I had brocilli pizza and red wine, two things I was unsure of but absolutely loved.
The meals were cheap but very good quality. The atmosphere was lovely as the place was filled with locals.
The waiter was lovely and laughed at our communication breakdown between english and spanish.
Highly recommended, my favourite restaurant to date.

We are 2 Canadian women traveling with little to no Spanish knowledge other than the usual bano, le quenta por favour, vino, cervaisas, gracias, etc etc, You get the picture, even the spelling is wrong. We were directed to this wonderful restaurant because I had a craving for french fries ( never eat them in Canada) and the bonus was the restaurant brew their own beer. The menu included thin crust pizza (we had one, delicious) and Mexican food and a large selection of fries with various sauces. I had a bowl of fries with a wonderful mushrooms & creamy sauce. Let me say that our Canadian poutine does not hold a candle to these fries. Isolina, our waitress, spoke perfect English and led us through the beer menu with great knowledge. They had only been open 1 week which is why you see no reviews here yet BUT without a doubt this will become a little gem of old town Colonia. The restaurant is located on a street by the same name, Barbot. Good luck on your new venture.
