I would not recommend staying here, I should have known when I saw the cat sized rat in the lobby. It did not start out too bad but we ended up staying 3 nights and by the end I could not get out of there fast enough. The rooms are big enough and there was a fruit basket and flowers on the beds when we arrived. The biggest problem was the smell, it was not very noticeable when we first arrived but it seemed to increase in strength with each passing night. By the end the room just reeked, possibly from all the mold on the walls and our toilet running constantly. We were lured to this hotel by the promise of free flowing cocktails and the lonely planted recommendation. The free flowing cocktails consist of 3 watered down mystery drinks that had very little alcohol in them, we ended up skipping 2 of the 3 nights. The location of this hotel is not good either and is too far from old town.

We rented motor bikes from the hotel and in one day we had a tire pop which the hotel fixed. We went out later in the day and the bike broke down luckily near a service station. It took several hours but we got the bike repaired and had to pay out of pocket. We were not reimbursed for this and did not get our money back for the rental. The staff were just plain rude when we tried discussing it. We also booked our DMZ tour out of the hotel and received the most biased and at times downright hateful tour guide I have ever had. Overall I very much did not enjoy green fields. Go anywhere else!

My wife and I were attracted to the hotel by the promise of free cocktails each evening so were disappointed when the bar didn't actually have all of the ingredients requried to make any cocktails. The rooms were pretty basic and bathrooms not great (towels were cheap and old). That being said, everything was clean and worked ok. It was a bit of a walk into the old town, where most items of interest are located - we didn't find any decent restaurants or bars near the hotel. We had fun on the scooters we hired from the hotel. We didn't have any disasters here but wouldn't really recommend this hotel. Watch out for the hotel staff recommending their mates as tailors - we got caught with poor quality products after following the hotel's recommendation.

We agreed with the current reviewers that this hotel is going down hill.
Possitive notes: the reception staff was very friendly.
The other side: First of all, DO NOT book your tours or day trip using the travel desk in the hotel. They will try to cheat you.
Second, the hotel room smells horrible and the bath towels are about couple hundreds yrs old. It smells horrible. The room smells.
Thirdly, free cocktails...DO NOT get trick. It was horrible.
Fourthly, the breakfast was horrible.
Please, do yourself a favorite and find another hotel with equal price to stay.

Fine if you're a backpacker looking for a cheap dorm room but if you're looking for a 3 star hotel (as advertised!) I strongly urge you to go somewhere else.

Don't trust the photos on Agoda or the self rating. This place is a dump. 1 star at best.
