7 of us stayed for 6 nights and as we travel worldwide 5 star and in this region that's Burj, Jumeirah Beach/Emirates palace/grosvenor house we have expectations. Arriving tired and grumpy on Saturday morning we were less than overjoyed when the previously requested early available rooms were not available, also the request for an early dinner reservation not accepted because (hello?) we did not yet have a room number (!) a visit to Guest relations sorted things out and afterwards it all got better.
The rooms were excellent and spacious with separate rooms and bathrooms although internet a bit wonky.
The restaurants were a)meat point excellent, good enough to go twice b)fish bone also very good c) Turkish excellent with great attentive service d) Italian good food spoiled by poor late service e) Asian restaurant bad start as our (reserved table) was given away to ignorant and aggressive party of Russians who aggressively occupied it in advance of us and then refused to leave ( pity restaurants don't stand their ground here, it wouldn't happen in London).
The beach was ok,the daytime entertainment pretty good. The comments about cocktails and branded drinks not included in ae package are rubbish, I regularly had Bombay Saphire gins and many cocktails were included.overall it was very nice, particularly for price paid so well recomended. Also Mr Pinto on reception gave excellent induction.

First time booked an all inclusive package in a hotel.

Very interesting when you can drink, all kinds of beverages and eat anything even room service and not pay or sign any papers, less headAce looks like every thing is free.

The food is very good and service well maintained, drinks on all kinds are good brands.

The entertainment in the hotel is the exciting one, non stop of activities for the kids and adults, football, basketball, water ball, volley.
They also have a very fun area for kids.

Night life also very interesting.

Have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Rixos.Room was spacious and very clean as was the hotel. Must mention Swarmy who cleaned our room, nothing was to much trouble for him,also Patricia on front desk who was very helpful,
Food was very good plenty of choice whatever time you went. Turkish a la carte well worth a visit. Fortunately we prefer the beach as there was very little chance of getting a bed around the pool as these were reserved from early morning as per usual. I think the pool area is to small for the hotel. As it was 40plus degrees it is cooler on beach where there is a breeze.
The hotel staff are lovely always have a smile and welcome for you Please be respectful to the staff, they work very long hours in very hot conditions.
Was disapointed in lack of entertainment in evenings, had a trio singing a few nights. There are 2 outdoor stages but nothing happening on them.
Overall we had a lovely time and can not fault the hospitality of the team at this hotel. I would reccomend this hotel to friends.

This was a superb week in a lovely hotel, our deluxe room was fantastic large with a balcony overlooking the pool and views to the beach and spotlessly clean. We found all of the restautants served great food, the seven seas has an amazing selection which was replenished constantly and right up to closing. We ate in all of the speciality restautants (except Fish) and were pleased with each, possibly still a little to be learned on timings and serving but nothing to complain about. A very special thank you to the team at the Mohito Bar these guys have the service down to a tee and offer a great experience in drinks and friendliness. The stage show on the two nights we watched was of an exceptionally high standard and we really loved the bendy acrobats. The only comment I would make is that if you have rules, enforce them it was a little frustrating to leave the pool to head for that child free oasis on the beach only to find children there too! Also if you state you will not allow sunbeds to be reserved then don't, nothing worse than wandering around looking at all the reserved sunbeds at 9am when you have categorically stated this isn't allowed. That said we still had an amaazing time perhaps now the teething period is over it's time to look at the offerings outside of the hotel ie day trips etc.

Amazing staff (Manel, Amar, Prabesh, Dipendra to name some) did so much to make things pleasant.

Hotel is very nice, grounds and pool very clean. Premium rooms are nice but no good for a family of four. Even though a free upgrade room it was an issue to get an extra bed... didn't get one in the end!

You have to book to eat a la carte... the restaurant we wanted (meatpoint) wouldn't allow children, that's nonsense really, couldn't believe it. Really disappointed and didn't get to go.

The beach is not great... hard not sandy, sharp stones/shells and lots of jelly fish washing up.. went once and was enough.

Good for kids, kids club, activities, disco etc. Pool is temp controlled.

Food good, all inclusive is well offered, the weather is hot but loved it and the free wifi is a great touch.

Great place to be if things click into place.

PS no mosquito probs, a few flies here and there but by no means a major issue.

First And Most Importantly A big Thank you goes to Mr. Ramy Shaky (Duty Manager) for his pleasant personality and great help to make our experience most enjoyable.

The Hotel is brand new and you could feel/ see that in every interaction you make.

The Food is great and the staff are helpful with a task on their head to make you feel special towards your stay.

Its a truely feast of festivities with the blended cuisines, number of nationalities and the cultures blast that you get delightfully exposed to.

As its still within the soft opening, there some fine tuning that they must overcome but with the amount of load that they care currently managing, I reckon they are doing a very good job.

Room Tip: If you are travelling with Kids or more than 3 adults try their family suites its amazing especially...

Just came back from a 7 day break at the hotel.

The hotel has only been open since February and experience is still being gained by managers and staff. I do feel the management are lacking in organisational skills they need do get more involved with directing their staff. Note to management please do not forget the beach area, I noticed attempts are being made to clean the beach but again no organisation, no one came near to our area at all. Also the showers need attention such as broken knobs etc and the area tidied on a daily basis in fact the last day a tourist started clearing the sand away from the shower floor area and the lifeguard took over the cleaning process and it looked a 100% better! this needs doing daily.

Please don't think the hotel is awful it's not by any means just hoping these comments come to the managers attention but:-

POSITIVES
Rooms are very large and spacious.
Minibar - although only have soft drinks and lager this is welcome, restocked daily. (The haribos were a nice touch)
Food - this was the best point for us please do book the Al a carte restaurants the food is great, the best one overall for us was the Meatpoint foods such as rack of lamb, steak with a creme brûlée to die for. Look out for Suraj whose service is fantastic constant attention all the time. In the daytime the Toast and Burger is a must as well, burgers great and spring rolls.
Transfer - our hotel transfer to and from the airport went without a hitch great not to have to get on a coach for a change.

If you are looking for a relaxing enjoyable holiday the a Rixos will be all you need x
