“Overpriced.”
Reviewed 19 August 2011

The only reason we stayed here was because we'd already tried around 10 hotels and they were all full. At 25 usd for a double room this hotel is very overpriced, we were even more unhappy to learn that another couple we chatted to had paid 12 usd for their double room so we felt pretty short changed.

The price aside, the room was very clean, good location, not overly friendly staff but not rude either, would only stay again if the price was not so high.

Free WiFi and computer usage, restaurant also - OK prices but nothing special. (NB. the tuna burger is a burger bun with a can of tuna inside?!).

Room Tip: Don't get a room facing the road, very noisy.

The location, nearby the centre, is okay if you look at the price! we payed 21 dollar for three persons per night. and that's quite cheap if you look at the cleanness of these rooms compared to some other hotels here in town! I would not recommand this hotel but it's okay to stay here for a day or two!

This hotel was very busy so must be doing something right. Compared to others nearby it was cheaper ($12 double room) and had good facilities including a pool. Our room was on the top floor and we liked it a lot. Good en suit, TV, ac etc. We were pleased.

Staff were alright, not annoying, not overly friendly.

Recommended for people without hight expectations or those wanting to befriend hotel staff.

My review is positive, maybe I ran into different staff than other reviewers? Compared to some of the ATROCIOUS hotel staff elsewhere in Vietnam, these girls were very friendly, didn't push tours at all, keen to improve their english skills and generally helpful. Cleaning staff were a bit loud but in context not a problem.
Got a room not facing the road, but the internal atrium above the pool means you can hear everyone in the pool/internet area from your room. At least there was no traffic noise. (if you haven't arrived in Vietnam yet you cannot imagine the constant HONK beep-beep-beep HONK)
Everything in the room worked, thery have reasonable priced DVD player rental (heard of other places charging twice as much or more) and laundry was acceptable.
Compared to MOST OTHER hotels in Vietnam, this was a pleasure.

anager here could possibly be one of the rudest women Ive ever met! Our stay started off fine. We had met two other girls on the bus to Hoi An and they stayed here too. The next morning at breakfast the four of us were asked to move into a room together, the room had two small double beds, at no lower price. As she had made a mistake and overbooked people in! We wasn't happy to do this, although the girls we had met said they would move into a double room. The manager then ignored us and never moved the girls. The next morning we were out early on a trip. When we returned the manager said we only told them we were staying for two nights and that we were to leave and pay an extra half a day for overstaying check out. When we asked her who had said we were only staying for two days, her reply was "oh well one of you did" Erm no we didn't and she was clearly making this up in front of us. She said we could stay the night for double the price we had been paying. i asked her what her name was and her reply was "I have no name" After going over the same ground for some time, and insuring her we would be leaving early the next morning for our bus, she came out with "You can check out in the morning, I don't want to talk to you anymore"
The next morning at 7.15am we received a phone call telling us to leave. Then just after that, someone came up and opened the door and walked away.
After looking at the reviews left on trip adviser clearly the staff have attitude problems and wouldn't know the meaning of good customer service. Its a real shame, cause the hotel itself was reasonably clean and well presented, they obviously put their efforts into cleanliness and not giving good customer service!!!

I have nothing special to say about the hotel. The room was clean, a medium bathroom with bathtub, a small charming terrace and the price was raisonnable.
The breakfast is on extra cost, but not expensive.
However when we wanted to book bus tickets to Hué, they charged us the double price as we paid before to come in (we paid only 50,000 VND per person for a clean sleeping bus on our way in). So the hotel charged us 100,000 VND per person and when I asked them why is it more expensive, they said it was a bus for travelers. When the bus arrived, it was exactly the same bus as we had before, but the seats were not clean and way much older than the first bus... So for sure, the hotel kept half of the money for them!

I have been travelling around the world for a year now and have stayed in many hotel/hostels, good & bad around the world. But this is the only one I have felt I needed to review. After thinking we were offer a reasonable price for a room with the perk of a pool we thought we had a good deal, but we were wrong. The staff were rude and unable to help with our general questions, but more interested in selling us there tours.

The final straw was after our room was cleaned a pair of trainers miraculously disappear from the
bathroom. After asking the boss at reception if they had been removed from the room or maybe thrown away by mistake, she offered no help, insinuated I was lying. After asking a second time to check with her cleaning staff, she got aggressive and then basically laughed in my face.

The only option was to move to another hotel down the road, as we didn't feel safe leaving our belongs there or if we had any other problems arise we could not go to them. On leaving she refused to speak to us or make eye contact, only to give us an amount for the room.
