In August 2014, during a day tour to Uraguay, some friends and I ate at La Pasiva en Colonia. The ambience was excellent, with seating outside and inside. The customer service is not as attentive as you would expect, however the food makes up for it. We were told that La Pasiva is famous for hotdogs. So we (3 of us) shared one, it was okay, but nothing like a Cincinatti 3-way. My girlfriend had the LA PASIVA burger, it came came on a plate with 2 patties, french fries, 2 fried eggs, ham and melted provolone cheese. I had the pork chops, that also came with fries, 2 fried eggs, ham and melted provolone cheese. Our friend had the churrasco steak with fries. The prices were VERY reasonable, and the portions were on the verge of excessive. Each table had a squeeze bottle with ketchup, mayonaise, and spicy mustard. Thats the first time I had seen spicy mustard on a standard table top. Please try this place if you stop into Colonia.
