After braving the wild, untamed streets of Hanoi, we were ready to put our feet up. We took the train to Hoi An out of utter stupidity and ignorance and were quite battered by the time we were greeted by the lovely, smiling face of Rose Garden's spirit-like Madame. The room, in a word? Really nice. Breakfast was sufficient everyday, with a heaving, hot, and sweaty bowls of Pho. The beds were supple and soft, with the smell reminding me of hotels of my youth. They even did our laundry with rumor circling the establishment that it was done by hand.

The bikes allotted to us were excellent in aiding us on our thirst to swallow Hoi An whole. A word of advice, though: those motorbikes are exactly the type Grandma says to never touch, and she was right. Don't ride those puppies, they bite.

The hotel staff constantly checks in on your wellbeing, and all have the breathtaking sincerity that evokes the feeling that they've been doing this for hundreds of years. They all hold numerous recommendations for Hoi An - really, these people are troves of quality knowledge. The location is very nice as well. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the Hoi An Roe Garden Hotel.

We had such a lovely stay at rose garden hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the swimming pool was great. The location was quiet and central. Walking to town or taxi was cheap.
