We stayed at the hotel in April 2011 with freinds. Our room was very good and the seaview from it was breathtaking! Private beach was very nice. Beach beds and sun umbrellas are free of charge. Food was always god, delicious and different. Tha staff was polite and helpfull. It was our first time in UAE, we can't wait going back!

Stayed for a week with family member. Hotel has a 70-80:ies feel to it, interior design wise. Rooms are still nice, furniture okay, wall to wall carpeting, beds and pillows are soft and comfy. A bit of a musky smell due to previous guests having smoked. Curtains could do with a wash. Sea view from your bed, lovely! Pool freezing cold. Sea warmer, beautiful clear water, and the private beach is very nice. Jetskies for hire. Beach beds and umbrellas are free, and being replaced with fresh ones on our last day, intense work going on. Food was really good sometimes and never bad. Staff nice, friendly, always smiling, but service in restaurant was unstructured, confused and slow. Drinks arrived after meal was nearly finished. Service was at its worst when dinner was served outside in the garden (every other night). The waiters/waitresses seemed to walk around the tables at random, instead of waiting their own tables. Reception staff efficient and competent. Did not care much for the entertainment, hotel guests were mainly Russian and maybe it was in their taste, they tend to take everything over with their prescence alone.
Excursions to Fabulous, Fantastic, Amazing Dubai is 9 kms away and an unforgettable experience! Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: We were on the top 4th floor and sometimes we had no hot water, which might suggest to pick the firs...

Stayed at the hotel over the last weekend. The delux rooms are nice, clean furniture and all luxuries of a 4 star hotel.

The best attraction of the hotel was the poolside, with lush green gardens around it. Beach is also fitted with umbrella's and deck chairs.

There are a couple of night clubs, however, they were dead for the night due to lack of guests. The live performances in the pub & bar were good though.

All in all, a very relaxing over-night stay

Room Tip: Take a deluxe room with sea facing view

we were expecting a bit different hotel - a hotel with the hallways painted a teal color was not our idea of an upper notch hotel.
there was no drainage in the bathroom so sometimes walking in a tad of water because there was an 'overflow' off the edge of the bathtub!
however, the rooms were clean and neat
we spent most of the time at the beach/pool which was excellent
service is excellent and the staff are perfectly attentive.
breakfast was very good, nice variety, but we ate out in the evening as the buffet was not appealing.

We stayed here - actually we've been here a few times and everytime we've enjoied it...

My wife and I come to this hotel a few times a year on holiday and it's great... The price is excellent which is why we keep coming back! The Breakfast buffet is decent - good for the money... The pool is excellent and very relaxing and the garden just tops it off.

We especially like the Shisha bar on the facility which has big screen projectors showing movies and sporting events.

The beach is the best part - private and calm waters makes it a lot of fun all the time.

Highly recommend this place for a quick one-two night break from Dubai/Abu Dhabi.

Only strange thing is the Clubs... We're not clubbers but there is some weird stuff going on down there... a Bangali club, an Indian club... it's just weird... but we weren't bothered by it ever.

Been to a number of hotels before and our experience last weekend prompted me to make a review for the first time.

Just came back from an overnight stay (booked a deluxe room) in this hotel with my friends to celebrate Eid couple of days ago. We decided to have an out-of-town trip away from the bustling streets of Dubai to enjoy the holiday.

I had All I can say is that it was all disappointment. Apart from the clean room, that was it. From the moment we checked in, there was no hotel staff who helped us on our luggage. The elevator seemed to be old as it closes abruptly and does not seem to have a sensor to track if people are entering it.

The beach was ok but if you're looking for a white sand beach then this is not the beach to go to. We were even surprised that there are no sink to basically catch the water coming out from the tub.

The most baffling thing is that they closed the pool as EARLY as 7pm! It was really a dissapointment since the reason we go to hotels and resorts is to actually enjoy the beach, sun and the pool. We did not go there to stay in the room and sleep!

The next morning, they even have the nerve to actually close the lights while we were having our breakfast, whew! Ok it's 10:30 am but there are still lots of guests eating at the restaurant.

I hope management can do something about these things to improve on their service. Just could not help but to blurt out my dissatisfaction we received.
