We were celebrating our anniversary in the Lexington Grill restaurant. The staff made us feel very welcome and special right from the start of the evening.
As a starter we shared scallops without complains, but nothing exceptional either. As a main course we selected Wague beef from the ala carte menu. Wague sirloin flamed with Jack Daniels was very good, but the real highlight of the mains was long-cooked veal cheek which was exceptionally tender and tasty. It's always a pleasure to have great steak!
The real pleasant surprise was when the staff acknowledged our anniversary by handing over a hand-written card and adding a dessert especially prepared for us (at that point we had already ordered two desserts). So we had a three course dessert menu! :-D Desserts were really good too, especially the chocolate pavé.
We had a lovely chat with Eric Turgeon (chef de cuisine) about his background and former career. Our waiter Pras, who was really professional and kind, made us feel really special during the dinner.
We definitely recommend the restaurant. A bit pricy but worth visiting, especially because of the excellent service!
