Arrived after bus journey and didn't realise how far out the hotel was, especially with our heavy backpacks! Got a bit messed around with our room, previous people hadn't checked out of it! Put in room right by reception and was very noisy. Room smelt damp. Don't stay in room 101! Was helpful with booking next bus journey.

Hotels in Hoi An seem to be a bit iffy review wise, but we chose Sunflower and kept fingers crossed.

Overally, its almost a superb great hotel, just *not quite*

Very busy more hotel-like feel, but lots of young ish people here - posh backpackers really. Breakfast huge and eat-what-you-can, so fill up and avoid lunch costs too! Rooms good and bath/shower. No idea why previous review said only hot water for 1/2 shower, we had 2 long showers easily and even a good bath. Each room has own hot water tank so check thermostat on max?

Porter bag service, mini bar, 16Mb/s wifi and 4 internet PCs, free printing. Swimming pool okay. Restaurant evening prices a bit steep.

Location 15m walk from town, 30m from nice beach. Not central, but we like walking and seeing whats around - and enough different routes into Hoi An centre. Free Shuttle bus for those that dont wank to walk.

Only 4/5 as the bed sheets (clean) were slightly too small, and the external wall had obvious signs of damp. Typical on single skin external walls. BUT - not a big issue, didn't affect anything, and apart from cosmetic worry not a problem.

We paid $18 for double ensuite with breakfast - a bargain.

We stayed here for over week and it was great. It is about a mile from the main market but the walk is very easy- but don't worry- they offer a van trip every 1/2 hour. There is a market/pharmacy just to the right and a very sweet restaurant to the left. We ran almost every day from the hotel to the beach, a great short run. There are also bike rentals right out front. The breakfasts were varied, each day something different but the fresh omelets were very good. There is wifi as well as a bank of computers down in the lobby. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. One day we had an issue with hot water but it was solved very promptly. We will return.

Room Tip: Third floor seemed to have some better views- other than the wall of the next building!

Room was nice enough and the included breakfast was very good. Only enough hot water for half a shower. Had to ask for towels. Phone didn't work so it meant running up and down stairs for everything.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel in January and while it is centrally located there is only a shuttle that runs every half an hour, the staff and hotel are very noisy and be careful of the rooms near the karaoke bar that thumps well into the night, There is also no hot water here as this is controlled centrally by reception which is turned on and off throughout the day and even when on only renders one minute if hot water.

The breakfast was great and the staff helpful but would suggest another hotel with similar prices.

Room Tip: Stay away from the main street and the karaoke bar especially room 203

Large rooms - we had a 4 bed room. Good bathrooms complete with shower and bathtub. No mossie nets and lots of mosquitos.... one of the biggest downfalls of the hotel. 15 minute walk to the centre of town but has a free shuttle bus. Free internet but all the computers were working slowly or not at all when we were there. Swiming pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Great breakfast buffet, loads to choose from. Helpful staff to book buses etc. Lots of seating in the lobby for chiling out etc.

I stayed for one night. The room was clean, there was plenty of choice for breakfast making this place good value for money. The location is an easy walk from the main shopping area.
