Owner description: We are Onetrip, a social travel enterprise connecting local guides with travelers from around the world for an insanely awesome experience. We believe that the people are even more beautiful than the wonders that gave us the travel bug. Therefore, we work closely with the local communities to come up with truly social experiences that not only showcase the natural wonders of the land, but also reveal the friendly beauty of its people…and of course, the mouth-watering local cuisines. Our itineraries are available for free and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this valuable resource. However, given the language barrier and your time constraint, we believe that a passionate local guide can provide you with a much more valuable experience. So take a look at what we have to offer and send us a LOUD message (so we get back to you immediately!) and we’ll set you up with that awesome guide for that insanely awesome experience. Cheers, Team Onetrip

My husband and I went on the secret Waterfall tour with TinTin, Bryan and Dung and it has been the highlight of our honeymoon! This tour is the perfect blend of adventurous, fun, relaxing, delicious and beautiful! The tour guides are very kind, friendly, funny and accommodating and by the end of the day you feel like old friends which was so lovely. You get to see parts of Hoi An you'd never get to experience without locals (ancient pottery village, lantern factory, off the map local market, a duckfarm that sells cold drinks, a secret waterfall one hour outside of the old quarter), you eat delicious food and you don't have to think about anything except having fun which is super relaxing. The tour guides take care of everything from buying the food you'll eat after your swim (being prepared by local family) to providing sunscreen...everything is taken care of. We also tried more than five foods and drinks we hadn't tried yet in the week we'd been in Vietnam, so that was a nice bonus. When we first discovered this tour, my husband and I were worried that this trip may be a tourist trap, but we can assure you that this company truly cares about your experience and attempt to give you a unique and genuine one. EVERYONE DO THIS TOUR, YOU WONT REGRET IT!

We had a great time with the Onetrip secret waterfall team with our family of 5. The Trip was well planned, safe and had the opportunity to see the beautiful Hoi An countryside and enjoy a swim at the waterfall. My kids (19,15,13) had a blast and would highly recommend this trip for anyone interested in a more adventurous tour!!

Food tour and local village tour was great. Our guides were very knowledgeable and fun to be around. Food tour included all the good local food you would not find by yourself though make sure you are very hungry as it's so much food (5 courses!). Local village tour included lovely cycle, boat trip and a ride on a buffalo! We would recommend both of these.

I thank the blog that introduced me to onetrip Hoi An adventures. We got to experience the essence of Hoi An. The secret waterfall was definitely worth it and the journey there and back was made so memorable by our lovely local guides. We learned something about the Vietnamese culture over our meals with these wonderful people.

The waterfall is just one part of the trip. In addition you get to experience a lantern making workshop, walk through a quaint vietnamese village where the main source of livelihood is selling pottery, try delicious local fruits and eat home-cooked food at this makeshift restaurant at the foot of the waterfall.

We took the private tour where you get your own guide who gives you a ride on his bike. We believe the semi private tour with more people would be even more fun. Just a word of caution - you will be on the bike a lot so if you have a sensitive back or are pregnant, this trip isnt for you. Hiking to the waterfall is also not for the faint hearted. Even though the hike is short, it really saps you of your energy in the sweltering heat. When you arrive at the waterfall you feel like you have earned it.

I dont think you can get this experience through any commercial group in Hoi An and I would definitely encourage you to book!

Had a great time exploring the food scene in Hoi An with our lovely guides Trang and Thuy. They took us to locations on their motorbikes where we would never have found by ourselves. We tried at least 7 delicious dishes and also had a romantic canal boat ride at the end which was a bit of a bonus. Would fully recommend this food tour to all our friends and family.
