cook prepares it according to your wish.
When staying in Ras Al Khaimah, it is just a few hours from Oman which is definitely worth a trip.
