Nice setting by the canal in Al Qasba, Sharjah. Lots of Lebanese restaurants in Sharjah/Dubai, but this one takes some beating. Very well cooked and presented food in comfortable furniture, whether inside or out. As some other contributors have noted, the service can be 'variable', but seems to me that's not unusual in the UAE, in any customer service scenario.

While you can get great Lebanese food just about anywhere, what makes this place stand out is it's canal side location. The terrace next to the canal was a very pleasant setting.

The food is a bit pricey, but it was delicious!

Shababeek is a Lebanese restaurant, one of many restaurants by the Al Qasba canal in Sharjah. It's a nice restaurant with indoor seating and outdoor by the canal among date palms and a few other trees.
The food is decent. A little more expensive than it's worth. I tried the Soujouk (Lebanese sausages sautéed in garlic, lemon and coriander), Lamb Kebabs, and Potato Harra (fried cubes of potato, tossed in lemon, olive oil and garlic).
The outdoor seating is nice in the evenings when it is pleasant between October and March.

The restaurant has a good and unusual decor ...the food was also good ,atleast watever I ordered for...But I cannot help without saying this...For any Shababeek guy reading this review...Good service does not mean that you appear presentable....Good service depends on your behaviour and attitude to your customers...We went to the restaurant at 11pm during Ramadan and the waiter was so rude that he said..."u finish ur food or not...we will be closing in time"...and since we were starving and did not want to hunt for another place we settled down...they attended us with honey bee stinged faces, rude, rushing and remained unheard ...and the hilarious part of it was, they gave us the bill wen we just started off with the main course telling that they need to close their systems...I infact pity the owner of the restaurant for having such unloyal and undedicated staff who just wants to finish off work and rush home....i really am annoyed with them....

Having said about the negative....the food and decor are indeed good positives that hopefully pay off for its terrible staff....
