This nice and cosy place is where we found the real Uruguayan food. The menu gives you a chance to tase different cheeses, sausages, pies etc, and you can also choose to taste different wines from local producers. The little restaurant doesn't take creditcards, but you can pay in local pesos, Argentinian pesos or US dollars. Luckily our waiter spoke English, so we got good information about the local products.
