We stayed at this resort in May of this year. We booked premium all inclusive. Which was great (Except a couple of points a will raise later).
We arrived and where booked in straight away, my mother and father booked the holiday only a fortnight before we left and when they asked if there room could be closer to us this was not a problem and they were reallocated a deluxe sea view room 2 doors away from us.
As it had been a long day we went to the bar and I asked for a "Peroni" but I was told that this is not on the All inclusive, I statd that I was on Premium All Inclusive but still this lager was not on the Package?!
So this Hotel has an All Inclusive Package and a Premium All Inclusive Package but Peroni is not on the list, but Corona (which is the same price about £7per bottle is)??????

As we arrived late and had missed dinner, the receptionist stated that food would be brought to the room, which it was, but 4 very small sandwiches (two piece of bread, filled and cut into 4) isn't what I would call meal for 2 adults and two children..
Deluxe sea view rooms are very spacious and cleaned each day.
The following morning we all went for breakfast and the Hotel offers a great variety of foods and breakfast through out the holiday was great and thanks to Juan for his service each day a credit to the central dining area.
The pool area was fabulous for children and a life guard was always there ( even in 100 degree heat with no parasol, HILTON please sort this out these guys are looking after your customers all day in serious heat please supply them with a dedicated parasol!!!)
Most of our Lunches were at the BBQ restaurant and service was great you really get a personal service here each day Abu and Sagar gave a great service, a very relaxed restaurant.
Evening meals in the main restaurant were very busy and I always felt rushed. We also dined at the four Al a Carte restaurants which were fabulous.
Altogether a great Hotel but sort out the All Inclusive and Premium Packs.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at the Hilton Ras. The hotel is perfect and impossible to find any negatives. The staff are so helpful and accomodating whether it be in the restruant, bars or the person looking and cleaning your room or the beach towel collection point. Plenty of sunbeds and pools, beach is immaculate. The virgin rep on site is so helpful and friendly.Great position for a a very relaxing holiday-it is outside Dubai city but you can do a day trip like we did to see the sights (arranged via Jimmy the virgin rep)

Returned back from Hilton RAK Resort & Spa on Saturday and am missing my 'friends' there already!!!!

Firstly i will start with the positives:

Check in was quick and within an hour of arriving we had been served breakfast and was sitting by the pool. As we always request the Villas we tend to 'hang out' during the day at the Dhow Bar. Since last year there has been a shake up in staff and it has certainly paid off. Particular thanks go to Mervyn, John, Monty, Bakta, Pawan, Subash, The Chefs and pool boys. These wonderful guys work tirelessly to make sure that everyone enjoys a wonderful stay and Dhow Bar experience. Service and quality cannot be improved upon. Ayman the F & B Manager has done wonders with his department and the changes he has implemented are evident in their entirety. We ate Breakfast every morning in the restaraunt that is at night the Passage to Asia as this is close by to the Villas - again the staff there were amazing. Also i need to mention the Al Bahar restaurant where we were invited to a lunch by Ayman - he made sure we experienced a traditional Arabic Mezze, served by Masood ( our old friend from the Maarid restauraunt ) and his staff - truly amazing experience - Thanks Ayman!!!!!!

Whilst on holiday we celebrated our anniversary. Again the extra special touches were so touching. And we celebrated that evening in the Passage to Asia, where the staff there gave us a truly lovely night to remember. From flowers to cake, to wine and cards - gosh how special was it...........and even on our last night we ate again in the Passage to Asia and we were presented with yet another cake decorated with a 'Thank you' - to US!!!!!!! Imagine these lovely people thanking US for being guests there..........It is US that is truly humbled believe me.

Our room was serviced daily by Frances - and we never wanted for anything - his attention to detail is faultless'

We ended every evening in the very sophisticated and relaxing Lobby Bar again the staff are without fault and work so very hard under immense pressure at times, remembering your drinks and sevice with a smile.

The hotel itself is immaculate and is a credit to the Hilton name.

We visit every year for what we consider our Rest & Recuperation week, we do nothing other than eat the wonderful food, relax in this wonderful resort and catch up with the staff who now we consider to be friends.

Mr Claudel ( hotel manager ) you should be so proud of all your staff and next year cant come fast enough for us.

Now the negatives:

We had to leave :-(

The rudness of some of the guests staying at the hotel particulary the locals who use this hotel as a beach club. They can be as rude as they want to me - i can stick up for myself!!!! But the staff sadly are unable to do this as they would probably be fired and so have to take all kind of rudeness. These are people that are not so lucky as us and need to work, often to support their families and improve there education and job prospects - so be nice please and you will be rewarded by brill service and a fab smile.

The sun didnt follow us home - though please people, again this is of no fault of the hotel!!!!!

Thankyou again and see you next year, unless our numbers come up on the lottery, in which case will be much sooner!!!!!!

We have visited this hotel on many occasions and it never fails to impress, we have travelled all over the world but RAK is a GEM, where will will definetely return.
Thanks to Jacques Claudel for making sure that he made us so welcome, and attended to all our requests.
Ayman from F&B is a credit to the hotel and always goes that extra mile to make sure that he maintains the level of standard that is expected from the hilton brand.
He has turned the dhow bar around into a fab place to spend the day, supervised by Mervyn with his staff (monty..john..pawan..bakta..subash), this bar and food outlet is excellent, not forgetting the chefs.
Big Thanks go to the staff and chefs at Passage to Asia, where they went that extra mile when we dined there for our anniversary, and even when we dined on our last night they then excelled once again.
This hotel is a credit to the hilton brand and the management should be proud of the staff working at this hotel.
We will definetely be returning AGAIN

My wife and I live in Dubai and were looking for a weekend break and decided to stay for two nights 31st May - 2nd June at the Ras Al Khaimah Hilton - not to be mixed up with the Hilton Resort and Spa, Ras al Khaimah. It was probably one night too long!
Check in was a fairly slow affair and we were given a room not overlooking the creek or pool, on the hotel shady side. It felt as if it had not been used for some time and the constant 'wind tunnel noise' - which only stopped when you opened the door - was too much. We were (eventually) moved to a similar room on the same floor but with a partial creek view and with sunlight through the window. better but not by much.
The rooms are a fair size but the furniture does have a dated feel to it, as do the bathrooms which should be modernised.
The first afternoon was spent at the hotel poolside and the attendent (Hur) was very attentative in ensuring we had a parasol to protect us from the direct sun. The pool is a good size and the views across the creek as the sun sets is very nice.
It was very noticeable that there were many people present who were on an All Inclusive (AL) basis and wearing Blue wristbands to show this and the beer to be had was 'Tuborg cans' by the poolside (no thanks).
The choice was resturants was limited to two and the main buffet resurant is more like a canteen. The ambience is poor; the dress code allows anything to go (despite it saying differently) and the hustle and bustle, in fact noise, just too much too bear.
A member of staff came around on an evening and provided you with additional bottled water and shampoo etc if you needed them. Nice touch.
Breakfast is a forgetable experience, simply not enjoyable. It reminded me of an old Butlins holiday camp with small children, still in their pyjamas running freely around the whole of the resturant screaming and shouting whilst their parents did nothing to prevent it. The food was only satisfactory and got this grading only because of the live cooking staion where you could get a nice omellette cooked. The staff appeared bored and despite the efforts of Gayan ( he was the most helpful), some were quite rude and could not raise a smile (Malika).
The coach that takes you to the Hilton resport beach Club is to be avoided if at all possible. It is an old bus (not coach) and the short journey would not be a unpleasant one. We drove our own car. The Hilton Resort and Spa is a different world in terms of the facilities that it offers and deserves it 5 star rating. Please note that drinks are very expensive here and if not on an All inclusive basis, it will soon mount up. The Spa does get very busy and we found ourselves having to search for a sun bed.
After a pleasant day at the Hilton Spa resort, we returned to the Hilton Creek and I had the intention of enjoying a few quiet moments in the lounge reading the newspapers. Alas, I found children playing football inside the hotel in front of the lifts - unchecked - and so my hope for peace and quiet were dashed.
We decided to eat out on the second night such was our disappointment on the first night.
Breakfast on the second morning was a repeat of the first night and truly is a poor affair. Malika still did not manage a smile when serving us although she seemed to have some favourites whom she looked after.
Attempts to read the morning papers were again dashed by small children noisily hitting the keys on the lounge piano, making a terrible din. The intervention - on demand - on the hotel management only brought about a short respite and very soon it was happening again.
Too much, we checked out well before 12 noon and took a pleasant drive back to Dubai.
All in all, this Hotel is past its best and is not a good representative of the Hilton brand. It is spoilt by the unchecked behaviour of noisy children; outdated room furniture and fittings; drab resturant facilities and some staff members who need to recognise the terms quality of service.

Room Tip: One with a Creek/pool view.

The Hilton Ras Al Khaimah is a wonderful resort. We relaxed and had a very good time. The Rooms were very nice and the beach and the pools are also exellent.
The Restaurants are very good. You can choose so many things to eat.
But there is one thing that would make me more happy. Please buy more Sun Umbrella. Sometimes i missed a place in the shadow.

The Hilton Ras al Khaimah is a good resort to spend the holiday.

K. from Germany :)

We booked 10 days in dubai with virgin holidays and we found out at the hotel that this is not in fact Dubai but another emirate altogether, the transfer is long hour half and is abit of an eye opener as it does look like you are in beruit or something and its something that could put u off, but once u have done all that and you get to the resort omg it is fantastic the delux sea view room was great the service they provide is tip top food great and staff i have to say even better..overal i think this is one of my fave hotels in the world, i think people who book this hotel should just maybe more aware that its not Dubai and another place but dont let that put u off its great for a chilled holiday without having excursions galore so if this is what ya want put your feet up and book this hotel and its good price too....check out the waiting staff too at the Maarid restaurant they are wonderfull...

Room Tip: Delux sea view rooms on upper levels are best

Indeed, our resort is located in Ras Al Khaimah, one hour away from Dubai airport.
