My family and I spent 1 night (only !!!) at Rixos and the experience was great, we had an amazing time with excellent staff and great comfort !
Check-in : Nice and welcoming staff.
Room : our 2 bedroom suite was AMAZING with stunning view and great comfort, a lot of space for all of us (5 adults and 1 baby) and the housekeeping staff were very accomodating and trying their best to provide us with baby cot and extra bed within the half an hour we checked in. Thank you !
Spa: great welcome. even though all the equipment and infrastructure is not yet perfectly ready, the service of its staff makes the spa a great experience. We can see a great potential once everything is running.
Restaurants : remember to make your booking for all the restaurants before you arrive so you can have the tables outside and at the time you want. Even if you are early, the manager of the Meat point will welcome you and will make sure you spend a great evening. Which was the case. The service is very good, smiling and professional staff, which is impressive after only 2 weeks of operation. The quality of the food is great for when you know that it is all inclusive.
the all Day dining restaurant has a great variety of dishes to suit everyone, from breakfast until dinner.
Facilities: amazing beach and a great atmosphere around the pool, especially for families and teenagers. Not recommended for relaxing times :)
Not everything was running, but you can tell that the place is ready to welcome the 100% occupancy.

Overall: great service and efforts from the smiling staff, which is very appreciated.

Thank you, a place to recommend definitely !!!

Room Tip: the ones with sea view, of course !

We arrived a week after the official opening and so a lot of the initial teething problems had been resolved and all but one of the restaurants had opened.
As stated previously, this hotel has superb facilities which will absolutely blow you away! When you enter the main Reception you immediately get the impression of opulence and space - which is continued throughout the property. You will be greeted by one of two delightful hostesses dressed in Turkish National Costumes, who will offer you Turkish Delight (reflecting the hotel's ownership) and either a fruit drink or selection of hot beverages, depending upon your arrival time.
Check in was a little slow compared with most 5 star hotels in the area, but this faded into insignificance when you were shown to our rooms - they were huge; very well equipped with high quality furnishings and fittings, including a 42 inch television! OK there is no bath but the walk in shower is superb. The bed , like most in the Emirates, could sleep four, yes I mean very big and is extremely comfortable, including the pillows.
The Buffet Restaurant (Seven Heights) is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The salad and suchi section is incredible both in terms of choice and quality. It is kept replenished and fresh at all times. Adjacent to this is the "bakery" you will think you have died and gone to bread and cake heaven (which also means the diet goes out the window!!!!) Absolutely fabulous. As stated by others previously, the main course vary in quality although here again there is a very wide range of choice, including pasta, a good range of fish, Doner Kebabs, grills and a variety of stews and curries. The vegetables dishes are strong and there is always a potato dish as well as the mandatory French fries
Any perfect meal is completed with a desert and you will not be disappointed by the range or quality of this buffet - fresh fruit abound, ice creams, a chocolate fountain, gateaux, mousses, speciality sweets, crumbles - the variety is endless. You can even get a range of coffees and teas to round off your meal or you can adjourn to the fabulous non alcoholic bar next to the reception to experience a truly delightful offering in tranquil and relaxing surroundings

We visited most of the a la carte restaurants - the Italian, South American, Seafood, Toast and Burger ( left the Asian and Turkish as they are not to our palette) and we never had a duff meal, indeed we thoroughly enjoyed each one and would recommend them highly
I have to also commend the drinks in this hotel as they are all premium brands, you can expect Kumala wine from South Africa, a wonderful French wine and a Spanish Merlot - all as the house wines!!!!!!!! The spirits are of a similar high quality
It would be extremely remiss of me not to mention the wonderful staff who will always greet you with a smile to melt any heart and despite coming from 48 different countries they give the Rixos its identity and they will endeavour to meet your every whim. Even the Managers, who are always to be seen !walking the job are friendly and approachable. Well done everyone
The Spa opened while we were there and I can honestly say this facility is one of the best I have ever experienced in all my travels. Wonderful facilities, spacious, varied, private, with a good range of treatments at reasonable prices.
Previous reviews sum up the pools accurately. The beach is the one disappointment as it is composed of crushed shells - come on the UAE is based upon sand so why not on the beach ? That said, there are sun beds and umbrellas as far as the eye can see so there is no need to rush and reserve either. The evening entertainment is wonderful and must not be missed
So all in all a perfect destination, well managed and definitely very good value for money

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are better avoided. The views are not superb from any room

We arrived the day after opening for 10 days. Literally, Staff in all departments, including, guest relations, housekeeping, pool service, restaurants et al, could not do enough for us, throughout our stay. A number of facilities were yet to be opened. Many initial niggles promptly corrected.
Pool heated to a non shock temperature. However, we needed to bag a bed by the pool before 9.00am, many "claimed" remained unoccupied till past 10.30 . Only 1 tower, out of 3 serviced by these pools, was open. The beach has hundreds of beds.
Majority of guests were Russian many with young families.
One miss representation on hotel fact sheet which shows a bath in the bathroom...not available .... only showers . If known we would not have booked.
Food by the pool and in al la carte restaurants (those that were open ) of a high quality. In the buffet main restaurant, good salad selection, fantastic deserts, but the main courses on offer will be a disappointment to those used to Dubai 5 star hotel buffets.
Organised pool activities and accompanying noise... All day, Don't expect to drop off in the sun unless on the beach.

Live Entertainment every evening. The night club looks to international standards when open!
Not 45 minutes from airport more like minimum of 1 hour
Not sure what ULTRA INCLUSIVE is, but it suggests something better than all inclusive, how ever that is defined.

When everything is open it will be a great Hotel for fun loving partying people and families

Room Tip: Some sea view rooms could be a littly noisy as they overlook the delivery entrance

Called in as we were on holiday at the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa and we spent the day here to compare the quality of the hotels and we found this hotel to be absolutely fabulous in comparison! Fantastic in every way, fabulous service, accommodation, food, facilities, etc. what more could you want. I went with my wife and we wanted for nothing, great day & would recommend to all! We have now booked an 8 night holiday for May 2014 as this will be our base now on for holidays in the Middle East!
