I enjoyed my stay at Hilton went for a 4 day break & wish it was longer ... no problem with anything really efficient check in / check out good housekeeping service knocked on my door 1st morning & asked me what time i would like to hae my room cleaned ? that was a 1st for me .. very nice
Nice staff in general Restaurants & bars ok not bad choice
This Hotel has just a swimming pool & small gym but the best thing is they have the Hilton Resort & Spa just 5 mins away where they provide free shuttle on the hour to all guests which has an amazing beach area / Volley ball & you can use all facilities free
this made my holiday & would recommend it .. otherewise could have been a bit boring .all in all nice stay .

Having stayed in dubai last year at le royal meridian, I found the hilton a real good value hotel. this hotel is the only one you can stay all inclusive and anyone will tell you dubai is very expensive to eat and drink, a glass of wine around ten pounds!! the hilton takes all the stress off you as soon as you walk in the door and I have never been away before and spent as little as I did and had a fantastic stay. We had 915 pool villa which we were upgraded too, which was really kind of them, rooms were superb. You can eat at the main medina resturant daily for all your meals but we ate there just for breakfast and it is a true hilton breakfast experience!! we ate lunch everyday at the beach dhow bar and was looked after eveyday by giovanni, who was fantastic. you get 70 dhr against every meal at the other resturants on the resort, so we choose that every night and you get your drinks in the all inclusive offer anyway. Go and see jimmy the virgin rep and he will look after you for your stay and there is free internet in his office which was a good way to keep in touch with home. I would stay here again as it was a lovely hotel and such a beautiful resort. If anyone is reading this and is going to stay there can you please go up to the beach dhow bar and there is a grass walk way above some rocks and whilst we were there we were feeding a stray ginger kitten everyday we called ginge!! she was so sweet and lives in the rocks, I wish i could of brought her home, she loves sausages!! please let me know if you see here!! planning my next visit already!!

I am surprised by the recent mixed reviews on this excellent hotel. We spent seven nights there after Christmas and were delighted with most aspects of the hotel. The service is excellent and you are made to feel welcome. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars with quality and varied food. The rooms are large and well equipped and the number of loungers on the very large beach is plentiful.
In addition, the New Year celebrations were a great success thanks to the dinner put on by Piacere de Gusto.

At the end of a tough year we needed a really relaxing destination with guaranteed (as near as possible) sunshine, peace and quiet plus good food and drink. When we found the Hilton Resort & Spa at Ras al Khaimar it looked to be everything we wanted and it did not disappoint.

We left the hotel only twice, once to try out the nearby "souk" - don't bother, it is not a real souk, just a lot of shops selling touristy rubbish - and once to the local shopping mall, which was small but had some good shops and we found a few bargains.

The hotel is in a large complex and if your aim is relaxation, you really do not feel any great need to go out during a weeks stay . A stroll down the beach (about 1/2 mile) to the additional restaurants feels like a mini excursion, we highly recommend the beach bar about half way along for great lunches, using your all-inclusive allowance is best value here, of all the restaurants, as we found we could both enjoy a really good meal and come well within our allowance.

On that subject, we would strongly advise the all-inclusve option, the drinks price list was a little scary to view, we were very thankful we didn't have to pay for anything. There were lots of great bars to try out, our favourite was through the reception out onto a lovely balcony with waiter service, a great range of cocktails and a great view.

As a pair of foodies we tried most of the alternative restaurants. The food in the buffet was extremely good but like anywhere you tire of it after a few days. We loved the South American eat all you can barbeque-meat restaurant. Don't be put off by the "eat all you can" label, this is a really fun and different eating experience, you can have as much or as little as you like and it is all absolutely delicious. The fish restaurant between the pools and the beach was also very good. We were less impressed by the Thai/Japanese at the far end of the beach and would not bother going again. For all but the beach bar we paid a little extra to "eat out" but worth it and not a huge price to pay over your allowance.

The beach is lovely, the sea warm and crystal clear and the pools all very good. We tended to park ourselves near the salt water pool which was huge, child free so very quiet and tranquil, and also included the swim up bar! It was not temp controlled so was a "refreshing" dip when the sun got too hot. The other pools were warm and luxurious. Sunbeds and umbrellas were plentiful and towels provided. We enjoyed temps of 27-30 degrees during our stay in late November which was just perfect.

The gym & spa are also worth a mention, an extremely good gym with plenty of modern equipment a with a view of the sea while you work out. The spa was lovely though treatment were very expensive.

Overall we really loved our week here, there were excursions available if you needed some excitement, we just chose not to do them (nothing about a city tour of Dubai remotely tempted us to leave the pool) - instead we enjoyed the benefits of a relaxing, fabulous hotel.

I stayed at the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa for 1 week during November 2010 with a friend, the hotel itself is very modern, with very clean spacious rooms. Staff are very friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Unfortunately the holiday was ruined by the rental of a jet ski on the resort, the water sports are not provided via Hilton despite them being on their resort. They are provided by the company 'Arabian Diver'

In summary:

1. Friend decides to rent a jet ski
2. Jet ski breaks down in the middle of the sea
3. After 15 minutes of being stranded in the middle of the sea, waves push the jet ski into the rock face causing damage to the jet ski
4. Arabian Diver staff finally notice my friend is stranded in the sea and go to rescue him & the jet ski.
5. Friend & jet ski are brought back, Arabian Diver staff call the company owner "Adel Khatib" to inform him of the damaged jet ski
6. Adel Khatib then calls Hilton manager, Hilton security & Hilton beach manager to the water sports centre, along with a jet ski engineer to investigate the damage caused to the jet ski.

We where informed by Adel that the police had been informed as this is "protocol" in Dubai, and in short if we didn't pay for any repairs to the jet ski we would be taken to the police station for it to be handled there.

In short my friend had to pay over £1800 GBP pounds in repairs for a jet ski, that he did not damage. There are also concerns that Adel Khatib/Arabian Diver does not have the nsurance they should have and as such unless you want to be made to feel like a criminal, have your holiday ruined due to a jet ski you didn't break I would *STRONGLY* avoid using Arabian Diver & the watersports facilities at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa.

As the water sports facilities are not provided by Hilton, they where not interested in helping us at all.

I would recommend the hotel to others, however do not use Arabian Diver or the water sports facilities!
