What a great evening! Our food was delicious, the service of Nyugen was impeccable and the beauty of Hoi An from the river was well worth the small cost! We ended up being the only couple on the "Romantic Sunset Dinner Cruise". At first we felt a bit uncomfortable that the expense the boat owners would incur would outweigh the price they were charging but within moments they made us feel like this was an evening created just for us. The set menu was delicious from the first mouthful to the last. Definitely a great way to spend our last night in Hoi An.

We made a special arrangement with Mr. Vinh to charter the boat for 28 of us. Sunset was early in January, it was dark when we boarded the boat at 5.30pm. Not much of a river view, but the boat was decorated with many colorful lanterns which added atmosphere to our candle light dinner. Food was tasty and sufficient. Service was good as well. It was a great evening out which ended with everyone setting off the wishing lanterns to the river.

Really disappointing!! We where the only people that booked the cruise on this day and we where taken to the markets to look at all the fresh food before being taken to the boat for the cooking class. The whole time was spent being pushed into shops to buy things and no information was give to us about the fresh fruits and vegetables.
Once on the boat it was a nice trip but the whole time including during the cooking lesson I felt humiliated and it was my first time ever in Asia ( and this is my 3rd trip to Vietnam) that I felt made fun of because we could not understand the chefs English.
The food was average and we were not invited to make a lot of the food ourselves and were yelled at on numerous occasions because we did not roll the rice papers correctly etc.
I wood suggest finding another cruise or make sure there Are other people that have booked the boat first.

Not the best food in town, just good food. But it was so pretty to spend the time out on the water, cruising slowly in the dark. The crew is nice, they'll chat with you if you want, or leave you alone for a romantic dinner. A pleasant way to spend an evening.

We enjoyed the sunset dinner cruise. The boat is lovely and quaint and the staff friendly. The food was nice although they ran out of ingredients to make mocktails but we were happy enough to just drink soft drinks. A lovely evening on the water and would reccomend this!
