Beach Hotel by Bin Majid Hotels & Resort
Ranked #15 of 27 Hotels in Ras Al Khaimah

Pros:
Affordable - its a four star and we paid $100 per night for a deluxe room.
Beach - they have private beach, with well maintained beach facilities (chairs, umbrellas, jet ski, banana boat)
Pool - great pool. Pool area is totally covered with greenery; looking at pool setting one can not imagine its UAE.
Breakfast - very good breakfast, with live omlette station which i love

Cons:
Its not brand new
No valet parking
Internet is not free, instead ver expensive

Overall a must visit for love birds!

We were two families on a long weekend of summers, so we selected a hotel with beach and pool facilities. We booked a see-view deluxe room at fourth floor. Room was clean with all possible amenities, bathroom also very clean.Hotel and rooms are getting old but still they have maintained it well. We entered pool & beach in evening and had a good time . Done Jet Skiing in the private beach. beach is well maintained with beach bar/lifegaurd/sun bathing resting chairs/umbrella's etc...Pool was nicely maintained with separate baby pool. All in all good amenities. Front office in charge Ms Rebh was friendly, courteous and accommodating.
Disappointment was:- Breakfast... lot of options but not according to the guest bookings. They should put varieties in the breakfast according to the guest nationalities. Intercom was not functional.

It was my first time when i went to RAK with my family and friends.
was not sure if Hotel is good, i always see the full hotel before check in and as soon as i saw the beach. i could not believe that such a excellent beach exsist in UAE.
Rooms were ok, staff was friendly. though building was bit old.
i will recommend to all especially for excellent beach.

We were 3 couples wih children travelling in a group at a group discount rate. We booked 4 rooms and requested that they should be alongside each other- we were on same hotel floor but spread out. Only internal entry to beach and pool is via fire escape steps. This fire escape is locked after 10pm- a safety violation! Hotel pool area should have lighting so that it can be used in the evening. We were chased out of pool at 7pm and it was not even dark yet. We wanted to walk on the beach after supper and access doors were locked. This is a beach hotel and people come to swim-provide access to hotel guests to use swimming facilities at night as well.
Hotel restaurant and pub menus are limited and very expensive. Service is very slow and staff need reminding to clear the table. No childrens menus available. Room service is expensive and slow! AED 15 for 1 coffee pot of hot water after 30 minutes? A rip-off.!
The Amigos night club was good and food and drinks are good value for money and entertainment was good, but music volume too loud to sit and talk.
The Arabic restaurant and curry restaurant outside the hotel have good menus at reasonable prices and can be recommended.
We had fun as we were in a group but it was not due to any effort on hotel behalf. Would have been disappointed if we had paid full rates.
Please upgrade service or lose a star!

We stayed at Bin Majid Beach Hotel for only one night as we were in town for the RAK Half Marathon. We were a party of four adults in three rooms. We arrived at the hotel quite late after a flight from Doha and a drive from Dubai. The reception staff were very friendly and clearly used to dealing with runners for RAKs big annual event. We were offered a free bus ride to the start line and wake up calls.
The rooms are basic, a little dated, yet clean and had everything that was needed. The beds were comfortable with nice pillows and linens.
One standout feature were the amazing mini bar prices. I don't think I've seen such fair and decent prices anywhere. Well done Bin Majid.

Stayed for a week with family member. Hotel has a 70-80:ies feel to it, interior design wise. Rooms are still nice, furniture okay, wall to wall carpeting, beds and pillows are soft and comfy. A bit of a musky smell due to previous guests having smoked. Curtains could do with a wash. Sea view from your bed, lovely! Pool freezing cold. Sea warmer, beautiful clear water, and the private beach is very nice. Jetskies for hire. Beach beds and umbrellas are free, and being replaced with fresh ones on our last day, intense work going on. Food was really good sometimes and never bad. Staff nice, friendly, always smiling, but service in restaurant was unstructured, confused and slow. Drinks arrived after meal was nearly finished. Service was at its worst when dinner was served outside in the garden (every other night). The waiters/waitresses seemed to walk around the tables at random, instead of waiting their own tables. Reception staff efficient and competent. Did not care much for the entertainment, hotel guests were mainly Russian and maybe it was in their taste, they tend to take everything over with their prescence alone.
Excursions to Fabulous, Fantastic, Amazing Dubai is 9 kms away and an unforgettable experience! Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: We were on the top 4th floor and sometimes we had no hot water, which might suggest to pick the firs...
