Just back from our second trip to Hilton Resort & Spa RAK and we never go to the same place twice but this Hotel is fabulous. It's a superb place to escape to if you want to enjoy perfect weather (37c) and warm seas (31c), plenty of scrumptious food and staff who genuinely care if you are having a lovely time or not. It's peaceful with couples and young families sharing this huge space in harmony. The bars and restaurants are plentiful and the whole resort has so much space you can pick a whole new area to sunbathe, swim or dine in everyday for over a week if you wanted to. Special thanks to Monty, Sugar and Deacora but I hope all of the staff are aware of the difference they made to our holiday. Thank you; we will be back!

Room Tip: We have been lucky enough to have a sea view both visits. Room 3312 was perfect for us.

We chose this resort for the weather during October more than anything and we were not disappointed.

The hotel is clean and all the staff were extremely friendly. I arrived on my birthday and a birthday cake was delivered to our room which was perfect.

We were in the Garden Terrace rooms which are spacious and were more than adequate for our stay. The cleaner was very attentive and even apologised for not being able to wish me happy birthday on the day we arrived! Petals on the bed on a couple of days just makes you smile.

The All Inclusive option is definitely worth the money as the food is fantastic and the alcoholic drinks are all branded (first time I have come across this).

My only gripe, and it really is a small one, is that the Dome Lounge service was not on a par with the rest of the resort. The area is very large for the staff to cover but even when it wasn't busy we waited a long time from ordering drinks to actually receiving them. Also they got my order wrong on more than one occasion but this is not a complaint just an observation.

Don't expect to be able to walk around the resort as there is nothing in the surrounding area.

If you are looking for a relaxing break to recharge your batteries then this is the perfect solution.

All in all a fantastic stay. Staff attentive, beaches stunning, weather perfect in October and hotel, beaches and rooms extremely clean. Would definitely return.

The hotel was the same as last year. Generally very good, but not excellent, although I have to say that its family friendly and my children had really nice time.

Some really nice staff who looked after us. Masood the Manager of the lunchtime restaurant by the pool remebered us from last year and ensured all was excellent every day. Thanks to him and his team.

The Asian restaurant was open this time and was very good.

We booked the room and then paid for the all inc locally. This works well, but its a little overpriced. We just got a taxi from the rank outside the airport that was big enough for 4 with lots of cases! It only cost about 220AED - £45 and so much cheaper than pre paying from an operator.

Thanks to the hotel for delivering another very good stay.

Just want to say that me and my family enjoyed our stay in Hilton Resort.
Almost everything there is for us pretty close to perfect... Nice rooms, excellent
food, service and friendliness in the Hotel... all in all to be warmly recommended.

Apart from the following part

The only reason the score for service is just "average" is the watersports center
in the resort. It is oviously operated by an external contractor called Arabian Diver.

The personal there seems to us not really interested in giving the same kind of customer
service as we experienced in the rest of the resort.

However we decided let's give this guy's a chance and booked two jetsky rides on afternoon.
After a short basic intro about security rules and so on they let us go without guide in the sea.

After the engine of my wife's jetsky stopped about 100 meters from the beach it tooks first a while till the guy on the beach recognized, that we are in troubble. After a couple of minutes he came with another jetsky out to take my wife and her jetsky back to the beach.

Then the "real "professionalism" of that people started. they tried to "fix" the jetsky. There was oviously somewhere a leak and water came in the engine area under the seat.

Their "solution" to fix that problem was putting the jetsky on a side to get the water meanwhile mixed with oil out. They have not been thinking about capturing that water/oil mix somehow. Instead they let it go directly in the sea !!!

When the engine was back running they had even the courage to offer us to continue our
ride, wich we refused...

After that "expercience" we had a closer look at the rental equipment they have and basicly
all looks let's say "very well used"...

In short words "this is not what we can call good customer service, professionality or whatever else..." and it does not match at all with the rest of the hotel....

Hope there will be soon a positive change.

I recently stayed in this hotel for 7 nights.

Some of the comments I have read baffled me, the hotel was lovely, all the staff were extreamly friendly and helpful.

The facilities were geat too, I would really struggle to find a fault.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff took great pride in keeping it that way.

I would stay here again without a doubt.

We stayed in the largest suite as 3 adults and 3 kids, the suite is divided into two rooms, and is perfectly clean and comfy. we came with another family who was also promoted to a mini suite, or whatever they call it.
The hotel is in the centre of the city, and there's a nearby shopping mall, which includes all types of restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel.
the buffet breakfast was ok, although it was chaotic as the hour approached 10, not the hotel's fault though.
the swimming pool was great but there were a lot of kids, so we went to the other hilton (resort and spa) which has a lot of swimming pools, and a very nice beach. The hotel offered a bus to the resort every hour, but we went by car since we live in Dubai.
in general there's no complaints, it's a very reasonably priced hotel, not 5 stars for sure, but I don't like to whine when I find the value for money.
I recommend this hotel if you're going on a low budget.

The Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa is such a wonderful resort! We went for 2 nights with our 2 children and had a fabulous time. We stayed in one of the beach villas which are located on a private beach. The room was great as was the beach. It was clean and the water was clear and beautiful. We even saw a variety of sea life! (crabs, turtles, fish) Our kids loved spotting them all. We had a fantastic meal at Piaceri Da Gustare, the Italian restaurant. There is so much to do at the resort that you will never get board. All of the staff said "hello" and were very welcoming and helpful. We were reluctant to go back when we had to return to Abu Dhabi. We will definitely return.
